As Dove fled Terra Atmosia with Stork, Stork had passed out from the injuries he sustained from the tortures Dark Ace had arranged for him. Stork suddenly found himself piloting the Condor. 

Stork: Where....where am I?

As Stork surveyed his surroundings, he was suddenly approached by Aerrow. 

Aerrow: You alright, Stork? You seem pretty spooked. More than usual. 

Finn: Aw he'll be fine! You know how he is! All doom and gloom! 

Stork was in shock to see that the Storm Hawks alive and well. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Suddenly, an explosion hits the Condor, causing it to shake violently. This alerts the Storm Hawks as Talon Skimmers were seen flying past the cockpit.

Piper: We're under attack!

Stork: We're doomed.....

Aerrow: Don't worry, Stork! We'll beat them back! Alright, Storm Hawks! Let's fly!

The Storm Hawks rushed to their Skimmers while Stork continued to pilot the Condor. As the chaos unfolded, Stork was began to panic. He watched as the Storm Hawks Skimmers came into view on the cockpit. Talon Skimmers flooded the skies as a warship came into view. 

Stork: No...no no no no!

As Stork began to panic, the Condor began to take heavy fire as both Talon Skimmers and the Cyclonian Warship bombarded the Condor with relentless strikes. Stork did everything in his power to keep the Condor in the air. Outside, the Storm Hawks were not doing that much better as they were overwhelmed by the Talon Skimmers. Soon enough, the Condor was overwhelmed and began to crash towards the Wastelands. Stork tried to regain control of the Condor, but couldn't do anything as the Condor crashed. 

Stork: (No....not again.....not again.....)

Stork soon woke up in a daze as Aerrow was dragging him out of the cockpit. 

Aerrow: It's okay! I got you!

As Aerrow moved Stork to safety, the rest of the Storm Hawks were barricaded on the bridge as they prepared for a fight. Aerrow then moved the barely conscious Stork besides a crate. 

Aerrow: Stay right here! 

Finn: We got bad times, Aerrow!

Junko: What are we gonna do!

Aerrow: We fight back! That's what we do! 

As the Storm Hawks prepared for a fight, Stork was wracked with fear as he began to panic. Soon enough, the Talons breeched the bridge and began to swarm the Storm Hawks. The Storm Hawks fought the seemingly unrelenting tide of Talons. It was in that moment that Dark Ace along with Ravess and Snipe entered the room. Junko attempts to attack Dark Ace, but Snipe hits Junko in the face with his Energy Mace. As Snipe begins to viciously beat Junko, he grabs Junko by the neck. Finn aims his Energy Crossbow at Snipe. 

Finn: Let him go you bastard!

Ravess then fires an arrow into Finn's throat. Finn staggers backwards before falling to the ground dead. Snipe then crushes Junko's throat and tosses his lifeless body to the ground. Stork watched all this in shock and horror. 

Stork: No...no.....

Aerrow and Piper are horrified to see their comrades die at the hands of Ravess and Snipe. Radarr then lunges at Dark Ace and scratches at his face. After a moment, Dark Ace manages to grab Radarr and throw him out of a nearby window. 

Aerrow: Radarr! No!

Aerrow then charges at Dark Ace and attacks him. Dark Ace quickly overpowers Aerrow. 

Dark Ace: Today is the start of a new era, boy. For too long, you Sky Knights have been a thorn in the side of the Cyclonian Empire. 

Aerrow: Not if I have anything to say about it!

Dark Ace: Bold words as always, Aerrow. But they are empty words. As we speak, the Cyclonian Empire is waging all out war against the Sky Knights. Every Sky Knight will fall to the might of the Cyclonian Empire! And you will be the first Sky Knights to fall!

Aerrow: I won't let that happen!

Aerrow soon fought a brutal battle against Dark Ace. During the fight, Stork watched in fear as his friends were dying one by one. Without thinking, he crawled inside the crate and hid inside while Aerrow fought Dark Ace. As the fight dragged on, Dark Ace began to get the upper hand on Aerrow. Aerrow attempts to slash at Dark Ace with one of his Energy Blades, but Dark Ace parries the attack and disarms Aerrow. As Aerrow was at his mercy, Dark Ace begins laughing. 

Dark Ace: When I destroyed the original Storm Hawks, I lamented over the fact that I could only do it once. But with you, I am given the rare opportunity to destroy the Storm Hawks again!

As Dark Ace raised his Two Handed Crystal Sword to kill Aerrow, Piper steps in and blocks Dark Ace's attacks. 

Piper: I....I won't let you hurt him!

Dark Ace: How brave of you!

Dark Ace then pressed the attack and quickly overpowered Piper and impaled Piper in the chest with his weapon. 

Piper: Aer.....row.....

Piper then collapses into Aerrow's arm as tears begin to fall down Aerrow's face.

Aerrow: Piper......please......no.......

Piper raises her hand to Aerrow's face, but it goes limp as she dies in him arms. Stork watches all this as he hid. He watched as Dark Ace finished Aerrow off. Stork watched as the Cyclonians left the Condor. He hid in that crate long after they had left. And when he finally got out, he was faced with the lifeless bodies of his comrades. As Stork lamented the loss of his comrades, he found himself confronted by the visions of his fallen comrades. 

Aerrow: You failed us....

Piper: You let us die.....

Junko: We trusted you.....

Finn: And you abandoned us....

Stork: No....please....

In that moment, Stork was confronted with the sins of the past. In the midst of his greatest despair, Dove sought hope.
