As Dove was restrained by Dark Ace's Talons, Dove prepared for what seemed to be her execution. Dove closed her eyes and embraced the end. But before Dark Ace could deliver the killing strike, an Energy Arrow strikes one of the Talons restraining Dove, killing him. This allowed Dove to free herself. 

Dark Ace: Sky Knight! 

As Dark Ace's forces were attacked, chaos had erupted into Terra Gale. Dove ran for safety as she she glanced over to the Windmill. She could see Stork firing Finn's Energy Crossbow from inside the Windmill. As Stork continued firing on Dark Ace's Talons, Dark Ace spots Stork in the Windmill. 

Dark Ace: IN THE WINDMILL! BURN THE SKY KNIGHT OUT!

Without hesitation, Dark Ace's Talons fired on the Windmill. Despite being under heavy fire, Stork continued firing on the Talons. As more Talons were killed by Stork, Dark Ace prepared the Firebolt Crystal in his Sword to fire on the Windmill. Dove then runs up to Dark Ace and tackles him, causing him to fire on Dove's home. Dove watched in horror as her home was set ablaze. It wasn't long before she was attacked by Dark Ace. 

Dark Ace: You'll regret this, girl....

Before Dark Ace could kill her, two Energy Arrows hit Dark Ace's arms. The Cyclonian Enforcer screams in pain as Dove begins running for the Windmill. Once she was inside, Dove barricaded the door to keep the Talons from entering the Windmill. 

Talon: Commander! They've barricaded the Windmill!

Dark Ace: Burn it! Burn them out! 

The Talons then proceeded to set the Windmill on fire in an attempt to burn Stork and Dove out. Meanwhile inside the Windmill, Dove regroups with Stork. 

Dove: Stork! 

Stork: Are you okay?

Dove: I'm...I'm fine. Why didn't you leave? Why did you stay behind to help me?!

Stork: I couldn't run away and let you die. I've...I've seen enough good people die because of my cowardice...

As Stork said this, the flames began spreading throughout the Windmill. Left with little time, Dove leads Stork through the underground tunnel. Dove navigates Stork through the tunnels until they reach a hidden hanger bay with only one Skimmer. 

Stork: A hanger bay?

Dove: Grandpapa built this hanger bay when I was a little girl. He told me that should the Cyclonians ever invade Terra Gale, I'd go to this hanger and use that Skimmer to escape. 

Stork: But you never used it. 

Dove: I...I inherited my Grandpapa's spirit. 

With that, Stork got on the Skimmer. Dove hesitated for a moment as she glanced back to her burning home. Her mind then falls back to the last words of Wren. 

Wren(Past): Dove.....thank you.......for giving this old man........a reason to fight.......I......I......

As those words echoed in Dove's mind, she thinks about all that she has lost since the Sky Knight Purge. She thought about the years in fear after the Sky Knight Purge. It was as if her spirit had been stolen from her. But after Stork's return, Dove's spirit returned. Though it pained her to see her home in flames, Dove had finally found her purpose and spirit again. 

Dove: Let's go....

With that, Dove got on the Skimmer with Stork and escaped from Terra Gale. Dove glanced back to see her home Terra in flames. It deeply saddened her to see he home burned. She thought of all the happy memories she had on Terra Gale with Wren. Despite this, Dove would press on. As for Stork, he realized that by revealing himself to Dark Ace, Stork had made himself an even bigger target of the Cyclonian Empire. But none of that mattered to him. For better or worse, Stork was back in the fight. Meanwhile in the ruins of Terra Gale, Dark Ace's forces were searching the Windmill. 

Talon: We've found no bodies, Dark Ace!

Dark Ace: Keep looking! They couldn't have gotten far! I want this whole Terra combed! Leave nothing to chance!

As the Talons searched the scorched remains of the Windmill, Dark Ace inspects the arrows that were shot at him. Upon closer inspection, he recognizes the arrows as those Finn used. As Dark Ace said this, he crushed the arrows. It wasn't long before a Talon approached him. 

Dark Ace: What is it? 

Talon: We've searched the Windmill and found the entrance to an underground tunnel. It led us to some kind of hanger bay. We...we believe it may be the one they used to escape. 

As the Talon reported this to Dark Ace, Dark Ace became infuriated. Without warning, Dark Ace kills the Talon. The other Talons said nothing as Dark Ace addresses them. 

Dark Ace: Let me make one thing clear, failure will not be tolerated! A Sky Knight is out there. We will hunt this Sky Knight to the ends of Atmos! I want this Sky Knight found! Am I understood? 

The Talons saluted Dark Ace as they prepared to depart from Terra Gale. After that, Dark Ace contacts Master Cyclonis. 

Master Cyclonis(Communicator): What is it?

Dark Ace: This Sky Knight....there's no doubt about it. It's one of the Storm Hawks. 

As Dark Ace says this, there was a moment of silence. 

Master Cyclonis(Communicator): Hunt down the Storm Hawk, Dark Ace. If word gets out that this Storm Hawk survived, everything we have built will be destroyed. Show no mercy.

Dark Ace: Understood. 

With that, Dark Ace ended the call with Master Cyclonis. In that moment, Dark Ace made it his personal mission to hunt down Stork no matter the costs.
