That day, Ken and Kairi are having a kendo training together.

"No. Like I said, I just want to stay away from her. I hurted her enough already. Just want to see her happy here" replied Ken.

Few days later;

Ken was summoned to Triple H's office before NXT went on air.

"So, boss. Did I do anything wrong?" asked Ken.

"No. What makes you said that?" asked Triple H in returned.

"Oh, not quite. Just a normal match against Tommaso Ciampa" said Triple H.

"So, I'm a face right now?" asked Ken.

"Yes. You're so over the fans. So, making you a heel so fast is not an option" said Triple H.

"Okay, boss. I better get ready now" said Ken.

"Very well, you may go now" said Triple H. Ken just nodded before left the office. Then, he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry. I didn't see you" said Ken.

"Oh, it's okay" said that person before she and Ken looked at each other.

"Hoshiki, I... Never mind. I'm sorry again" said Ken before lowered down his head a bit before quickly left.

"Is that really him? He never respecting me before" mumbled Arisa alone before keep walking.

Later on;

"This match is scheduled for one fall"

"Introducing first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Weighed in 201lbs, Tommaso Ciampa!"

"And his opponent. From Chiba, Japan. Weighed in 239lbs. The Last Samurai; Ken Battosai!"

The match begins with both superstars get into a chained wrestling. It is only ended with Ken snapped Ciampa's fingers before hits Ciampa with a snapmare German Suplex.

Meanwhile at the backstage;

"Your brother's style is completely different with you, Kaori" said Tegan.

"Well, what can you expect? He was trained by his uncle Minoru Suzuki after all" said Kairi.

"His uncle? Doesn't that means it's your uncle too?" asked Dakota Kai.

"Oh, no. Suzuki-san is his maternal uncle. We were born from 2 different mothers" said Kairi.

"Arisa, are you okay? You keep starring to the screen without saying anything" said Rhea.

"Yes, but just now, he apologised to me after accidentally bumped into me. He never did such thing since the first time we met. Now, I don't know" said Arisa.

"You didn't expect him to be a grown up man, huh" said Kairi.

"Well, senpai. I never thought he would ever change" said Arisa.

"Since when you know Ken?" asked Tegan.

"Since the 1st year in middle school" replied Arisa.

"Why did you had grudge on him?" asked Dakota.

"He always bullying me even though I never did anything wrong to him" said Arisa.

"He's a bully? Then, did you ever give him some payback?" asked Io.

"Yes. He wanted me to go to prom with him. I do went with him but, I danced with anybody else. He's really pissed off that time" said Arisa.

"Then, did he made some chaos?" asked Dakota.

"No. He just quietly leave the ball and went straight home" said Kairi.

"Really?" asked Io.

"Yes. He then went straight to our house's mini gym, takes off his suit and started punching and kicking the sandbag" said Kairi.

"And that night is the last time I ever saw him" said Arisa.

"Yes. He even asked his friends to take his graduation certificate for him while he just trained himself all day long" said Kairi.

"I wonder if I shall talk to him again" said Arisa.

"Maybe you should. It's not a good thing to hold grudge for so long, especially when you both are good persons" said Rhea.

"That's true" said Tegan.

"I'll try" said Arisa.

"Good enough" replied Kairi.

Meanwhile;

Ken just hits Ciampa with a superkick straight to the head. Then, he walked to a corner and get ready. When Ciampa tried to stand, Ken dashed towards him and hit Ciampa with a Harakiri before covered Ciampa for a pin to win the match.

"Here is your winner; Ken Battosai!"

Then, suddenly;

The NXT Universe jeers loudly as Undisputed Era making their entrance.

"Well, well. It's The Last Samurai. You see, Ken. I know that you and I never being on the same page during our time in Japan. But, this is NXT. Things can be different around here. So, what do you say? Join us in Undisputed Era and we will rule NXT together, bay bay" said Adam Cole.

"Well, Adam. That such a great offer" said Ken. But, suddenly;

The crowds cheered out loud when Kushida and Alex Shelley making the entrance.

"Wait a minute, kouhai. You don't deserved to join them. They are bunch of a bad guys. You're not like them. Listen to the crowds here. They all being supporting you. You shall come and join us. With 3 of us together, we're unstoppable" said Kushida. The NXT Universe making the 'Yes' chants.

"No, Ken. Don't listen to them. All of them are bunch of fickles. Besides, we all know how cool Undisputed Era is. We're not boring like Time Splitters" said Roderick Strong.

"Hmm, you got a fair point that. It just that" said Ken before rolled out from the ring. "I'm not interested with your offers because I didn't need any of you. You're the one that need me. I'm a man of my own. So, all of you can kissed my ass" said Ken before suddenly a slimes goes down into the ring causing all Undisputed Era and Time Splitters were covered with slime. Ken just laughed before walked to backstage.

"Good work, Ken" said Triple H.

"Oh, thank you boss" replied Ken.

"By the way, I want to tell you that this Sunday, you will be part of Men's Royal Rumble" said Triple H.

"Really? But, I just debuted here in WWE and I'm not as big as AJ Styles outside WWE though" said Ken.

"Well, it just means that I believe in you" said Triple H.

"Well, sir. Thanks for believe in me. I won't let you down" said Ken.

"I know you won't. See you this weekend" said Triple H before left.

"Royal rumble, huh" mumbled Ken alone while walked to the lockeroom.
