Welcome back readers
Tatsuo was taken to a secure facility, unconscious from her injuries and now in her true form. A sort of mix of human and dragon. Feathers lined her cheek bones, talons sharp as razors grew from her nails, scales grew up her arms.
She wasn't human, but she was beautiful. At least to her soulmates who wouldn't leave her alone for a second, someone was always there. Bruce however never visited, he felt it was his doing that lead her into the coma. Which to be fair, it was. Just not Solely. Her dragon side, DG, was also to blame.
Said side finally grew weak to her human side and no longer spoke nor needed blood to remain docile, as it should be for the dragon sides of her kind.
POV switch brought by a tired author
Everything hurts, so much. What happened?
Oh... Right.
Slowly I gathered feeling in my hands, one was weirdly warm. I brushed it off and worked my way over my body, gaining feeling and control bit by bit.
Pins and needles ran along my arms and legs, but eventually I got movement back. Everything was under control, thank goodness.
Blinking away the grogginess I opened my eyes, the dim lights of the hospital room filled my vision. It was night, at least it was comfortable. Taking in the room I noticed the tech was a lot better then a regular hospital, and guarded too. Maybe it was shield. Or hydra.
I looked over at my hand and my eyes went wide. Thor??? Didn't he want me dead?
Confusion quickly set in. But a cough caught my attention. I looked over to notice Nick. Fear crept up my spine but I just kept my eyes on him. He seemed uncomfortable. Weird.
"You've been out for two months. You're in a shield facility. You'll be here until the doctors give an okay for you to leave then you're going into one fo the underground facilities." He spoke. Ah, alright. A cage then. Wait, why wasn't I surprised? Or even worried? Or feeling anything???
You're numb again Su, I doubt you'll be able to slip out this time.
Well thanks for the help you temperamental overgrown lizard....
Nick quickly left and I just stared up at the ceiling, the beating if my heart and Thor's breathing being at the forefront of the sounds filling the area. Slowly I picked through them, fading the beating and breathing out to hear the footsteps outside. That was more calming then the breathing. There were people. I wasn't alone. I wouldn't be anymore. Who cares if they want to kill me? Not like everyone else doesn't.
Letting out a slow sigh I closed my eyes, soon hearing Thor's breath hitch before he jolted up. I heard him grunt and leave the room. As soon as the door closed I slowly sat up, rolling my shoulders and letting my wings out, the limbs barely passed my finger tips in this form so it wasn't too bad. The release of pressure made me sigh, gently rubbing my neck before popping the joints I could. Yep, definitely feels like I slept for two months. Swinging my legs over the edge I rested my weight forward, gently stretching my wings out and cleaning the blood off them as it trickled down my back.
The door opened, lifting my eyes I saw Bruce at the door. His eyes were wide, quickly shutting the door and walking off. Rolling my eyes I flipped to the other side of the bed, the lights were annoying. Sticking out my tongue I kept stretching my wings, gently pulling the edges till they started to ache. That's when I noticed they were starting to molt. Annoying. I ran my fingers along the shorter feathers, some falling immediately into my hands.
I looked at a nearby trash bin and put the bloody feathers into it. No wonder I was so itchy. I picked up on rapid footsteps, likely my soulmates... Man I should've just stayed asleep. Or died. Ignoring it I continued on, stretching the muscles that were worse off. Looks like I lost a lot of my weight.
As I thought the door opened, several gasps filling the air. I glanced behind me. Widow, Tony, Bruce. Okay then. Shaking out my wings and flapping them to shake out the last few loose feathers for today I folded them back into my skin, ignoring their frantic speaking. Too annoying. I looked back at them and they seemed to realize I wasn't talking.
"Wait... Do you even remember us?" Bruce whispered. He looked hurt.
"Of course." I grunted, laying back on the bed. I hear their breathing hitch before a nurse forced them out to do some medical jargon. I don't care nor know.
