The battle of Helm's deep emended with fire and scales
A/N: that's not Sevi's fighting form but that's the only pic I have that resembles her. Just imagine that Drogon is white
------------------
-Sevegilia's POV-
I was sitting at one of the tables in the throne room with Aragorn and Gimli. Gimli where drinking ale while I don't know what Aragorn drank. "Where is Théodred? Where is my son?" Theoden says suddenly, startling Sevegilia a little. A sad look watches over her face as she knows the son's whereabouts.
- EDORAS - DAY-
Two lines of soldiers form a pathway within a throng of people. Their heads are bowed low as Pall-bearers carry the body of THÉODRED between them. Upon Théodred'ss chest is a small bundle of white flowers. Theoden follows his son. Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Gandalf, and I follow him.
The people of Edoras stand closely leaving only a small pathway through the center of the city for the Pallbearers to carry Théodred. Cries and moans pierce the air.
-THÉODRED'S TOMB - DAY -'
Éowyn and I stand near the tomb's open door. I watch as the pall-bearers lower Théodred and pass his wicket between a path of people to the women waiting within the tomb to receive him. Sadness fills my heart. I may never have known Theodred but I know he was close to Eowyn and I felt that I had lost a good freind. I lower my head as Eowyn starts singing. it's in old English but I still understand her.
"Bealocwealm hafað fréone frecan forth onsended giedd sculon singan gléomenn sorgiende on Meduselde þæt he ma no wære his dryhtne dyrest and mæga deorost. Bealo..." *An evil death has set forth the noble warrior A song shall sing sorrowing minstrels in Meduseld that he is no more, to his lord dearest and kinsmen most beloved. An evil death...*
-THÉODRED'S TOMB - DAY-
The doors of the tomb are closed. I stand beside Gandalf while King Théoden stands in front of his son's tomb. I have a little white flower in my hands. It looks fair against my worn skin, as a newborn infant. I look up when I hear Théoden's words. They are as daggers in my heart. "Ever has it grown on the tombs of my forebearers." He turns to Gandalf. "Now it shall cover the grave of my son. Alas that these evil days should be mine. The young perish and the old linger. That I should live to see the last days of my house." I go to his side and lays a hand on his shoulder. " Théodred's death was not of your making," I say, squeezing his shoulder softly.
"No parent should have to bury their child." Théoden then breaks down, falls to his knees, and weeps. I move away from him, giving him room to weep. I turn to Gandalf. "I shall sing a song, it will give him a comfort I ever found in songs that my mother sang" Gandalf gave me a nod and I went to Théoden.
"My lord, is it okay if I sing for you? These songs always helped me when I was little and my dead passed." Théoden nods and stands up. I start singing softly, my voice baring over the empty plains.

"You shout it out, but
I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
You shout it out, but
I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm criticized, but all your bullets ricochet
Shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
Cut me down, but it's you
Who'll have further to fall
Ghost town and haunted love
Raise your voice, sticks and
Stones may break my bones
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium" As I stopped singing, Theoden had sitten down against the grass. I smile as I go back inside.
I suddenly hear a soft neigh of a horse. I turn, seeing a horse trots over the ridge, ridden by two children. It isÉothain and Freda upon Garulf. Éothain falls to the ground. I rush to them, taking down the girl who still sits on the horse. Once she's off, I whisper gently to the horse. "lenn- na I stables -o Edoras, meld Garulf, an cin shall ú- bróg hin children further" He nods and makes his way through the stables.
-MEDUSELD THRONE ROOM - DAY-
Éotihian and Freda sit at a table in the Great Hall ravenous eating. Éowyn stands and looks at Theoden...Theoden sits on his throne with Gandalf at his side...his head buried in his hand in deep thought. "They had no warning. They were unarmed. Now the Wild Men are moving through the Westfold, burning as they go." Eowyn speaks up. I turn my head to the king, closely reading his expression as he lifts his head from his hand.
" Rick, cot and tree." She continues. "Where's mama?" Freda says, sadness in her voice. Éowyn turns to comfort Freda...Gandalf turns to Theoden. "This is but a taste of the terror that Saruman will unleash. All the more potent for he is driven now by fear of Sauron. Ride out and meet him head-on." I still hold my gaze at Theoden.
Gandalf leans forward and puts a hand on Theoden's chair...Theoden looks at him warily. " Draw him away from your women and children. You must fight." "You have 2000 good men riding north as we speak. Éomer is loyal to you. His men will return and fight for their king." Aragorn pipes in. I spare him a glance, knowing how easily Theoden is to anger.
"Careful, Elessar. This king is easy to anger" I warn in his mind. He gives me a look and nods short. I move my head back to Theoden as he gets out of his chair walks to the center of his hall. "They will be 300 leagues from here by now. Éomer cannot help us." Gandalf moves forward to speak, but THÉODEN halts him. "I know what it is that you want of me, but I will not bring further death to my people. I will not risk open war." Aragorn removes his pipe and leans forward to speak.
"Open war is upon you, whether you would risk it or not." I shot the two men a glare. I then see Eowyn spin to look at THÉODEN and ARAGORN...THÉODENturns to ARAGORN. "When last I looked, Théoden, not Aragorn was king of Rohan," he said indignantly. I rolled my eyes softly and stood up. Legolas and Gimli flowed my moves. The same did Aragorn and Theoden and Gandalf. "Then what is the king's decision?" I said, now close to Theoden. I was towering slightly over him (what, im taller than most elves, so that makes me taller than most men.) I gave him a stare, waiting for his answer.
THÉODEN turns away from me, concern etched in his face.
- EDORAS - DAY-
HÁMA stands in the city delivering the king's decision. "By order of the king, the city must empty. We make for the refuge of Helm's Deep. Do not burden yourself with treasures. Take only what provisions you need." The PEOPLE OF EDORAS gather their things together...ARAGORN, LEGOLAS, GIMLI, and GANDALF and I walk among them. "Helm's Deep. They flee to the mountains when they should stand and fight. " Gimli says, annoyed with the king's decision of leaving for Helm's Deep. I too am slightly angered by Theoden's decision but I know better than to go against a king, even with the powers I have.
-ROHIRRIM STABLES - DAY -
We enter a ROHIRRIM STABLE and continue walking past the houses of ROHAN. "Who will defend them if not their king? " Gimli speak again. "He's only doing what he thinks is best for his people. Helm's Deep has saved them in the past. " Aragorn says. I stay quiet as the men talks. We approach the stable of my Old freind Shadowfax. He neighs softly when he sees me and bows his head. I return the gesture by taking a hand to my forehead.
"Suilad Shadowfax, nin iar freind. How tul- cin're Gandalf's steed?"*Hello Shadowfax, my old freind. How come you're Gandalf's steed?* I greet him in elvish. He answers in my mind, but in the common tongue. "We have been freinds through many dangers. He calls for me when he needs me, and I run to him. I am glad to see you, my lady. I have heard a lot about the Lady of The horses but I didn't think she would be a human." I snicker at his response and pat him on his nose. Gandalf and the others stand behind me and watch in awe as I talk to Shadowfax. " The men are watching, my lady" he neighs. I turn to see that he's right. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, even Gandalf stares at me in wonder.
" Come, Gandalf. Your quest is waiting" I say as I move away from Shadowfax. He neighs after me. Gandalf snaps out of it and smiles at me before he continues to talk with Aragorn. "There is no way out of that ravine. Théoden is walking into a trap. He thinks he's leading them to safety. What they will get is a massacre." Gandalf turns to Aragorn. "Théoden has a strong will, but I fear for him. I fear for the survival of Rohan. He will need you before the end, Aragorn. The people of Rohan will need you. The defenses have to hold." he says. His voice is grim. Aragorn holds Gandalf's gaze resolutely.
"They will hold." Gandalf smiles and turns from him and to Shadowfax. Gently, he strokes the mighty horse's coat. I stand beside Aragorn, listening to Gandalf's words. "The Grey Pilgrim. That's what they used to call me. Three hundred lives of Men I've walked this earth, and now I have no time." he says musing. Aragornopens the stall door... Gandalf mounts Shadowfax who snickers softly at me. I smile back and move out of the way for him.
"With luck, my search will not be in vain. Look to my coming at first light on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the east." Gandalf says atop of Shadowfax. Both I and Aragorn nods. "Go," Aragorn said. Legolas and Gimli jump out of the way as Gandalf blasts out of the stable at top speed.
I look after Gandalf as he rides across the open plains as fast as Shadowfax can carry him. I sigh before turning to my freinds. I will be outside if you're looking for me." I say with a short nod. They nod back as I transform into my white wolf form and dart out the stable door.
I lay on the stairs of Meduseld. My slumber is disturbed by Eowyn. I recognize her scent and jerk my head up at once. "Eowyn?" I say, uneasy how to react to a fellow lady. She seems to widen her eyes when she hears me speak. "Sevegilia?" She asks, surprised. I nod my furry head and take my tongue out as I pant. A wolf-like smile spread over my lips. My razor-sharp teeth glowing in the sun. She moves over to me, fear is audible in her steps. She reaches to pet my head and I gladly let her. I close my eyes as she strokes my fur on my canine head. "I dint know you were a shifter," She says after a while. I open my eyes again and look at her.
"I am, I am the last of my kin..." I trail off. The memories off my pack, my family flood through my mind, and I suppress tears to fall. I have cried a lot, but I will not let her see me weak. I then feel Aragorn's presence but pay no heed to him. I do want new freinds and Eowyn is an excellent example. I inch closer and lay my big furry head on her lap. I try not to weigh too much since my body is already pressing against her hip.
-Aragorn's POV-'
I was searching for Sevegilia when I saw Ewyon and something else. A big white wolf laid beside her, its head towering a small height over Ewyon. The wolf Notice my presence but pays no heed to me, save that her ear twitches in my way. I see her the closer to Eowyn and lay her big furry head on her lap. The rest of the big wolf's body is against the ground and her neck is pressed against Eowyn's hip. They seem peaceful, like two old freinds who have finely met each other.
Legolas apper beside me. "Where's Sevi?" He asks. I gesture to the two ladies sitting on the stairs. Legolas turns his gaze. I see a smile tug on his face. I smile too, seeing our shifter getting new freinds is good. As I was about to turn away, I hear my name being called. I turn again and see both Eowyn and Sevegilia stand, looking at me. Sevi was still in her wolf form. She towered clearly over Eowyn.
"Yes?" I said as Sevegilia walked over to me. She seemed to notice Legolas too because she gave him a quick nudge before turning to me. "Do you need anything, guys?" She said. her wolf voice was slightly deeper than her normal voice but still, it hold her softness. I looked at Legolas who got what I was trying to say and started talking.
"We wonder if you wanted to go stroll with us. You may be in any form you like"
-Sevi's POv-
A smile appeared on my face as Legolas asked me to join him and Aragorn on a stroll. I nodded my wolfy head and ran to my room as fast my four legs could bear me.
------------
I walked outside of the doors as saw the stars. We would make it for Helm's Deep in the morrow so I decided to have fun with my freinds. Soon I heard the sound of footsteps. Legolas and Aragorn soon stood beside me at the top of the stairs.
"Shall we go?" Legolas said as he offered his arm. I took it and we started walking.
We arrived at a small mound of earth and I transformed into my wolf shape and jogged up on the top. There I howled. A howl full of longing but also joy. I had my friends by my side and Frodo was close to Mount Doom and soon the ring could finally see its last days. "Wow, I've heard wolves' howls but hers is probably the most beautiful," Aragorn said as he looked up at the white wolf girl. Legolas nodded. He had not heard wolf howls before except the wargs but Sevi's howls were much more beautiful. More soulful.

-the Next morning 🌞-
I woke up by the sun shining her rays of heat right at my face, as to say "wake up". I yawned and stood up. I could see a dress on the hem of my bed. I took it gently in my hands and examine it. It was blue with white silver threads running down from the neckline to the end. It also had small shapes of dragons and woodland leaves. I grinned at the beautiful dress and took it with me to the bathroom to change.
When I was done, I walked out of the bathroom and was met by Éowyn. She smiled brightly at me as she saw me. "You look beautiful. Come, let me do your hair" she beamed. I sat down in front of her and she started to braid my hair.
Eventually, she was done. She handed me a little mirror and I look at my reflection. I looked like a different person but I still had the dragon glow. I gave her a little grin. "It's beautiful, éowyn. Thank you, but I am pretty sure I don't need a dress today. Remember we have to make for Helm's deep." I said. To be truthful, I didn't actually wanna tear this dress to pieces when I shifted but I had learned to shift with clothes on.
"It isn't a normal dress, Sevi. It's a warrior dress, see." Éowyn said as she press a little button that I had not noticed when I took it on. As soon she had pressed the button, the dress shifted into a more travel/warrior-like. I smiled and turned to Éowyn.
"Thank you" I beamed. She smiled back and we shared a warm hug. A knock ruined our moment but we dint care. I straightened my dress or should I say warrior dress?
I opened the door and saw Legolas. I smiled at him. I was slightly taller than him but only ahead. "Ah lord Legolas, good morning" Legolas smiled back at me. I turned to Éowyn and she understood. She made her way out of my room.
"I guess you wanna escort me outside, eh?" I said. A blush crept over Legolas's face and I giggled. "It's okay, my dear. I would gladly be escorted by you" Legolas smiled at my words.
-----------
We had made our way outside to the others. I shifted into my horse form and Legolas mounted me with grace. I bucked my head gently to his waist. (No, I did not break my neck by this. If you must know, I moved my head sideways so my muzzle would touch his hip)
He patted me and I snorted. "You're ready?" Aragorn asked as he rode up beside us. He rode the horse by the name Brego. Brego bowed his head low to me and I nodded my head.
"Yes," Legolas said. Then théoden called out that we should move. And then we started to ride Helm's Deep.
-At Helm's Deep-
As we came inside the gates of Helm's Deep, Legolas dismounted me and I sifted back to elven form. My warrior dress was still intact, thank the Valar. I made my way to my chamber and sifted out of my warrior dress and into my nightdress. Then I sank into the soft mattress and dreams filled my head.
---------------
I know it stands "The battle of Helm's Deep and I will have a chapter with it, the next one. The reason I decided to not take the battle in this chapter is that I have no insporastan of it. I will watch the movie next week so I think I will find more inspiration there. that's all:)
