chapter thirty-three: Vengeful feelings
(Y/n) felt a hand on her shoulder and looked to see Kakyoin. The red haired teenager's eyes showed pain, "(y/n), Go back to the hotel. It is not safe here." The teen did not let her get any words in and made her leave. She begrudgingly did after looking over to Polnareff. The tiny child ran off into the streets towards the hotel, past Joseph and Jotaro. She had tears in her eyes as she ran past them. The child did not go back to the hotel, but jumped up to a rooftop in order to cry for Avdol. She did not know him long, but she could tell that was a kind person. His power over heat reminded her of her uncle Esidisi.
He was a kind and jolly soul. That cowboy lookin man, Hol Horse, killed him. A small angered growl rose from the little girl as she forced her nails to grow into claws, the process was painful but she had to punish Hol Horse for what he did.
The child jumped down from the building she was perched on. A feeling in her gut, almost like a whisper in her ear told her to look down the street. She saw Hol Horse down the street. He was talking to a bloodied Polnareff and Kakyoin. He took off as soon as he knew that he was not going to win. The blond cowboy was not ready for what was coming next. He was running from Polnareff and Kakyoin with his tail between his legs, coward.
The man was body slammed by a tiny and knocked over by the momentum. The plum haired girl let out an inhuman screech as she let her tiny claws tear into the man's face and flesh. Slash after slash, rage and pain had consumed the child. The man was screaming for mercy from the horned child that was tearing his flesh with her tiny and sharp claws. Her red eyes matched the blood that was now covering the man's face and torso.
Joseph and Jotaro followed the screams to find the tiny and ancient girl attacking someone. Kakyoin and Polnareff followed the man to find the same sight. The plum haired girl was merciless with her flurry of slashes. Hol Horse tried to use his arms to block the slashing claws, only to be met with sharp teeth sinking into the flesh of his arm. Joseph never saw such ferocity from the little girl before, even when she was with her father. Polnareff filled the others in as the tiny pillar had Hol Horse occupied. After filling them in, Polnareff and Kakyoin wondered if letting the little girl continue to tear him apart was the best idea.
(Y/n) felt some tendrils around her as she was pulled off of the blond man. She felt hands on her mouth that made her open her tiny jaws. But everyone was away from her and Hol Horse. The tendrils pulled her up to Kakyoin as Polnareff stepped forward to kill the cowboy as revenge for Avdol. He was about to slice the cowboy up, but a teenaged girl blocked him from doing so. Hol Horse got away as the little girl in Kakyoin's arms screeched and tried to get at him again. Only when he got away did she settle down. She was covered in Hol Horse's blood.
The girl who stopped Polnareff from killing Hol Horse must have gotten injured from the action as she was bleeding. But. She was not bleeding as much as she should have. Polnareff was allowed to get up when Hol horse was gone. Hol Horse was just using this infatuated woman to save his own skin. Disgusting. Polnareff took a deep breath before letting it out and taking (y/n) from Kakyoin, "Let's go. We need to make it to Egypt if we are going to kill DIO."
Polnareff carried the little girl and wiped the blood off of her face. She absorbed the rest of the blood on her hands and body. The Frenchman tossed her into the air a few times and hugged her. He seemed much happier now that his sister's murderer was dead. The silver haired Frenchman still was saddened by Avdol's death, but he seemed to be playing with the child so that she would not be as sad. This man's soul was kind, Polnareff was a naturally kind and gentle person. (Y/n) hugged his neck as she felt small tears fall onto her hair. Her warm horns rubbed against his cheek as she hugged him. The two were happy as the rest of the group followed. They had to find a bus to continue their journey on.
Once they found a bus and was on their way to their next destination, (y/n) moved to sitting with Kakyoin and Jotaro as Polnareff was busy with Nena, the woman that started to follow the group. (Y/n) instantly did not like this Nena. There was something wrong with her. "Polnareff. Your girlfriend smells like death.," the girl said over Jotaro's shoulder to the Frenchman, "Ditch her. There is something wrong." Polnareff got a little irritated at what the girl said, "I'm not about to leave a poor defenseless young woman alone."
The little girl was about to say something else when Kakyoin pressed a finger into her cheek. She gave turned to bite his finger out of habit. The red haired teen pulled his finger back after getting the nip. Jotaro made the red eyed pillar girl sit down and apologize to Kakyoin for biting him. The ride was pretty quiet, save for Polnareff's almost constant chatting to Nena. (Y/n) wanted to say something again and Jotaro covered her mouth, "Let him be an idiot."
(Y/n) finally just settled down and snuggled between Kakyoin and Jotaro for the long ride. She was glad when they reached their destination. Jotaro put her on his shoulders so she would not get separated from the group. With how crowded the city was, she could easily get lost or snatched up by one of DIO's operatives. She noticed Joseph was scratching his arm. There seemed to be a large wart on it, "Hey, old man. What's on your arm?" Joseph continued to scratch it, "I think a bug bite got infected." Kakyoin came over to look at it, "You should probably go see a doctor about that. It looks very swollen."
Polnareff came over and looked at it, "Eww. It looks like it has a face." "Stop kidding around, Polnareff.," Joseph said and took his arm down to cover the bite.
"I don't see a face on it.," (y/n) said and looked to Joseph, "You used to joke around a lot when you were Pol Pol's age." Kakyoin snickered at the little nickname the girl gave Polnareff. Polnareff laughed a bit, "Sorry about that. Want me to go with you to the hospital?" "No. Don't treat me like an old man.," Joseph said as he turned to walk off. "Why not?," (y/n) asked, "You are an old man. Could have at least used your hamon a little more to slow down your aging." Joseph turned and pointed to her, "Watch it, little lady. You may not like what happens if you keep that up." The plum haired girl stuck her tounge out at him and he chuckled before walking off.
Polnareff wandered off with Nena following him, leaving Kakyoin and Jotaro with the little girl. The dark haired teen sighed and walked with the red haired teen following, "Oi, (y/n). Have you been here before in your lifetime?" The plum haired girl thought for a bit, "Maybe? I think so? I know that Wamuu liked to take me out on walks when I was very small. I know Esidisi took me to China and Japan once." Kakyoin chuckled, "Well, you might remember if you see some of the really old buildings." The small group of three kept walking and exploring a little. Kakyoin told the two what he read about the area. Jotaro listened to his friend and ducked down so his aunt wound not get hit by objects that were hanging above the streets.
"Go ahead and look for signs of enemies, (y/n).," Jotaro spoke, "We need to be careful." The girl nodded and used her horn to sense the surrounding area, she did not feel anything nearby. This information is what she relayed to the ones she was with. Jotaro and Kakyoin knew that they were safe with this. But they could not help but worry a little for their companions that were elsewhere. "You really were tearing into Hol Horse.," the red haired teen commented, "I had to use Hierophant Green to get you off of him. I was a little concerned that you would attack me in your frenzy."
"Funny you mention that. I felt someone else pulling me off of him besides Hierophant.," the child said. "I did not see anyone.," Kakyoin said. "I thought I saw a hand.," Jotaro said, "but it did not look like it was attached to anything, just faded." Kakyoin looked up to the girl, "I think Anne mentioned something about you seeing something in Singapore." "Perhaps she has an evil spirit.," the dark haired Japanese teen said as he walked with the pillar girl on his shoulder. "Don't joke about that Jotaro.," the girl whined, "That's scary."
"That is kind of ironic coming from you.," Kakyoin spoke with a chuckle, "You are not afraid of assassins, stands and vampires. But you're afraid of ghosts." "Not ghosts. Evil spirits.," the little girl said, "Stupid papa, making me watch scary movies with him." The child pouted with her cheeks puffed up, making Kakyoin chuckle and Jotaro crack a small smile. "Did I hear you call mister Joestar 'papa'?," the red haired teen asked with a smile. "Don't tell him I said that.," (y/n) said with her cheeks still puffed up. Jotaro stopped walking and looked around. They were on a set of stairs that led down to the river. Many people were at the river. It did not smell very good. "Is that water even safe?", the girl asked as Jotaro and Kakyoin sat to put their feet in the water.
"This river is vital to the way of life here.," Kakyoin said, "So much that the local people pretty much are born and die and even have funerals on this river." Jotaro took the little girl off of him and set her down on the steps beside him. (Y/n)'s face scrunched up, she felt like she would get sick if she tried to drink the water. The little girl instead played with her doll as the two teens sat with their feet in the water. Kakyoin got up and scooped something out of the water and showed the other two, "I got a fish." "That's a catfish.," (y/n) said. "It could be a goonch.," Kakyoin said and let the fish go.
Jotaro sighed and was about to light up a cigarette, but stopped when he was splashed by a pair of children playing in the water. He sighed and took the wet cigarette out of his mouth as his two companions snickered at him. "Cigarettes are bad for your health.," the little girl said and got her hair rubbed by Jotaro. "Yare yare...," the teen sighed and got up, "I think it is time to go find the old man and Polnareff."

The screams of Enya filled the large manor that DIO was staying at. She had felt the pain her son felt when he died, she also felt Nena be killed. She was filled with rage as she figured out who killed her son. Polnareff. "I'll kill him! I'll kill all of them!," the old woman screeched in rage. A voice from the darkness called to her, "Enya. What is causing you to make all of this noise?" The hag turned to her master, "Lord DIO, My son and the Empress have been killed! Please allow me to kill them for you."
The vampire hovered in the shadows as his servant begged for a chance at revenge, "If you wish. But remember, you cannot harm (y/n). I want her brought to me. Also, you cannot win if she decides to fight, you would lose almost half your body with a swipe of her hand if you do."
The vampire disappeared into the darkness, letting the old woman run out to seek revenge on the one who hurt her son.
