Chapter Sixty-one: Mangaka

Santana was in a deep sleep when (y/n) woke from her nap. His arms had loosened enough that she could crawl out of his grip. The little plum haired pillar girl proceeded to roll off of the bed and landed on her hands and knees on the soft carpeted floor. Her red eyes looked over the bed to the older pillar, he did not seem to notice that she was missing from his arms. Perhaps he was too deep in his sleep. He needed the rest though. The little girl brushed out her hair and got into fresh clothes before she left the room to go into town. She would be back by sundown. Perhaps she would see Josuke or Koichi on her walk, that would be nice. She could also go see if she could find Kakyoin or Caesar. The small girl was in a good mood.
(Y/n) left the hotel in high spirits. Her body was light as she moved and danced between the legs of the horde of humans that walked through the streets. The humans did not look down to see the little horned girl swiftly moving with grace through the crowd. The crowd thinned out finally and she could wake around normally. She looked to the sky and saw where the sun was. School was out, Josuke and his friends had to have been walking home at that time. The plum haired pillar girl sighed as she passed through the streets.

Silver hair caught her attention. She had found Koichi. The girl saw there was not many other humans around, she had a perfect chance for a trick. (Y/n) readied herself and pounced, landing on Koichi's back and hugging him. "Koichi!," the little girl chirped and squeezed the young man. Koichi wheezed from the tight grip around his torso. He looked behind him to the little girl rubbing her cheek against his uniform. "(Y/n), what are you doing? Why are you not with Santana?," the short, silver haired Japanese teen asked. "He's still asleep. So I came out if the hotel to play and wait for him.," the little girl replied, "I'm looking for someone to play with until he wakes up!"
Koichi was pulled down to her height by her surprising strength and her soft, warm and rubbery cheek rubbed against him, "I just so happened to find you!" "I really love to play with you, but I am kind of tired from a long day at school.," Koichi sighed. The little pillar child whined and let the teen go, "How about I walk with you to your place? I can go see Josuke afterwards." The green eyed young man nodded and took her hand so they could walk together.

(Y/n)'s small warm hand fit easily in Koichi's as they walked together. They came across another high school student. One that had a darker uniform that was covered in buckles. This new person's hair was dark and neck length, it seemed sleek and perhaps a little greasy. He looked back at Koichi and the little pillar girl. The dark haired teen's eyes widened a little bit as he saw the little girl's horns then at Koichi. "Ha... Hazamada.. san.," Koichi stuttered out. The teen seemed to know this slightly older one. "Ko.. Koichi-Kun...," The new male also stuttered, "H-hey, how are you doing? Th-thanks for everything the other day. Who is that? She is cute and has horns." "My name is (y/n).," the red eye pillar spoke.
"How are you doing? Are you all healed up now?," Koichi inquired. Hazamada put up a peace sign, "Yes. I got out of the hospital two days ago." The dark haired teen immediately got defensive and looked around. "That bastard, I mean Josuke, is he around?," the teen asked. (Y/n) narrowed her red eyes at the teen, he just called her stepbrother a bastard. "He went home already. Apparently he found an invisible baby yesterday. There was a big fuss about finding her mother.," Koichi spoke and felt the hand of the small pillar beside him tighten around his own. "So the baby is a stand user?," the black haired teen asked. "Apparently so. But she has really taken to Josuke's father, Mister Joestar, she turns everything around her invisible if he is not around.," Koichi said as (y/n) looked up at him with a bit of a confused face.

The two teens and the little girl walked together. The plum haired girl kept walking beside Koichi. "So, mister Joestar will be in town for a while?," Hazamada inquired. "Papa and the others will be in town for a while longer.," (y/n) said as she walked with the teens, "I think there are some things that the speedwagon foundation needs to investigate here." "Oh, how is Santana doing?," Koichi asked the little girl by him and got a puzzled look from the black haired male beside them, "Santana is her guard. He's not human and cannot be in the sunlight." "Santana is doing well. He just needs to catch up on some sleep.," the little girl answered, "I think he is a lot happier now that he is no longer alone."
"Not human? Can't be in the sun? Is he some sort of vampire?," the black haired teen asked. "Oh please, don't insult us. Vampires are mere fodder for us. We're much more dangerous.," the child spoke before she let go of Koichi's hand and shoved her hand into the flesh of the dark haired teen beside them. Both teen boys were freaking out, Hazamada had a hand melded into his face, it felt good and awful all at once. The girl pulled her hand out if his flesh and made a gag, "You taste awful. Like a rotting zombie I tasted over one hundred years ago. Also, don't talk bad about my stepbrother."

Hazamada was visibly shaken as Koichi pulled the small pillar away from him and told her that she should not do that to people. The little girl shrugged, "I'm not going to eat him, he tastes disgusting." Koichi had to calm the other teen down and guarantee that it was safe to be near the little girl. The three walked together before Hazamada brought up another topic to talk about, "Do you two like Manga?" "Manga? I guess I do as much as other people.," Koichi replied. The little girl thought a bit, "I think I read some in the bookstore I was exploring."
"Have you two heard of the one called 'pink dark boy' written by Rohan Kishibe?," the dark haired teen asked. "Pink dark boy? Of course! I'm a huge fan!," Koichi said with a large smile on his face. The plum haired pillar girl pulled out her doll to hold, "They would not let me even look at it since I looked so young." The two teens began talking about the gruesome yet interesting Manga like a pair of over excited fans, which they were. Hazamada then pulled the two closer to him, "Did you know that Rohan actually lives here in Morioh?" "What?! Really?!," Koichi asked in shock. (Y/n) was squished between the two excited teens as they got more and more pumped up. 'Whatever happened to Koichi being tired?,' she thought to herself, 'Humans are weird.'

"Hey, how about we all go there and see if he is willing to give us some autographs?," Hazamada inquired, "It could be fun!" "Yes! Of course I'll go!," The silver haired Koichi chimed in excitement. "Well, someone will have to look after you two.," the little girl sighed, "Might as well go too." As soon as those words left her lips, she was scooped up by Koichi as the teens ran off to get to the Manga artist's home. The little girl held onto her doll with one arm as she hung onto Koichi with the other. They went to the residential area of Morioh and to the big White house with a green roof and rusty red accents. The same house that (y/n) had been watched by a creep from the two times she had passed by with both Iggy and Santana. She felt the energy of the man inside. "Are... are you sure this is the right house?," the little girl whined after being let down to walk on her own, "I don't like the energy that is coming from the house."
She held onto the uniform of the silver haired teen. Koichi looked back at her, "So, is he home?" "Why are you asking her?," Hazamada inquired. "Because she can sense life energy and stands with her horns.," the silver haired teen replied. "He's there.," the little girl said, "Thankfully he is not staring again. It was creepy to be watched as I walked by with Iggy and Santana." The two teens looked at the house, Koichi saw a room that was shuttered. The silver haired teen pointed it out, "Look! That has to be his studio, the light is on!"

"I wonder if he has any family.," Koichi mused as they walked closer. "There is only one person in the house. Male, early twenties.," the plum haired pillar girl said, "He's not in his studio though, he's on the ground floor." The tiny pillar forced herself to go up the stairs and stand in front of the door, she felt the man inside of the house getting closer to the front door. He had to have been watching them. The little plum haired pillar held her doll as she looked at the deck furniture, this Rohan had pretty good taste. Hazamada and Koichi were talking a little more before Koichi was urged to ring the doorbell. The silver haired teen got up onto the porch and was reaching for the doorbell when a hand shot out from behind the door.
It was Rohan himself, (y/n) recognized his creepy eyes. Both Koichi and (y/n) screamed in surprise. Koichi being in fear of being grabbed and (y/n) out of human instinct that momentarily gripped her before she kicked Rohan's shin to defend Koichi. The artist let go of the small teenager. Hazamada confirmed that this was Rohan as the man clutched his shin, his glare shot to the children before him. The plum haired pillar hugged onto Koichi, ready to protect him and Hazamada. "Ro.. Rohan-Sensei.," Hazamada sputtered out. The green haired man exited his house to look at the three on his porch. His green eyes looked them over. They showed that he did recognize the horned little girl before he looked at the teens she accompanied.

"Who are you three?," He asked in a surprisingly smooth voice, "What are you doing? Playing a prank?" "Not at all! We would never!," Hazamada spoke with both of his hands up, "Koichi and I are Students at Budogaoka High school. She is a friend of Koichi's." "We're fans of yours, Sensei!," Koichi added as (y/n)'s red eyes gave the man in front of them a sharp gaze. This made Rohan's tone towards them change quickly, "Fans? Of mine? You're readers? My address must have gotten out." "N-No! I just happened to overhear it, the realtors were very chatty.," Hazamada explained to the green haired man in front of them, "I know this is sudden, but is it okay if we ask for autographs?" The man's green eyes looked down to the children before him, scanning over their features quickly.
"Fans of mine, hm? That is wonderful. We may be on the same wavelength then.," the green haired man spoke, "A few autographs are no problem at all." Hazamada and Koichi got excited after he spoke those words. They seemed pretty happy. Rohan walked into his house a little ways and left the door open for the three who came for a visit. "Oh, I know, how would you like to have a tour of my studio?," Rohan asked, "I have already finished for today. So I am free to do so." "You really would let us?," the two boys excitedly inquired and got a friendly smile from the artist.

Rohan smiled and motioned for them to come on in, "Please, come on in." "Thank you, Rohan-Sensei! Pardon out intrusion.," the two boys spoke and walked in. The green haired man looked out to the child that was still on his porch, "It's okay, you can come in as well." (Y/n) hesitantly stepped into his home and looked around, the furniture looked familiar, like something from an old movie. Her red eyes looked up to the man, he was looking at her horns with some curiosity. She used her hands to cover her horns and scooted away from him, she would keep her stand at the ready, just in case.
The Manga artist was not bad looking at all. His green hair was swooped to the side as it was partially held up by a headband. He wore a soft lavender long sleeved shirt and a long green vest. His pants were a sleek white. His earrings resembled pen nibs. The pillar girl took Koichi's hand as the Manga artist showed them the way to his studio. It was a clean room with a bookshelf to one side. A neat desk with drawing supplies sat in the middle, a fax machine and printer sat on the opposite wall of the bookshelf. There seemed to be a computer there for digital work. The triangle shaped bookshelf had the pillar child's attention as she looked at the books and objects displayed on it while she held her porcelain doll in her hands.

Hazamada and Koichi were making exclamations at every little thing they saw, (y/n) covered her ears from their yelling. She knew that the Manga artist was watching their reactions as she was on high alert. She felt a stand presence, but did not want Rohan to know that she knew, she could only hope that he was like Tonio. (Y/n) was barely listening when Rohan was speaking to the two who were obviously more interested in his work. The plum haired little girl looked at his awards. She looked back at the man when he got close to the two teens, there was a spider on Hazamada. Rohan looked at her, "Can you get me the insect Encyclopedia on the bottom shelf there?" (Y/n) did as asked and saw him turn to the page of the type of spider he was holding.
The small pillar girl stepped back, her hand reached into one of her bags that was on her belt. She lied before about not having a poison ring. She made it when she was traveling and collected a few good poisons to put into the cocktail. Her small fingers gripped the ring, ready to put the ring into the Mangaka's body so she could let the other two get away. Rohan was examining the spider before he stabbed it with an exacto knife. The girl watched in horror as the Manga artist was basically dissecting the arachnid alive gleefully.  Hazamada and Koichi were in the same horror.

Hazamada must not have been able to handle the horrible Visage before him and got sick on the floor. Rohan got excited by this and got a sketchbook to try and capture the image of the boy's sick expression. It was not genuine after the first one. (Y/n) felt absolutely disgusted at the Mangaka and he noticed her expression of utter horror and disgust mixed with the contempt one would have for a lower being. The man started to sketch her expression instead before she turned her back on him, the ring was in her hand. "Oh well, I was able to capture the essence at least.," the Mangaka lamented and got up to walk out of his office, "I'll go get a signing pen from the kitchen and I will get us some tea as well."
Rohan had some sort of trust that his fans would not trash his office. That is for sure. The plum haired pillar girl looked back at the two and down at the mess Hazamada made on the floor. The green haired man left the office, Hazamada was still starstruck by the Mangaka. "He's so amazing. Pink dark boy must be amazing because of his efforts to figure out everything.," the dark haired teen said with a small bit of red on his otherwise pale face.

'Rohan is creepy. He has not even left.,' (y/n) thought to herself as she felt the house with her horns, 'He's just waiting outside. He's waiting for something to happen.' Her red eyes narrowed before she looked to Koichi. The green eyed boy spoke up, "Hazamada, I know we just got here, but, uh... maybe we should go home." The pale faced, dark haired teen looked to the silver haired one, "Huh? Go home? You want to go home? Why? This is so much fun!" "I agree with Koichi, it's getting late and Santana will be mad if I don't go back.," the plum haired pillar girl spoke, "He might even go on a rampage if he thinks I'm in trouble." The little girl shuddered a bit after thinking about what her guard might do to the unfortunate town if he was enraged.
"I don't really have a reason, but... I guess you can call it a hunch. I'm not that perceptive, but I have a feeling that Rohan-Sensei is dangerous.," the silver haired teen spoke to the other as the plum haired pillar girl's eyes went to the studio door. The little girl's horns were feeling were Rohan was. "Dangerous? Do you think he is a stand user then?," Hazamada inquired as he got closer to Koichi. Koichi got a little uneasy, "No! Nothing like that. It's just uh..." "Just because Rohan-Sensei is a little unusual, I don't think you should assume he is a stand user.," The dark haired teen chuckled and but and arm around Koichi's shoulder. "I'm not assuming that he is...," Koichi replied and looked to the pillar girl.

(Y/n) let out a sigh, "I've been tracking a stand energy since we got close to this house. It very well may be Rohan. I've been getting a bad feeling since I first walked by this place with Iggy." "If Rohan-Sensei is a stand user, then we would have something in common with him. It would be great for us.," Hazamada grinned. "Or incredibly dangerous. I've seen some of the worst in stand users eleven years ago.," the Pilar girl spoke softly, "Something as stupid as a car, a man who manipulates a black hole and even an 120 year old vampire who could stop time for up to five seconds." "You two can leave if you want to.," Hazamada smirked, "We can always come back later, but... I've been eyeing this on his desk."
The pale teen pointed out a manila envelope. "Oh? What is that?," Koichi asked. "Jeez, you're dense.," Hazamada groaned, "He said he had just finished working right? That has to be it!" The smallest of the three carefully walked up behind them, "Perhaps you should leave it alone. This is his livelihood after all." "You two don't get it, these manuscripts are top secret before they hit printers! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!," the dark haired teen laughed and pulled the papers out. The smallest child backed up, she had a bad feeling. Something was telling her to leave. She felt Rohan's energy waiting on the other side of the door though. It would be dangerous to leave outright if he was a stand user. The two teens were completely enthralled in the story before them.

The little girl stepped back once more and ran into Rohan's legs when he entered the studio. "So, it seems that my manuscript was compatible with you two. Too bad your friend did not even look.," the voice of the Manga artist spoke, "But since you viewed my work, my manuscript, your hearts have been opened to my ability, Heaven's Door." So he was a stand user! (Y/n) jumped away from the green haired Mangaka then jumped right at him, only to be caught by the man. Rohan tsked at her attack, "You seemed to be the one most on guard, just like the other two times I saw you walk by, with a dog then that man." The plum haired girl kicked at him before hearing Koichi's scream. The silver haired teen's hand had peeled open like a book. His whole body had become a book. Rohan kept the pillar girl outstretched from his body, she was dangling by the back of her dress.
"The human body records everything that happens to it. Everything from the time you were born. To read that information, I shall turn all three of you into books.," the man explained to the terrified and angry children, "Books that your lives have been recorded in." Hazamada ran to the door but was pacified by being turned into a book as well. Rohan walked to the desk and picked up a piece of the manuscript with the thrashing girl in his hand. "You'll piss off my bodyguard if anything happens to me! It'll be your fault if he goes on a rampage!," the red eyed child hissed. The green eyed man put the manuscript if front of her and she felt her skin open up after reading it, she went limp.

Rohan dropped the girl and knelt by Koichi, "Don't worry, this will not hurt you." "Why are you doing this?!," Koichi demanded. "For the reality. The author's sense of reality is important for making manga.," The man answered, "I will read all of your lives and learn of realistic experiences that can help me make better manga and even wonderful characters. You can't get this from interviews! You're going to tell me about your lives, 100% real, as if I had experienced it for myself." The man read about Koichi first. Koichi was born premature and had to be in an incubator, he was an honest young man who loves his family. Rohan got excited when he read about his ability, "What is this ability?! Echoes?! Someone other than me has an ability like this?! All three of you?! And more?!" Rohan kept reading and found the name for the phenomenon, Stand Users. The Mangaka kept reading about the stands and stand users that Koichi met, he recognized the dog as the one that the little girl was walking. He stopped and commended Koichi on being an incredible source of entertainment, the green haired Mangaka flipped another page and gasped, "Pillar man, Santana?! What is this?!"
The man's green eyes shot over to the little girl behind him as she was crawling away, he caught her and started reading hers. "Born 4217 years ago?! Mother is named Ivory, a human woman, Father is the leader of the pillar men, Kars?! You're just as entertaining as Koichi! Such a small girl went through so much!," the man exclaimed, "Mother was murdered, you were also premature. Kars had to feed you his own blood to keep you alive. Beloved by your uncles and bodyguard. Training hard under Esidisi and Wamuu. This Santana is your guard. Very violent. You are a kind and gentle person, yet very vindictive and protective when the humans you love are threatened. You are much stronger than a human and are dangerous. You are also afraid of being alone, especially after seeing your first adopted family die in front of you over one hundred years before."

The man flipped through the pages, reading about her experiences and her family. Her friends. He was very interested in her knowledge. "What are you going to do to us?," Koichi asked the man while shaking in horror. Rohan looked back at him, "I am going to take your memories to use as material. Yours especially, Koichi. (Y/n) here has had a fantastic life that would be good for later on in the series." "Let us go!," Koichi demanded and summoned his stand, "Or I will make you!" "You're going to try and attack me with echoes? You would not. It says right here that you are timid. However, I'd be more scared of the stand that (y/n)-San has. It may not show itself just yet, but Avalon has a lot more destructive capabilities than your stand.," Rohan chuckled, "But you do have the courage to overcome your timidity. How wonderful, I'm sure readers would love you, you and her both!"
Koichi tried to attack Rohan, but the attack missed. Everyone was confused until Rohan showed them why. He had put a safety Lock on all of them. 'I cannot attack Rohan Kishibe.' Rohan was free to take whatever the hell he wanted from them, and they could not fight back. He knew everything about them. The green haired man took a sketchbook out and draw and quick sketch of Koichi and his stand, then of (y/n) and her fallen family. The sketch was very good, yet the circumstances were terrifying. The plum haired girl's heart was pounding as Rohan reached for her again...

Moon out... stars out...
A pain In the head of a plum haired little girl as she wandered aimlessly her throat was sore as she called again for the only names she had in her head, hoping for an answer.
"Dio! Jonathan!," her voice was hoarse as she stumbled along, tired. She felt herself be picked up, panic set in as she did not know the scent that she smelled, she thrashed when she saw the man with vermillion hair holding her, "Let me Go! JONATHAN! DIO!"
The face of the man holding her became sad as he carried her to a small house and knocked on the door. A boy who looked a little like Jonathan came out, the big man placed the girl in his arms. "Take her. Something is wrong.," The man said and walked away with a heartbroken expression.
