Chapter Seventy-six: Normal morning in Morioh

Josuke and his mother listened to his stepsister as she told them about her adventures traveling around. The child was happy to talk about the this she saw during her travels. The plum haired pillar sat on her stepbrother's lap the entire time. Her little arms held her doll as she talked. She did not need to hold back after she found out Tomoko knew, she could speak freely. She freely spoke about her time in Britain with Jonathan and Dio before her blond brother turned himself into a vampire. She told them about her family and how weird her uncles could be, plus how incredible her father was. She did not spare any story from them, even telling them about how cute Jotaro was as a boy.
(Y/n) was smiling by the end of it. Tomoko also had a smile, she learned a bit about this child and learned about Josuke's heritage, the Joestars. The plum haired child yawned as she became sleepy, showing her little teeth. Iggy had a doggy smile before yawning as well. "I'll take you to school with me tomorrow.," Josuke smiled as he got up to go to bed. The little girl was in his arms as he did. "Night mom.," The teen spoke to his mother as she finished her drink. The woman set her cup down, "Good night you two, sleep well." The British-Japanese teen walked to his room and went to bed.

(Y/n) snuggled into his arms, laying on his chest as he slept. He was nice and warm. She small pillar snuggled and settled down, feeling Josuke's pectoral muscle under her squished cheek. Tomoko looked into the room where the two children and the dog were. She gave a smile bafore going to bed, not seeing the stand that hovered over the girl and Josuke. He examined Josuke, he recognized the boy as the son of his old enemy. Yet, seeing his daughter so trustingly be vulnerable with this boy, he wondered why. What made a human so special. Was it because he was part of the human family she grew so close to? Or was it some act of fate that made these two come together. Avalon felt a tug on the cloth that wrapper around him and looked back to see the dog was awake and wagging at him.
A big grin was on the dog's face. Avalon knew that his daughter trusted this dog as well. Iggy had a grin on his muzzle. Carefully, he tapped Iggy's head with the joint of his main wing. Iggy panted and stretched before going back to sleep. Avalon, Kars, looked back to his daughter, he knew he could not get too far from her because of their small range of effect. The stand used his wing to brush some hair from the girl's face. She was peacefully sleeping. The moon shone through the window, reflecting off of her horns. The silver horns sparkled in the soft moonlight. The stand disappeared after knowing he was not needed.

The warm sun woke Josuke up the next morning, the child on his chest was still sleeping. Her little face was adorable. The teen chuckled and carefully got up with her still clinging to him. Her little clawed hands gripped his shirt tightly. Josuke washed his face and brushed his hair to get ready for school. (Y/n)'s little red eyes opened as she heard him humming. "You awake, little monkey?," Josuke teased, "You're clinging to me tighter than velcro." He got a small glare as the little girl climbed up his chest to his shoulders, she pulled his cheeks to make him smile. "Laughing now, funny guy?," She asked. "Ow owowow!," Josuke winced, "Hey, stop that!" His cheeks were let go as the little girl hugged his head. "I guess you don't want to have a milk carton when we have lunch today.," the British-Japanese teen said as his sister gripped onto his head with her tiny hands.
"No, I want milk!," the girl said as she looked at her brother. "Then stop being a monkey!," Josuke said and got the pillar child off of him, "It hurts when you pull at my face and hair." The teen held the girl out in front of him, her little legs dangled as she giggled at him trying to make a mad face at her. Her little arms reached out to him. He put her on the ground, "I know a trap when I see one, go get ready. I'm taking you with me."

(Y/n) ran to get one of her dresses that she had left there and put it on, a cute flower sundress. The tiny pillar slid on her sandals and ran to see Tomoko, she tripped on the way. A pair of hands caught her and set her upright. The child looked back and saw nobody. It had to be a one of her ghost followers. But they usually stick around to tell her something. Odd. Was it her stand? She was puzzled but ran to Tomoko. The human woman was making coffee and saw the little girl walk into the kitchen, "Good morning, did you sleep well?" "I did.," (y/n) replied. The woman smiled down to the girl as she flipped some eggs onto the platen for breakfast. The little pillar child hopped up on a chair to watch her cook breakfast for herself and Josuke.
"How are Jotaro and Santana?," Tomoko asked. "They are good. So are Kakyoin and Caesar.," (y/n) answered, "We've been having a great time!" "Caesar? Who is he?," the woman asked. "Caesar is Joseph's friend from many many years ago!," the little girl chirped happily, "Caesar and Joseph fought against my father and Uncles!" Tomoko listened to the little girl as she cooked, "He did?" "Yes. He was very cool. His grandfather and Joseph's grandfather, Jonathan, were friends as well.," the plum haired child spoke, "Unfortunately, Caesar's grandfather never got to meet him, William was killed by a bad man when he and Jonathan were fighting to save a village from a evil man."

Tomoko saw the little girl's face fell when she spoke of William's death. The woman knew that this child saw the death with her own eyes after seeing that expression. The Japanese woman placed the breakfast plates down. (Y/n) felt arms around her, Tomoko was giving her a hug. "I know that you are not human and have seen things that I can't imagine, but you cannot keep doing this to yourself.," she spoke to the child, "You need help." "That's the thing, nobody can. Nobody knows just how much I have seen. But don't worry, I will be fine.," the girl smiled. Tomoko let the child out of the embrace so the girl could answer the door.
The tiny pillar looked up at Okuyasu, the teen looked left and right before looking down. "Oh! It's just (y/n), I thought that there was a ghost here for a second.," the dull-witted teen said, "That would be scary." "You lived with the ghost of my stepbrother before he passed on.," the little girl commented. "I did?," Okuyasu asked. The pillar girl was pretty shocked by how dense he was, 'Can he even swim with this density?' The teen crouched down to her height, "Is Josuke ready to go to school today?" "Almost.," the red eyed child said, "He's still brushing his hair."

Okuyasu stood up and looked in, "I smell something good. Is his mom making breakfast?" "She just finished.," (y/n) spoke, "Are you waiting outside or?" "I'll come inside if you don't mind.," Okuyasu said as he stepped in. The plum haired girl closed the door and watched Okuyasu go say hello to Tomoko. The small pillar got her little bags and looked at the small accessories that she kept in them. Either the butterfly clips or the flower clips would work with what she was wearing. But which should she do? She set the clips off to the side and combed her hair, getting the tangles out. The plum haired girl set her comb down and reached for her clips, only to find that they were gone.
'Where did they go?,' she thought to herself before feeling her hair being moved then feeling the bejeweled clips being set into her hair. The girl felt the clips be put on and the feeling of someone there subside. She looked around. Again, nobody there. Was it a random ghost that came to say hi? Or was it Esidisi trying to scare her again? She picked up a mirror and looked at herself in it. Her hair was put up in a cute syle, both the flower and butterfly clips were in her hair.

"Did you just do your hair? That's adorable.," the little girl heard Tomoko ask. The child looked at the woman's brown eyes before looking back to her reflection, "I did not do it." "You did not? Was it Josuke or Okuyasu?," the Japanese woman asked. "A ghost.," was the simple answer that the child gave the mother of her stepbrother. Josuke and Okuyasu slipped by Tomoko. Josuke motioned for the little girl to come with him, Iggy trotted beside them. "Bye mom, I'm going to school now!," Josuke said and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek before leaving. (Y/n) hopped up and gave the woman a kiss too before running after her stepbrother. The pillar child hopped up onto Josuke's shoulder and sat on it happily.
"Hey Josuke, the weird things that have been happening at my place have stopped. Dad is no longer scared.," Okuyasu said. "Really?," Josuke asked, "I thought (y/n) took care of your poltergeist problem a while ago." "Poltergeist?," Okuyasu inquired, "I had a ghost?!" 'Wow, he is very dense. He would be a very stupid dog.,' the pillar child thought to herself. She realized she was thinking normally. There was no thoughts of the serial killer. This felt like another normal day for her and her family. She waved to Koichi as the small teen joined the group.

Iggy followed the group to the high school, (y/n) hopped off of Josuke's shoulders. Her crouched close to the girl's height. "Come back at lunchtime. We'll have lunch with you.," the teen grinned. He was close to her height and giving her a wide, closed eyed grin. He felt tiny lips on his nose. "Okay! Have a good day at school Josuke!," the tiny child chirped. The people who saw this chuckled at how cute this interaction was, especially the female students. Koichi and Okuyasu also snickered at Josuke's face that was shocked by the sudden kiss on the nose from the tiny girl. She stuck her little pink tongue out at him playfully, an expression of playfulness and a little smugness was on her face.
Josuke made gabby hands at her, "Ate you asking for tickles?" This made the plum haired girl back up quickly and Josuke laugh at her reaction. They teased each other like siblings would. Koichi looked at the time and told them it was time to go to class. The teens waved goodbye to the little girl and left her and the dog.
(Y/n) looked at the dog sitting by her, "What shall we do now, Iggy?" The Boston Terrier looked up at her with a grinning muzzle as he panted. "We should do something that won't be too hard for an elderly dog.," the little girl thought and heard a growl from the dog. He was growling and sand was swirling around him.

"No, Iggy, not again. This is a clean dress.," the little girl said as she backed up. Iggy had a smirk on his muzzle and a glint in his blue eyes. "Iggy, no!," (y/n) said as she started running. The dog started running after her, barking at her. His paws clicked on the pavement as her sandals tapped. She squealed as she got cornered by Iggy as he used the fool to trap her with a sand figure of Jotaro. "Iggy, this is not funny.," the child whined as he laughed at her.

"You want coffee gum?"
