Chapter ninety-one: Train troubles.

The gang was heading to the train station. The boss had left something there for them to use to transport Trish safely. Giorno was driving while Abbacchio was in the passenger's seat. Bucciarati sat in the second row with (y/n) and Narancia as Fugo, Mista and Trish were in the back. The plum haired Pillar girl had her Seat belt on and was playing with her two toys as the humans around her talked. Abbacchio's wrist was hurting from his hand being reattached to his arm, so it did not help that Narancia threw the Key they had found at him. Bucciarati covered the little girl's ears when his friend swore loudly. The girl hugged the Plush animal Abbacchio got her as the adults talked. She had woken up on Abbacchio's chest earlier, the man had already woken but was letting her hug onto him more. The tiny girl looked at Abbacchio's hair that peeked over the seat. She had noticed the nobody was using a seat belt besides her.
"Buckle up!," She fussed at her adopted father. "Excuse me?," Bruno asked the child. "Buckle up.," the little girl repeated, "It's not safe to not wear a seat belt." She heard a huff from Abbacchio before hearing a click from where he was, "Buckle your seatbelts, Dumbasses. You heard her." The little girl heard clicks of seatbelts around her. The small child had a big smile on her face.

"The inscription on the key says that whatever the boss left for us is on a drinking fountain with a turtle. The sixth platform.," Abbacchio stated and gave the key to Bucciarati. "Hm. The train station will take us to Venezia after going to Rome.," Bucciarati stated, "The missions from the boss will stop after we give Trish to him." "Venezia? The boss is there?," Narancia asked. 'So is Air Supplina island. I should go see if Caesar is there. The island would be a good hiding place for us if something goes wrong.,' (y/n) thought to herself. Her red eyes cut to Giorno, she saw his green eyes look at her in the mirror before looking back to the road. 'He wants to know more than what I want to give.,' the girl thought, 'I don't know if he even deserves to know.' She felt a finger press into her cheek. Narancia was poking her soft face, "What's that look for? It was kind of scary." Narancia started pulling her cheek, causing the little girl to whine a bit. The rubbery skin stretched with his pulling, snapping back once he let go. The violet eyed teen chuckled from watching her rub her cheeks.
The little girl smacked Narancia's hand away as he tried to poke her cheeks again. The girl pouted as he kept at it, "The last person who kept pulling my cheeks died. His body's ashes were scattered across the sands of the Egyptian desert." Narancia let the girl's cheek go. The little girl kept playing with the toys she had. She barely listened to the others talk. She felt the van lurch as Giorno swerved to avoid getting hit by a reckless driver.

(Y/n) heard Mista yelling, asking for forgiveness for Fugo. The little girl looked through the crack in the seat and saw that they did not have their seatbelts on. She puffed her cheeks up. "This wouldn't have happened of you just put on the seatbelt!," the little girl pouted. Mista and Fugo were both smacked on the head by something. "Ow!," Mista whined. The tiny pillar sat back in her seat and waited as Giorno drove. After a while, they made it to the train station and got out. "(Y/n), use your horns.," Bucciarati told the little girl. Fugo helped Trish out of the van and they all walked to the train station together. "Besides us, I sense a few other stands.," the little girl spoke as she was picked up by Abbacchio and set on his shoulder, "Be careful." The little girl wrapped her cloak around her and fastened her bags to the belt of her traditional outfit. The child's red eyes scanned around. The gang walked into the train station and went to the sixth platform. In the drinking fountain was a pond turtle.
Abbacchio let the little girl down to touch and play with the turtle a bit. The little reptile sat on the drinking fountain as the small child petted its head lightly with a tiny finger. Bucciarati was trying to find what the key went to. He was not having much luck, "Go back to Abbacchio, (y/n). I'll find what the key goes to." The little girl obeyed and said goodbye to the little turtle before going back to Abbacchio, she ran past the Golden haired Giorno, their eyes meeting for only a moment before she jumped up onto Abbacchio's shoulder. The yellow and violet eyed man looked up to the girl and gave her the plush toy back.

Stand energy approached them. Two users, no, three! Three unknown stand users! Bucciarati ran in quickly. The next moment, they were in a spacious rooms instead of a cramped train hallway. The stand energy surrounded everyone. Abbacchio looked to make sure (y/n) was not hurt. She was not, thankfully. The former policeman placed her down so she could look around. She hopped on the sofa and stretched out on it, "Soft!" "The key fit into the turtle's back, unlocking its stand.," Bucciarati spoke, "Turtles don't make noise and like to stay out of sight, so this works well for our needs." "It's like a spaceship!," Narancia cheered. Fugo and Giorno were Checking the furniture as Abbacchio looked into the fridge, "Drinks, all cold. There is ice here too. The boss must have done this to make sure we were comfortable on our way here." Giorno sat down on the sofa, next to (y/n). The tiny pillar sat up to give him room. "We're going to be safe in here as we travel.," Bucciarati said, "Get some rest. We may need it if an enemy arises, some of you are still nursing wounds."
The green eyed teen looked at the little girl beside him as the others set up shifts to watch the ceiling to check for enemies. "I saw an old photograph in your bag." "The answers you want me to give you... I don't know if I can trust you with them.," the red eyed girl responded. "Does it have to do with what you know about my father?," the teen asked. He did not get an answer but saw her look away from him, her face held an expression that was a mix of sorrow and anger. She moved to the far end of the sofa, where Abbacchio sat to take a nap. Fugo sat in the area between Abbacchio and Girono.

Abbacchio did not push the little girl away as she leaned against him. Silence settled over the room. The ones on the couch started to nap as the others got comfortable elsewhere. It was a little while of peacefulness. Bucciarati and Trish were enjoying cold drinks as Narancia and Mista were looking at the ceiling. (Y/n) was roused by Narancia's yells, he sounded different. The red eyes of the little girl looked and saw An old man wearing Narancia's clothes. He smelled like Narancia, his energy was Narancia's! Something happened to Narancia! She was about to get up but felt a rough and wrinkled hand over her. She looked up and saw Abbacchio was asleep, but he was old too! Everyone was getting older! Mista's dark eyebrows were turning grey. Wrinkles were appearing on the others. Trish was looking around panicked before looking at the tiny girl who did not look like she aged at all.
Bucciarati looked to the tiny girl as well, "Of course You're immune to this. Your father lived thousands of years." (Y/n) carefully got out of Abbacchio's hold and caught Narancia as he fell. His skin was wrinkled and brittle. He was brittle. Bucciarati could see in her eyes that something about this was disturbing her greatly. The little girl did what she could to help Narancia be comfortable as he was crying for Bucciarati in fear of his own mortality. The ohers wondered how this effect, how this stand worked. That was the only explanation for this.

There was a stand user on board the train, indiscriminately attacking everyone with his stand effect. Causing everyone to age at a rapid rate. Bucciarati, Trish and Mista were not as badly as effected. Giorno was able to think of a reason for this: Women age different from men and are more resistant to temperature fluctuations thanks to the fat in their bodies. So it was temperature that helped to cause these effects. Trish added that only she and Bucciarati had something cold to drink, dropping their body temperature. Mista had been in the fridge as the others aged. Trish tested her theory by placing an ice cube on Narancia, this made the touched place go back to normal. (Y/n) saw this, she remembered that there was an ice machine on board in the dining car. If she went to get some ice, she could slow the aging process down! She already knew she was immune to aging as her lifespan was over a thousand times longer than a human's.
She jumped up to the ceiling and exited the room. She crawled out from under the driver's chair and looked around. She found the corpse of the driver. The driver had a hole on his cheek, like he had been caught by a fish hook. There was more than one assassin. She had to be careful. She clutched the stuffed animal she held, she had left her doll with Abbacchio. She fished out the thing she hid in her stuffed animal, the phone she stole from Formaggio. Hopefully she can use it to see where these assassins were and what they were doing. She opened the phone and checked the messages. There was a message from one of the assassins that said he was on the train with a newbie assassin. The message from their boss was reminding them to look out for the creature that was with Bucciarati, he was talking about (y/n)!

(Y/n) hid the phone back in the stuffed animal and walked through the train. Corpses of people aged until they died littered the moving train. A mist hovered in the hair, it carried the power of a stand with it. The sight of these people aged made the tiny pillar sick, reminding her of the mortality of humans. So easily their lives slip away, their bodies age and become brittle. She heard the crying of one, a child, crying for his mother to wake up. The little girl wanted to help him, his mother's corpse still held the crying child. The plum haired pillar could not help him. She followed the signs back to the dining car and heard the whining of a young man, "Man, he's so intense, using his dangerous stand like that." She opened the door and slipped into the dining car, corpses and effected humans were around the car. She sensed two stands. One from the neckless man at the bar who was chewing ice and one further down in the car. She sensed cold on the bar, there was an ice tray from the fridge there.
Carefully, she reached up to take the half full ice tray, only to get her hand grabbed. She, without thinking, used her flesh meld to slip out of his grip. The neckless guy peeked over the bar and saw the tiny child holding a stuffed animal, unaffected by the stand. His hair made his head look like a pineapple or a zucchini. The young man stared at her red eyes before looking at her gold accessories and silver horns. The little girl ran when she saw him get distracted by the fishing pole on he bar pulling. She went to ice machine to grab a bag of ice, she was tripped by the limb of something and fell to the floor. She dropped the plush she held, the phone she stole clattered out of the pocket she made in it.
