Polnareff wrapped his wounds up with the fabric he tore from DIO's curtains. 'Dio will be a bit mad at this.,' (y/n) thought as she helped the Frenchman to bandage his wounds. She heard footsteps as Polnareff tested the bandage work that he had done. He stood and placed her on his shoulder before looking up the stairs to see DIO himself. The blond vampire had a smile on his face as he looked down at the two, "Ah, Polnareff, it has been a while. And I see that my sister is keeping you company." "DIO, So you finally come out of hiding.," the Frenchman replied to the vampire. DIO's amber eyes seemed almost amused at the Frenchman before him, he gave a small and condescending applause to the Frenchman.
"Congratulations, Polnareff, you have avenged your sister, and have traveled from the far East to make it here.," DIO spoke. Polnareff, ever sharp, gave his reply, "Of you want to give me a prize for that, how about you give me your life?" The silver haired male spat blood onto one of the curtains that DIO had hanging on the stairwell. (Y/n) could see that DIO's eyes narrowed a bit from that action. DIO laughed a little and put a finger up into the air, "I'll give you a chance, Polnareff. Go down two steps and I will allow you to rejoin my side. Or ascend and face certain doom."

(Y/n) clutched onto Polnareff's shoulder strap and looked up at her vampire stepbrother, his gaze was sharp and leering. "When I first met you, I was scared and you took advantage of that. You made me a loser. But after traveling with Mr. Joestar and the others, I am no longer afraid of you.," Polnareff spoke and ascended the stairs. He was at the bottom of the stairs the next second, (y/n) was being held by her brother. She felt a stand energy from her brother. DIO was laughing at the scene before him, "I see, I see, you do wish to join me and my sister." The silver haired Frenchman tried again and again to ascend the stairs, only to be placed back where he started.
"What?! I knew I took a step!," the frustrated Frenchman cried out. "What's wrong Polnareff?," DIO asked and patted the hair of the little girl in his arms, "You seem to be losing your composure. Doesn't one lose their composure when they are afraid?" The silver haired man's blue eyes looked up to the vampire above him in pure shock. "Or perhaps, that you know in your heart that you must climb up, but your body is so terrified that it subconsciously made you go down?," the vampire inquired, obviously toying with the man before him.

The Frenchman was trying to make sense of what was happening and looked up to see the tiny girl jump out of the vampire's hold and try to get back to him, only to be right back in the vampire's arms in a somewhat more secure grip. DIO patted the child's head before running his claws along her cheek, "Polnareff, have you considered why humans with to live?" He walked over to the throne chair with the plum haired girl in his arms, "Humans live, Hoping to conquer fears and anxieties to attain a peace of mind." The vampire sat down in the chair and sat the girl on his lap, his hand running through her long and wavy plum violet hair. "They seek fame, control others and search for wealth just to attain that piece of mind. Friendship and marriage are also pursued as a way to attain a peace of mind. When a Human does anything, they may claim that it is rhe right thing to do or that it was for love or justice is justice fooling themselves, it is done for their own gain.," the blond man continued as he patted the child.
(Y/n) did not do anything to escape, she knew that he was doing something to keep her with him. She felt his clawed finger poke into her soft cheek again before she was lulled into leaning against his wide yet stolen chest, his almost hypnotic voice spoke to Polnareff, asking him to rejoin the vampire and cut ties with the Joestars.

(Y/n) did not know what kind of emotion she saw in Polnareff's eyes, but she knew it was not the emotion that would allow him to bend to DIO. "I died once before, but I will not die again until I figure out your stand and take (y/n) back to where she belongs!," Polnareff shouted and lept up onto the landing like a true knight in shining armor, like the fairytales told of. Polnareff's Chariot charged towards DIO to attack. The vampire stood and held the little girl up to his chest, "I have no choice now. You will just have to die, Polnareff." "So, that is The World? Bring it on!," the silver haired Frenchman shouted as his stand and DIO's were about to fight.
The fight was interrupted by the wall being smashed down, It was Jotaro, Kakyoin and Joseph! Light streamed into the darkness from the hole. DIO's grip on the little pillar tightened a bit, making the child squeak. The three looked up in time to see DIO disappear into the darkness and a flash of red and plum violet in his arms. "Too soon. I will end this after sundown, (y/n).," the vampire spoke softly as he retreated into the room with his coffin in it. The girl was squished against his broad chest as they hid inside the coffin. His hand rubbed her back to tell her to be quiet. She could hear the voices of her friends and the whiny vampire. DIO made a 'Shh' noise when she wanted to call to them. The coffin they were in began to open.

They were outside the coffin in the next instant, DIO used his stand again. (Y/n) could feel the massive oppressive aura he was letting out to scare the others into running. And run they did, they all jumped out of the window to escape certain death. DIO laughed after they ran, "So they decided to run instead of facing me? How cowardly. But it is sundown, I will be able to hunt them once the sun is completely set." The vampire set the child down and killed the vampire in the coffin, "Useless fool. It seems like only you and I remain, (y/n). Although, you do not use your stand in combat. Or are you unable to bring out your stand?"
(Y/n) did not respond as she looked out the window and sensed where Joseph and the others were. "(Y/n), come, I will need a witness to my rise to power.," DIO said and motioned for the little child to follow. The plum haired girl followed, she knew he would just use his stand to retrieve her is she did not. He brought her with him to choose from his wardrobe what would suit him best. The pillar girl's red eyes looked around before landing on a cape and pointing to it. DIO did not see her pointing so she pulled on the Cape until he looked at it, "What a wonderful choice. Something fit for the soon to be king."

Once the sun had disappeared below the horizon, DIO left the mansion with (y/n) perched on his shoulder. She noticed that Iggy and Avdol had both disappeared, it was strange. But that was not her main concern at that point. She had to find a way to help Jotaro and the others defeat her brother. She knew she had a great emotional attachment to DIO, but that was from when he was younger, before he used the mask. They were watching what was happening below them from their perch on the tower of DIO's mansion. DIO made the little girl hold onto him as he jumped off of the roof to pursue Joseph who was in a truck. He would have to have a vehicle as well.
The vampire strolled along the street with the girl on his shoulder. He had a hand up to support her. The lights that had turned on during the night lit up the city in a beautiful display. He had the proud swagger of someone who was extremely powerful and they knew it. His cape billowed behind him as he walked, people stepped aside for him. His eyes cut to a car that was pretty fancy looking. DIO ran his clawed hand along the shiny policed finish, "The automobile, Its power and speed is impressive. I am familiar with the horse-drawn carriages from one hundred years ago..." "Many things have changed, Dio.," the little girl on his shoulder said as she saw a man aggressively approach her and her stepbrother. The child hopped down from his shoulder as the man grabbed DIO's hand and yelled at him for touching the car.

DIO quickly and mercilessly broke his arm and picked up the little girl before entering the car, he sat the little girl on his lap as he settle in the car next to the wealthy owner of the vehicle. Apparently the owner was a senator of the United States. The senator looked to be a little amused at how bold DIO was. He also was just as amused to see a cute little girl with the blond that was in his car. DIO gripped his front teeth and pulled them out, "Shut up and get into the front seat, you are going to drive." The vampire held his stepsister with his other hand. The senator got really angry, "Do you know who I am?! You'll get a lifetime sentence in jail for this, you hear me?! A lifetime-"
The man's speech was cut off by DIO grabbing his nose and throwing him into the front seat, "Drive already. I'm getting impatient." (Y/n)'s small hands clung to her brother's stolen body, she felt bad for what Jonathan had to go through and prayed that he was watching over her and the Joestars from heaven. The senator fled from the vehicle, only to be back in the car. DIO had used his stand yet again. The vampire was calmly rubbing his sister's cheek with his thumb. The senator tried again and again to escape. DIO never let him.

"Hurry up and drive. I need you to catch up to that truck.," the vampire spoke, "If you fail, I will not hesitate to kill you." (Y/n)'s soft little cheek squished against his solid pectorals. She felt her brother's breathing and heartbeat. The human finally grabbed the steering wheel, "Y-Yes sir." He drove off as the little girl heard him lose his mind. DIO's clawed thumb kept stroking (y/n)'s cheek. She could kill him now and be done with it, but he was fast and would react to it. She was barely able to get between him and Jonathan one hundred years ago to protect Jonathan. "What is on your mind, (y/n)? Are you deciding whether or not to try and kill me now, hm? Are you afraid for the lives of the Joestars?," DIO asked with a patronizing tone that one would use with children, "All of this will be over soon. But, if you do try to kill me, I'll be forced to make you go back into hibernation. Neither of us want that, now do we?"
His other hand reached up and touched the tip of her little silvery horn as let out a low chuckle, "I'll have to introduce you to some of my friends after this is over." The vampire continued to hold the girl as the human drove. His grip was not harsh, yet was not lenient either. He wanted her to stay put beside him. (Y/n) hid her face into DIO's chest when he ordered the human to drive on the sidewalk and kill the pedestrians there. The vampire rubbed her soft hair as she hid from that sight.

"You react like one would do when they see an animal get hurt and you cannot stop it.," DIO hummed, "Isn't that just like you though? Keeping humans with you as pets so you don't get lonely in your long life?" The little girl puffed her cheeks up in annoyance at his teasing. The senator was acting like he had completely lost his mind, he was begging to beg for his life now that they had caught up to the truck. He asked if DIO was going to spare his life now that he had done what the vampire wanted. The answer was a resounding no. DIO told the man to get closer. If he got within ten meters, he could use his stand, The World, to end the ones in the truck.
The girl could feel that it was Kakyoin and Joseph in the truck. She did not sense Jotaro or Polnareff. (Y/n) looked out the window in time to see a green humanoid creature come from the truck and fly towards them. Its body held a rippling pattern that looked to be like water, it had a mask and yellow eyes. The energy that it had was Kakyoin's! This was Hierophant Green! DIO looked out the window, "Kakyoin's Hierophant..."
A stream of water splashed between the hands of the stand before shining gemstones emerged from the stream, the Emerald Splash! The little plum haired girl heard Kakyoin's voice from the stand, "Kakyoin!" DIO was not worried. He held the girl close against him and flicked one of the emeralds, causing it to ricochet and knock the other Gemstones away. The little pillar girl was safe huddled close to her stepbrother.

Hierophant Green shot more emeralds and DIO deflected them again, breaking the roof of the car off. The vampire called out his stand and (y/n)'s red eyes watched as The vampire punched Hierophant green away. "He was too far. I accidentally punched him out of my range.," the blond vampire sighed and patted the fluffy wavy hair of the little girl. The child saw that the signposts that Kakyoin's stand knocked down was coming right for them, only for them to be cut and knocked out of the way. Dio stopped patting the girl's head, "Hm? I think I saw your stand manifest for a second there. How interesting. But, it is time to end this foolishness."
DIO grabbed the senator by the head and flung him at the truck they were pursuing. The vampire had the little girl in his other arm and landed on the ground lightly after jumping out of the car. The truck that Joseph and Kakyoin were in crashed into a building. DIO had the child climb onto his back as he approached the truck to check for bodies, he found none save for the dead senator. "Where are they?," he asked the girl and got his answer when she patted his head and pointed to the rooftops, "Thank you, little sister."

The blond vampire jumped up onto the rooftops to pursue the two, "Looks to be only Kakyoin and Joseph. Which means that Jotaro and Polnareff are around somewhere, perhaps to attack me from behind." The vampire chuckled in his evil plotting that was within his foul mind, "What a useless endeavor." DIO floated down from his place to stand of a rooftop, only he was met with a sudden burst of emeralds. The vampire quickly deflected them. He kept moving to avoid the Emeralds, but more and more emeralds kept coming. He finally got to the top of a building tower and saw that Hierophant was spread over the entire place of twenty meters as a web.
(Y/n)'s red eyes looked at the he beautiful green glistening stand that surrounded them. She felt DIO's annoyance at Kakyoin. It was a barrier that activates when touched. Kakyoin set it out to sense both DIO and The World! (Y/n) was happy to see Kakyoin. He had scars over his eyes. She felt Kakyoin's stand power up and launched herself from her brother's shoulder with a force that removed his cape, emeralds flew at her vampire brother from all sides as he announced the arrival of his stand.

"THE WORLD!"

(Y/n) saw Kakyoin fly back. He landed in the water tower. He had been disemboweled and his spine was severed. The little girl absorbed as much of his blood as she could and pulled him out of the tower to save him if she could. Of only she had the knowledge her father and uncles had with dealing with injuries such as these. She would only be able to restore minor function to him and repair him enough to get him to a hospital, but then he would have to get more sustained treatment. But, she did not have much time.
She felt his left fading before her. Kakyoin's heart was still beating. His eyes were losing their luster. He was becoming pale as the child tried her best to fix him roughly. Kakyoin looked to the clock tower beside them. The girl felt him summon up his Hierophant green and unleashed one more emerald splash. He went limp after that. DIO chased after Joseph, leaving the little girl behind with the dying teen.
"Kak...yoin...," the girl hiccuped and removed her hands from his partially repaired torso, "Don't go." His eyes were still fading as his face held a gentle smile, he was looking right at her. "I'm happy... I met... all of you...," the teen said as reached his hand up to her but it fell halfway. His eyes were dull. The little girl felt her throat burn as painful memories resurfaced, "Not again. Not again. Please don't leave me alone. I don't like being alone. You have people who love you. You have your parents, you have your friends, you have everything that I wish I still had! You can't die now and leave them alone!"

She plunged her hand back into his torso, "Live dammit! I don't want you to leave everyone alone! Don't be another reminder for me! I don't want to be left alone with the memory of not being able to save you!"
In that moment, she did not feel alone as her hands were dragged into his body.
