Chapter Forty-nine: To the next adventure

(Y/n) traveled around more for around eleven years. She moved between Japan, France, Italy and America. She refused to go to Egypt for personal Traumatic reasons. But, she was able to see Avdol when he came to visit Polnareff in France and they were able to catch up. She always went to visit Kakyoin when she was in Japan, she would sit on his hospital bed and talk to him, hoping he would hear her in his coma. She would not give up on him. She had to wake him up. She watched her family and friends grow and become good people.

During a trip to Italy, she found her friend, Haruno. He moved there from Japan. She would try to make him smile whenever she saw him after that. She would take him to restaurants and let him try foods until he found what he really liked. She did her best to make his life better. Something about him was familiar.

She went to America to visit her adopted parents and found that Joseph's mind was starting to slip. Something that would have been avoided, had he just used hamon more. This made the little girl angered. So she went to Florida to visit her nephew Jotaro and see his wife and newborn daughter. The little baby girl was so cute. So small and squishy. (Y/n) got to hold the baby girl, Jolyne, after asking Jotaro and his wife if it was okay. Jolyne was just so cute. The pillar girl just wanted to hug her more, but she had to be careful since Jolyne was a baby.
(Y/n) thought Jolyne's little eyes were so pretty. The young pillar was sad when she had to give Jolyne back to her mom. But she was happy that Jotaro had a family. Before she left the happy family the little pillar left a present of butterfly accessories for Jolyne for when she was older. It was time for her to go back to Japan. She would come back to visit Jolyne.

Japan, 1998 December.

Sterile white walls, a solemn reminder. Sounds of the respirator and the heart monitor. Red hair lay long on the pillow that the comatose patient was on. His violet eyes had not opened yet. (Y/n) sat on his bed and watched his face. There was nothing left for her to talk to him about, she had nothing left to say.
The doctors and nurses told her that he had only woken up a total of seven times, only to go back into his coma from the trauma of his condition. It saddened her to see her friend in such a horrid state. If only she had a way to help him. His parents had already come and gone, saying hello to the child that they had grown familiar with over the years.

"Kakyoin, I swear. I'll find a way to save you from this.," the little girl said, "You can wake up again. You can go see everyone. We can do all those things you wanted to do before." His face never changed. Her heart felt like someone had a vice grip on it, it felt so painful. She laid her head on his chest to hear the heartbeat inside. "My only wish for the new year is to find a way to wake you up and restore you.," the little girl said quietly to her friend.
Kakyoin's face was peaceful as he lay there. No pain. No sadness. Just locked inside a world in his mind. (Y/n) wanted to take him out of that world and return him to his family and friends. She got up and said goodbye to him before leaving, "Merry Christmas and a happy new year, Kakyoin."

The little girl walked out into the cold winter air and wrapped the scarf she got from Caesar around her neck while the little coat her father gave her kept her from feeling snow on her skin. The snow crunched under her tiny boots as she walked through the snowy dark night. She was alone in the cold. She was tired and hungry. She wanted to sleep. She wandered through Japan and into a place called 'Morioh'. Snow covered the small city. The little girl watched the flurries fall from the sky as she wandered through this place.
The scents of humans asleep in their beds was faint. She was one of the few things that was awake during this time. Very few humans were up still. A 24/7 store stood on the corner of an alleyway. (Y/n) faintly heard the sound of the ocean in the distance. It was cold, beautiful and peaceful in this winter night. The feeling of loneliness came over the little girl as she did not see her mother's ghost following her anymore. Her red eyes felt heavy.

(Y/n) continued onto the residential section. The houses were lined up neatly. Few had lights still on. Her red eyes looked around as her plum hair blew around her in the freezing winter wind. She could see her hot breaths. She felt so tired and she was far from her stepsister's home. The little girl set down in the snow and let the falling snow cover her. She would survive this easy. She just needed to rest until she had enough strength to continue to Holly's house.
Her ruby eyes closed as she saw the horizon light up with daybreak. The snow fell on her and covered her. She looked like a pile of snow that was on someone's lawn. In her world of dreams, she did not hear the inhabitants of the house pass by her to go about their days. The plum haired pillar was covered completely by snow. Inside her mind, she was with her father.

-

A teenaged boy returned to his house from school, he was quite happy about having a holiday off to spend with his family. He cleaned up his precious hairstyle and said wished his classmates a happy holiday. His violet-blue eyes sparkled happily. He headed home and saw a rather large pile of snow in front of his house. He grinned with the idea of making a prank for his grandfather. The teenaged boy started to gather up the snow from the pile and make snowballs. He felt the pile shift.
He brushed the snow off of the pile and found a small child under all of that snow. She was ice cold. Blue markings on her face was the only color she had. There was no blush of blood flow. The teen picked up the child and quickly took her inside. He took off the snow covered jacket and Scarf she had on and placed her near the heater. His mother got home and began to yell at him for making a mess before he showed her the little girl he found.

The woman placed her hand on the little girl's forehead to feel for a temperature. She felt something hard under the knit hat the child wore. The woman took off the cap and found three silver horns on the child's head. That coupled with the teeth she saw under the lips of the child made her back up. She heard rumors of something like this. But, she pushed fears aside and covered the girl with a thick blanket. They needed to find out who this child was, who her family was, and why she was out in the cold unconscious.
The teen boy came back after cleaning up a bit and felt the girl's cheek. The woman checked the child's bags for identification. Any type of identification. What she found was surprising. Some valuable looking jewelry, a large red stone, two very warm horns and a beautiful porcelain doll. There was money from different countries and a small pouch that they finally found Identification and information in. A identification/keycard that had 'Speedwagon Foundation' printed on it along with the picture if the girl and her name. (Y/n). The teenager flipped the card over and read the back. It was recently given to her by the date on it.

He pulled out a picture of a family. It looked to be antique. The back of the picture had the date on it, 1872. The picture showed a man and who the teen presumed was his two sons and a daughter. The girl was the same one he had on his couch! This little girl was very old! He hid the picture before his mother could see it, he did not want to worry her. Just... what was this girl that he found? The teen pulled the blanket over the girl to keep her warm. He placed the two broken horns that seemed to have warmth radiating from them on her to help her warm up. Something about her was familiar, like he had met her before or that he had some sort of connection to this little girl.
The teen's grandfather came home, he and his mother explained that the boy had found the little girl in the snow. They did not know where she came from but she had a card that showed she was affiliated with the 'Speedwagon Foundation'. They did not know how to contact this foundation, but they would have to ask the little girl when she woke. They would not realize that she was going to be asleep for a long time.

-

It was the day before new years when (y/n) woke up. Her red eyes looked around. She must have been found by humans. She felt the warm horns of her uncles against her face. Her bags were on the table next to the couch she was on and she was holding her doll. The small pillar got up off of the couch and folded the blanket before she wandered the house she was in. She felt that there were three humans in the house. One was a stand user. That one was familiar. She recognized his energy as a child she had met before when she was wandering Japan.
The child found his room. The boy was alseep. His hair was a little messy but it was still in an interesting style. The small pillar wandered up to him and hopped up onto his bed to sit on his chest. His face looked similar to Joseph's when he was younger. He smelled a bit like Joseph as well... It suddenly hit her. This was Joseph's illegitimate son. Joseph cheated on Suzie.

She reached into the teen's throat with her flesh meld ability. How easy it would be to kill him like this... how easy it would be to end all of them. (Y/n) snapped herself out of those thoughts and removed her hand from his throat. She would not kill him. It was not his fault that he was made. He and his mother more than likely did not know that Joseph was married. (Y/n) quietly studied his face before he rolled over and held her like a teddy bear.
The plum haired pillar struggled a bit to get out of his grasp then gave him a pillow to hug before went to grab her again. The child sighed. These people must have thought she passed out in the snow or something. She should just leave. But then these nice people would worry. The little girl mulled over what she was going to do. She looked to the calender and saw it was the day before new years. She had an idea.
(Y/n) got her money and put on her clothes, she left the house and ran out into Japan. She had seen something that she would get for the family as a thank you. She left her other valuables and doll at the house.

She ran until she reached Tokyo as the sun rose. She had enough money to get the present then to get a taxi back to Morioh by lunchtime. She went to the fancy restaurant that she had seen the gift advertised at. It was a specialty Osechi-ryori. The Jūbako box the meal was packed in was beautiful and the food was top quality. A perfect gift for the family. The little girl went into the store and purchased the Osechi-ryori. The employees were quite surprised by the little girl's ability to pay for such an expensive luxury Osechi. The chef wrapped it in a nice wrapping and gave it to the little girl after she payed for it.
The box was almost as big as she was, yet she easily was carrying it around. (Y/n) walked around with the big box in her hands. She now just had to go get a taxi. She could smell the delicious food that was in the box she carried. Some passers-by offered to help her get to the taxi place. She politely declined and went to the taxi stop herself. She was able to get a taxi and paid for the transportation back to Morioh.
(Y/n) was dropped off at the station and wished a happy new year. She returned the wish and started to walk back to the house with Joseph's illegitimate son. While she was walking, she passed by a man who smelled like death. She did not get a good look at him, but she had somewhere else to be.

The sun was high in the sky when she returned to the house. She felt the humans inside were up and perhaps panicking about where she was. Her hands were full, so she had her stand carefully knock on the door for her. The door was answered by the teen boy. He had beautiful violet-blue eyes. He looked a mix of surprised and relieved.
"I went to Tokyo to get a thank you present.," the little girl said and walked in through the gap between his legs. The teen was surprised and looked back as the tiny child walked to a table to place the box down. He followed, "I have some questions for you. One of them is who are you and where are your parents?" "My biological parents are gone. My adoptive parents are very old. I am being cared for by the foundation, you already saw the card.," the little girl spoke, "You want the information to contact the foundation. I can contact them myself and return to the headquarters in Tokyo."

The teen followed and sat down by the little girl, "You got the most luxurious and expensive Osechi-ryori for us as a present?" "Yes. As a thank you.," the little girl replied, "How else am I supposed to greet my Stepbrother?" Her smile was wide and showing her sharp teeth. The teen was shocked by this revelation.
