chapter Fifty-six: Stand users in Morioh

The two days later, (y/n) and Iggy were walking around when they saw Okuyasu and Josuke walking around. They looked like they were looking for something. The two teens saw the girl and the dog, they approached the two. Josuke knelt down, "Hey, (y/n), have you seen Koichi anywhere?" The little girl shook her head, "I haven't seen him since he was talking to thar pretty girl." "That pretty girl is a stand user named Yukako Yamagishi.," Josuke said, "She seems to be after Koichi. She is dangerous." "Do you want our help?," (y/n) asked, "Iggy and I have experience tracking stand users." "Sure, but be careful.," Josuke said and he ran off with Okuyasu.
"Be careful, huh? He just doesn't know. Right, Iggy?," The little girl asked and the dog began to make a laughing noise, "Want to go see where Koichi is or what?" Iggy gave her the same 'I don't care' look he made in Egypt when he had to follow everyone. "We will need to start at his house then. We can follow his scent from his home.," the little girl said and the dog barked at her before following her to Koichi's place.

A big lazy dog was sitting in the backyard. The little girl took in the scents in the house she smelled two women and one young male scent. She got it. A third female scent. Iggy barked at her. He caught it too. "Let's go then.," (y/n) said and ran with Iggy following her. To the north of Morioh was a villa that was used as summer homes for the wealthy who owned them. The girl and dog followed the scent of the silver haired Japanese teen there. The two ran into Josuke and Okuyasu. "(Y/n), Iggy, What are you two doing?," the dimmer teen asked. "We followed Yukako and Koichi's scents here.," the plum haired child said, "She had snatched him from his room during the night."
Josuke looked down at his stepsister, "Can you show us where they are?" The child nodded and led the two to the house near the cliff. The house was covered with hair. There was strong stand energy coming from the house. "Looks like she is showing her stand and her darker nature.," the child said. The child watched as Yukako flew back suddenly, Koichi's stand must have done it! The girl nodded to Iggy after he barked at her and ran to go see if everything was okay, she heard Yukako screaming insults at Koichi. The silver haired teen could not move because the Japanese teen girl had his stand bound. The plum haired pillar ran up and heard a crackling as Koichi told Yukako to step away from the edge.

"Let go of Echoes and grab onto something, when Echoes was listening to your heart, I heard the cliff crumbling.," Koichi said. "Don't make shit up to save yourself!," Yukako hissed as the little pillar heard the crumbling increase. "Yukako. Get off of the cliff, now! He's not lying!," the pillar child said before the ground split and the teen girl was thrown off the cliff by the ground falling out from beneath her feet. The plum haired girl looked over the cliff as Yukako sprang back up. The pillar child reached her hand out to the teen and caught her arm. (y/n) pulled the girl up with the help of Koichi and Iggy. Iggy was pulling on her little dress.
The child let the teenaged girl go once she was safe and went to see if Koichi was okay. (Y/n) was happy to see that Koichi was okay and that he had a cool stand. Iggy was sniffing at the stand as the little girl hugged the stand. Koichi looked at Yukako, "I tried to warn you. But, you don't understand anything I say. Do you?" The silver haired teen walked away with the tiny pillar and the dog following. (Y/n) picked the teen up and ran with him to Josuke and Okuyasu. Koichi was sweaty and shaky. He had been through a lot.

"You're still alive!," Okuyasu said with a smile. "It took you long enough to get here!," Koichi said to the other two teens as the small child set him down. Josuke and Okuyasu were happy that he was okay. The small pillar was still hugging the silver haired teen's stand. Iggy was sniffing around and barked impatiently at the little girl. She gave the dog a stick of coffee gum. Iggy was more than happy to accept the gum. "Your stand evolved, that's great.," Josuke said to Koichi. "Yep! It can do really cool things now!," Koichi said with a smile. He was glad to be safe and back with his friends. Okuyasu noticed that Yukako was looking at them and smiling. "That's kinda creepy.," Josuke said, "Let's go."
The small group returned to town. Koichi's family was relieved that he was safe. Josuke and (y/n) had to tell Jotaro what had happened. After telling Jotaro and the others, Josuke went home. (Y/n) stayed with Jotaro, Avdol and Kakyoin to talk a little more. "Has Iggy behaved for you?," Avdol inquired. "He has been stubborn and prideful, but he has not tried to pull our hair out.," the little pillar child replied as she sat on a bench next to the Egyptian as Kakyoin and Jotaro was walking at the beach and looking into the tide pools.

"How are the prosthetics treating you?," (y/n) inquired. "They took some getting used to.," the Egyptian man replied, "But, They are okay now." "All except Jotaro and I have prosthetics.," the little girl said, "I feel kind of bad for not being able to help more. But I also know that Jotaro and I did not come out of that unscathed." "The mental trauma of the battle is what you two have.," Avdol said, "And you have even more from the battles earlier in your life. Have you ever thought about talking about what you went through with someone?"
"No. I'm afraid humans won't be able to help me.," the little girl replied. Avdol looked down at the little girl beside him, "You can always talk to one of us if you feel like it. We may not completely understand what you have been through, but we can help." (Y/n)'s red eyes began to water and she nodded.

The two watched as Kakyoin almost fall into a tide pool before he was caught by Star Platinum. (y/n) smiled at seeing Jotaro and Kakyoin interact. She was glad that she had them, that she was able to save Kakyoin. She patted Iggy's head as she watched her nephew and friend. "Avdol. You helped Jotaro pull out his stand right?," the pillar girl inquired, "Could you help me with my stand?" "Your stand? What can you do with it so far?," the Egyptian asked. "Cut and glide.," the little girl replied.
Avdol listened, "Are you able to bring it out a little?" (Y/n) reached her arm out and let the bladed wing appeared beside her arm. The Egyptian man looked a little surprised at the limb he saw. "This is all I can do. I was practicing with Iggy and trying to get it to come out.," the little girl replied, "How did you get yours to come out?" "One day, I was a young boy and I was being harassed by some older kids when Magician's red first manifested.," Avdol explained, "It was a surprising experience, but I soon learned how to control my power."

"A stand is a power that you practice and train yourself with. It is a part of you. It is shaped by your own heart. What it is will be up to your own spirit.," the Egyptian man said as he brought out his stand, "My stand was made by my own experiences." Egyptian's red was as incredible to see. Its name gave it's color perfectly. Down like feathers covered its legs and shoes were on its feet. The pinkish skinned muscular torso had a predatory bird's head atop it. Its green eyes had a spark of intelligence. "My Magician's Red mirrors my culture and my own heart.," Avdol spoke as the little half pillar child beside him reached up to touch the head of his stand.
The energy that came from the bird headed stand was warm, a warmth similar to Esidisi's heat mode. The little girl's red eyes looked at the stand and she grabbed its hand. The clawed hand was warm. Warm like Esidisi's. The little girl gripped the hand a little tighter with both of her tiny hands. "It is warm.," (y/n) said as she looked to Avdol. Her hands slipped as Magician's Red disappeared, called back by its master.

(Y/n) looked at her hands, the blades that her stand had glistened over her arms for a second. The familiar blades glistened and reflected the light. She could not help but to think of her father's blades as she looked at the wings that faintly glistened over her arms. The blades disappeared as she looked up to see Kakyoin and Jotaro walking up. Kakyoin's clothes were a little wet around the edges and his long hair noodle was drooped down from being soaked with salt water. Jotaro was not much better. Iggy had woken from his nap and started to laugh at the two wet men.
Avdol chuckled from the two's annoyed faces, "Did you have fun investigating the tide pools?" "The sea life was interesting.," Jotaro spoke calmly as Kakyoin squeezed water out of his hair noodle. The little pillar girl also was giggling at her nephew and friend. Kakyoin flicked some water at her and made her squeal as the water hit her. Jotaro looked away from his group of friends and off to the town of Morioh, "I think we should be getting back. The sun is beginning to go down." The little pillar pouted a bit, she was having fun.

Avdol stood up and folded his arms into his sleeves. (Y/n) hopped off the bench. The little girl looked up to the three men walking away then to the dog that was sitting by her feet. "I'm going to be waiting for Josuke and Okuyasu tomorrow afternoon. Do you want to come with me?," the little girl asked the dog. Iggy just gave her a look that said, "I don't have anything better to do." The plum haired pillar nodded, "Okay, you're right. Do you want something special tomorrow? Like a good dog food?"
Iggy stood and wagged his tail. The little girl smiled, "I'll let you choose what you want, okay?" The child and dog walked back to the Higashikata house together. (Y/n) looked at the collar that Iggy was wearing. It also had some customization on it. A small Speedwagon foundation pin, a button that had the Fool card on it, a name tag in the shape of his stand's head. There was also a tag that had Jean's information on it.

The two walked together. Through the business district and to the residential area. They passed by a house that seemed pretty big. Iggy stopped and sniffed the air before growling at the big white house. (Y/n) knelt by the dog to hold him back from charging at the house. Her red eyes looked up to the window Iggy was growling at, green eyes were looking down at the horned girl and the dog. There was something unsettling about the gaze. Iggy's muzzle was curled up in a savage snarl, he did not like whatever was in that house.
(Y/n) focused on her horns and felt the house, there was a human man inside. He was the only one there. Her red eyes focused on the dark window she saw the man looking at her and Iggy from. The girl gripped Iggy's collar a little tighter. "Let's get out of here, Iggy. We don't know what this guy can do.," the little girl said to the snarling dog as sand and dust circled around them, threatening to become The Fool at the discretion of the dog. She scooped Iggy up and looked back up at the window before putting her hood back on her head and running to the Higashikata house with the small dog in her arms. Iggy was not happy about being carried so (y/n) had to apologize to the dog.
