Chapter Fifteen: Warrior's new clothes

A few days after going to the temple, Kars and his group had collected material to make new outfits and several red stones. None of the stones were large and pure enough for Kars to use in his mask. The red eyed godlike man wanted to crush the stones in his anger, but found that his daughter found joy in playing with the large and beautiful stones. He let her have the biggest and most beautiful one of the stones to keep. The rest of the stones were either crushed or placed elsewhere.
The material was put to good use as they all made it a task to make their own clothes, Wamuu got help from (y/n) as he made one of his outfits to wear when going out to scout for the stone of Aja. It was probably the most clothing he would wear. The blond warrior found that he liked it as much as the child who helped him to make it did. Esidisi also decided to go with a more modest clothing to blend more in the human world with. However, he found some sort of sick delight in teasing the child with saying that he was going to stitch armor onto his skin. (y/n) did not find it amusing and thought it was kind of disturbing. Especially when he wanted her to stitch in places he was not able to see and a corset like stitching on his belly.

Kars, however, somehow found some human clothing that was his size. Where he found it (y/n) knew not, she was with Wamuu during that time. A big trench coat, a hat, pants and boots, all with straps covering them to keep them on his massive body. The girl tried his hat on as he showed it to her, as expected, it was too big for her. Just seeing her whole head covered with the large hat made the Warriors chuckle at the silly child. Her dress did not need many changes. But she did need it to be modified a bit as she grew some during her hibernation. Esidisi saw that her old belt had been badly damaged and repaired haphazardly, probably a quick fix in order to keep on moving during a fight. He made her a new belt with Bigger and more pouches to hold items in.
Wamuu found the photograph in one of the pouches of the old belt. The blond warrior approached the child with this finding. She explained who the people in the photograph were, the human family who took her in despite knowing she was not a human. The warrior seemed pleased when she told him about Jonathan, yet disappointed to hear that the man was deceased. He had also found the beautiful porcelain doll that Jonathan gave to her as a gift, the girl had to explain the gift to her father and Wamuu. Kars allowed her to keep it as he did admit that it was pretty and that his daughter liked it.

(Y/n) dress and new sandals fit well. She and Wamuu made their new accessories to wear out of the gold and other precious metals that they had found. It was great fun to make the accessories with the man she regarded as one of her uncles. She did not understand why he liked to cover his hair up with his headpieces but that was his style. The child happily made herself a circlet that accented her eyes with its red jewels. She felt like an actual princess with it on. After finishing the accessories, she returned to see what Esidisi and her father were doing. Esidisi had finished his outfit and was stitching the armor together. Kars was nowhere to be found. Probably making another mask or destroying the ones that did not work. The tiny child walked up to her dark skinned uncle and hopped onto his back. His fluffy white hair was in her face as she peered over his shoulder. His body was very warm to the touch.
"Hm? What was that? I thought I felt something land on me.," the icy blue eyed warrior spoke, "I wonder what it could be?" He quickly looked over his shoulder. "Ah! It is a little lamb. You're so small and light that I thought I was hallucinating.," the man spoke. The girl stuck her tongue out at him but huddled down on his shoulder. He gave a deep rumbling chuckle in his somewhat raspy tone, "Why has a little lamb come to me? Are you already done with what you were doing with Wamuu?"

He saw her nod and took her off of his shoulder, he had his new outfit on, the pants at least. He was getting the armor pads on still. "Want to help me put these on? I need to stitch these to me.," the warrior spoke to the child and held up the armor, "I'll need you to do a few of the stitches." "That's kind of gross, Uncle Esidisi.," the girl responded, "Won't it hurt?" The white haired male made a grin, "It will hurt. But I kind of like it."
"You're weird, uncle Esidisi.," the little girl said and the man laughed. (Y/n) did help him to stitch the pads onto his body and even stuck some pins into the shoulder pads. She did not like the needle covered shoulder pads, she would not be able to perch on him with those on him. Esidisi saw her annoyance towards that fact, he began to poke fun at her after learning this. "Is the little dove annoyed she can't take a perch on me?," the dark skinned man asked with a teasing tone as he pressed his finger into the cheek of the little child. The girl puffed her cheeks up in annoyance. "Too bad, I might just have to carry you in my arms or on my back.," the man said as he picked the child up. The girl was still pouting as the dark skinned warrior carried her around. (Y/n) allowed him to carry her through the temple, he teased her the whole way before he placed her down so he could go off to scout out the possible locations of the stone. The girl was sad to see her uncle leave, but she was going to be okay because she saw her father coming towards her. She waited for him to pass by and jumped onto his shoulder. The man did not flinch and kept walking with his beloved daughter on his shoulder.

He and his daughter went out to observe the world. They traveled quickly through the world and observed everything. They found great pleasure in exploring this new world before them. The world had changed far beyond their expectations. Some places were much better compared to how they used to be thousands of years ago. The girl felt happy that she was with her father. They searched not only for signs of the stone, but also for new places to hide and humans thar were willing to become their servants. One they found escaping from a prison. He was absolutely insane. He wanted to just kill and enjoy it. (Y/n) trusted her father's judgements and did not argue when the human was turned into a vampire with a mask. The vampire followed them as they traveled through a snowy area and found some more humans to change into Vampires. They were quickly amassing a force to be reckoned with.
The ancient man and his daughter was joined by their two companions. They found an old building that was blocked off and furnished magnificently.  This would work to be their castle instead of the temple in the middle of nowhere. It was more comfortable there. Fireplaces and bedrooms. Places to hide and a library full of old books. Kars and the others hid inside the old building as dawn broke. The vampire servants cleaned the building up for their new masters while the ancient men relaxed after their night of journeying.

Kars held his daughter tight against his large warm body as he sat upon the throne he claimed as the new rising king and god of this world. (Y/n) dozed against her father, feeling safe and warm in his arms. Everything was alright with them. They did not know of the hell that Joseph Joestar was being put through to train himself to be strong enough to fight Wamuu and the other pillar warriors. Because right now, they had each other, and that was all that they wanted. Kars had his eyes closed and was resting as his tiny daughter rested against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. Her small body for easily on the chest and torso of her massive father. Wamuu sat on a platform nearby as Esidisi sat by the fire, watching the flames. All of them waiting and resting. They were getting closer to their goal. They just needed the stone. Kars had finished the perfect mask to fit the stone in. The little girl sat up. "Papa, I thought of something.," the girl spoke. Her father opened one of his eyes, "What is it, (y/n)?"
"Vampire masks for horses. For Wamuu!," the girl grinned. She got a small smile from her father and a chuckle from Esidisi. The white haired Warrior spoke up from his place by the fire, "Where do you get these ideas? Wamuu, what do you think?" "Hm. Vampire horses might be useful in chariot battles or as mounts.," the warrior spoke. Kars chuckled a little, "Then you and Wamuu can make the masks for the horses. That is your project while Esidisi and I search for he stone."

Silence came over them as they rested. (Y/n) had her eyes closed as she was curled up on the chest of her father. Her eyes opened in the afternoon. The other three were still resting. She sensed she was being watched. But she did not feel the life other than the vampires and her family. But this presence was not a malicious one. The girl got off of her father, careful not to disturb him. She carefully walked out of the room and walked the halls. Sunlight filtered through the boarded up windows. Dust particles floated in the air. She continued to look around and wander, exploring her new home. Red eyes looked at everything around her. (Y/n) walked down the stairs and wandered some more before coming to the entrance to the building. Sunlight peered under the door the girl reached towards the door and the sun filtering in. Her arm was caught by a vampire, this warrior shook his head, "Don't go outside yet, Lady (y/n). Please forgive me for touching you." He let go quickly and bowed to her. "It's okay. I forgive you.," the girl said and watched the vampire walk off into the darkness. She wandered away from the front door and around the old building again.

From the corner of her eye, she saw a flutter again. The girl turned to see a figure of a woman walk through the hallway. Something about this woman was not right. The girl ran towards the woman and tried to catch her. The woman faded as soon as the child got too close. The plum haired girl looked around for the woman. She looked behind her and saw the woman. The woman was holding her belly and looking at the door where Kars was resting. The girl tried again to catch the woman, again she failed. She realized, the woman was see through. But she was just a human woman? How did the girl not sense her? Why was this human woman here? Why was she always where (y/n) and her father was? This was irritating the plum haired child as she wanted answers. This human looked hurt from the expression she was making.
The girl looked again for the woman, "Where are you? Why are you here?" She did not get an answer. "Who are you?," (y/n) asked and looked around again before she returned to her father. Kars picked his child up and placed her back on his chest and go back to resting. The girl huddled to her father and closed her eyes. She felt something against her cheek as she fell asleep. Like someone kissing her cheek.
