Sam POV...

I was fast asleep in my bed as I heard "Sam,it's time to get up" which sounded like my foster mother,I got up from my bed straightening out my white and slightly red tail feathers before I put on my white and black robe before I walked over to the door to my bedroom before slowly opening it walking out and into the small dining room where both my foster parents were sitting at the table. "Good Morning,Mom and Dad" I said making both birds who were not peacocks but ducks,after I was taking from my real parents I was put under foster care with these two. "Good Morning,Sam,we have prepared breakfast" Mom said as I walked over to sit next to mother who had set a smoking bowl of noddles in front of me. "I grabbed my chopsticks before I started to eat "Sam how is School been going?" Mom asked "good,I guess,I still get picked on for being a peacock" I said "don't listen to them,they are just jealous that you are a very royal species" Mom said "I know,I mostly ignore them" I said finishing my noodles before I put my empty bowl into the sink " I'm going to school! see you later!" I said "okay,have a good day,Sam!" Mom said before I opened the door as I walked out of the house and off to school not knowing what was going to happen today.

A couple Hours Later...

It was almost dark and I had finished doing School for the day and was heading back home when I suddenly heard several howls before I heard the towns bell ring "there are coming!!!" "run!" several villagers shouted as they ran past me. "Hey! what's going on?" I asked but none of the panicking villagers responded as there all ran into their houses 'what's happening?' I thought as suddenly several wolfs started stealing metal. I quickly hid behind some nearby crates as a wolf that looked like the boss/leader of the group "grab all the metal you can find!" the Leader Wolf ordered as his wolfs ran off to find more metal,I soon noticed on the leader wolf's shoulder was a red symbol that seemed familiar to me but I couldn't put my feather on it.

Lost in my thoughts I accidentally knocked over the crates that I was hiding behind revealing my presence to the leader wolf and his men,the leader wolf looked over at me surprised "a Peacock" he said shocked as I stepped back in fear as many other wolfs looked over at me shocked. "Those colors" the leader said even more shocked before he pointed at me "seize him!" the leader wolf shouted as several wolfs charged at me as I quickly ran away as the wolfs chased after me.
