Sam POV...

I opened my eyes as I realized that I wasn't in the sack anymore,I looked up to see I was surrounded by wolves who growled manacling making me whimper in fear when I heard "enough! get back to finishing up with my weapons!" shouted a deep male voice from behind me. The wolves all dispersed as I looked behind me to see a shocking sight,another peacock with white feathers just like me! The white peacock looked around the area seeing if their was anyone around before looking down at me with his red eyes which made me step back in fear "it's alright little one,I'm not going to harm you" the white peacock said "you w-won't?" I asked looking up at the peacock. "I promise" the peacock answered "who are you? mister?" I asked "my name is Lord Shen and you are?" Shen asked "S-Sam" I said shivering from the cold weather. "You seem cold,come,follow me inside where it's a lot warmer" Shen said leading me inside his pagoda which as soon as Shen opened the front doors to his pagoda I felt a load of heat hit me warming me up immediately. I walked into the house amazed by how beautiful it was "you like it?" Shen asked "yes,it's amazing" I said as I felt Shen's wing on my shoulder before he led me over to a unlit fire place. Their was also two chairs sitting there facing the fire place "take a seat" Shen said as he walked over to the fireplace lighting it with his metal talons,I sat down as Shen sat down on the other chair when he said " where are your parents,Sam?" "my parents? oh,they are gone,my mother died when I was very young when I was also taken from my father,I have been in foster care for the rest of my life" I said lowering my beak in sadness. I then felt a wing on my shoulder making me look up to see it was Shen "I'm so sorry,Sam" Shen said "I don't know what to do now,I don't know where my foster parents are and home is too far away" I said "I know,that's why you will be coming with me to retake my home land" Shen said making me look up at his face. "Your letting me stay with you?!" I said " why yes,we are the same aren't we?" Shen asked "thank you,Lord Shen!" I said running up to him before hugging his feathery chest. Shen was tense at first not knowing what he should do,he just patted my head with his wing "your welcome little one and no need to call me Lord just call me Shen" Shen said looking down at me "okay that's enough" Shen said sounding a little annoyed. I let go off Shen's chest "sorry" I said "it's quite alright,I just don't want my robe ruined" Shen said "come" he said as he led me up the stairs to the second floor. Shen pushed open a door to reveal a small bedroom "this is where you can rest for the night" Shen said "thanks,Shen" I said "get some sleep because we leave early tomorrow to Gongmen City" Shen said as I climbed into the small bed. "Good night,Shen" I said looking over at Shen who didn't say anything but nodded before closing the door behind him as I fell asleep not knowing who the white peacock really was.
