(Y/N) POV

After falling into the water I wake up on a bed. I look around for Joel or Ellie hoping to find them. I hear footsteps coming close and I expect to see them but I don't

Me: No way!

The door opens and I see my parents! I didn't know whether to feel exited or shocked

Me: Mom! Dad!

I quickly get up and try to hug them but I felt a wall pushing back away from them. Then I suddenly feel something pull me back

Mom: It's no your time yet (Y/N)

Me: No! I want to stay, please

Dad: It's okay bud, we're not going anywhere

All I did was scream as u was pulled back further and and further back till I was in complete darkness. I looked around for a way back but you couldn't feel through the darkness

I crouched down and hold onto my knees. I sat there for what felt like hours just sitting waiting to wake up. I didn't know what to do so I just cried... this must be what it feels like to lose everyone that matters to you

3rd POV

Inside the sewers were Joel, (Y/N), and Ellie along with Henry, whose carrying an unconscious (Y/N), and Sam. Henry rescued them from drowning after they jumped off the bridge and Joel nearly killed him

Ellie managed to talk some sense into Joel and he let him live. They are now walking through the tunnels and (Y/N) was waking up

(Y/N): Ugh

Henry: Hey he's waking up

Ellie immediately ran over and checked up on him. Henry set him down and Ellie gave him a hug

Ellie: (Y/N)! Are you okay

(Y/N): No. My head is fucking killing me

He holds his head and feels some soft fabric wrapped around his head

Joel: You hit your head pretty hard back there. I bandaged it up as well

(Y/N): Thanks I guess

He then looked around and saw Henry and Sam standing around

(Y/N): Why are they here?

Joel: They're taking us to the radio station

(Y/N): You sure we can trust them?

Ellie: They saved our lives. We would be dead if it wasn't for them

(Y/N): *sigh* Whatever, my head hurts too much to actually care right now anyway

Henry: Appreciate it, little dude

They continue to travel through the tunnels and as they do they find evidence of an old civilization. Although it seems that the ones who lived there were long gone by now

They soon come across a door and when Joel opens it a bunch of bottles fell and made a loud noise

Joel: Oh shit

Henry: It's a sound trap

Ellie: What's that

(Y/N): It's basically an alarm. We used to use it as well, whenever we found a secure place to sleep

Sam: Whose, we?

(Y/N): It doesn't matter now

He walks ahead with a saddened look on his face

Sam: Did I say something wrong?

Ellie: It's best we don't ask. He doesn't talk much about his past, only when he tries to explain something

Sam seems to understand and they catch up with the rest of the group. Joel then opens a door and a barrel falls in front of him. Then a large gate falls behind him and separated him and Sam from the rest of the group

Henry: Sam!

Sam: Yeah, I'm cool

Joel: That was me. I must've triggered some sort of safety gate or something. Let's see if we can lift this

Henry, Joel, and (Y/N) try and lift the gate with no success. Then, in the far distance, several clicking sounds could be heard

Ellie: Clickers!

Henry: Hey, this thing isn't budging man

Joel: Just go, get out of here

Henry: Sam, you stay close to him

(Y/N): Henry! We need to go, now!

Henry: You keep him safe!

The quickly turn away from the clickers and run as fast as they could. After running for a while they see a door up ahead and quickly bust through it then close it

(Y/N): Ellie, find something to block the door

Ellie: Alright

She quickly searches around as Henry and (Y/N) hold the door close. She then sees a locker next to the door and quickly tries to push it over

Just then a clicker broke through the window and grabbed (Y/N). Henry then shot the clicker as Ellie pushed the locker down. They run away quickly and they see Joel and Sam up ahead

Henry: Sam!

Ellie: Joel! Thank God

The infected then break through the door and run at them

(Y/N): Guys we gotta keep moving!

They run away as fast as possible and eventually come up to a blocked door that leads to the outside. They try and force it open with no luck

Henry: The damn things stuck

Ellie: Gimme a boost. I can get through that window

Henry: Alright open it from the other side

Joel: make it fast and (Y/N) go with her

(Y/N): You sure?

Joel: Just go!

Henry boost Ellie and Sam up then (Y/N) as well. Once on the other side they see that a vending machine was blocking the door. The move quickly to push it out of the way and open the door

Henry and Joel then squeezed through the crack of the open door and block it back up again. They take a quick breather and a sigh of relief

Ellie: Oh, are you fucking kidding me?

They look at the wall and see a message on the wall

'Warning. Infected inside.
DO NOT OPEN'

(Y/N): You think they would put that on both sides of the entrance

Joel: So where's this tower?

Henry: We're close. C'mon. Let's go

They walk away from the area and make it to an abandoned town shortly after. Henry then spots the tower in the distance and sparks joy in the group

(Y/N): Finally

Henry: And you guys doubted me

They walk through town and a couple of houses to scavenge for some supplies. After a short walk (Y/N) sees something that sparks excitement in him

(Y/N): Holy shit! Joel look at the dogs, can I keep one!

Joel: Those are wild, best to stay away from them. They aren't like the ones in the zone. These are wild

(Y/N): The zone?

Joel: Nevermind. Just stay away from them

(Y/N): Oh man

They come across an open area and immediately get shot at so they take cover on a car

Henry: Fucking sniper. Did you see where it came from

(Y/N): The white house, the one in the middle

Joel: Y'all stay here

Ellie: No

Joel: Before you start. I need you guys to keep him busy. I'm gonna go around and see if I can't get the angle on him

(Y/N): Alright, goodluck

Ellie: Hey... be careful

He nodded and quickly runs off as the sniper shot. The rest just stay behind while Joel tries to get the sniper. They shot a couple times in order to get the attention of the sniper but they mostly stayed hidden

Then from behind they see a bunch of hunters that had followed them. With no other choice they ran hoping Joel took care of the sniper. Once in cover, the sniper shit one of the hunters which meant Joel  took him down

They stood and fought and with the help of Joel, with the sniper, they took them down easily. Sadly the sound of a car pulled up

(Y/N): You gotta be shiting me right now

The armored truck had followed them all the way

Ellie: These assholes really went out of their way just to get us

(Y/N): It would seem so

A man poked from above the truck and threw a molotov at them. But that turned out to be their downfall as Joel shot him as he was about to throw it. The bottle fell inside the truck and broke cause the inside to burst in flames

The driver jumped out hoping he would live and crashed the truck into a house. They felt a new wave of relief but that was short lived

Ellie: (Y/N)!!

Three infected had jumped onto them. Ellie shot the one on (Y/N) and Joel shot the other two off Sam and Henry. They then ran as fast as they could hoping to loose them and ran to the tower

King crimson (That's how we do a time skip here)

It was night time and everyone seemed to be getting along. After that long day the definitely deserved a breath of fresh air. Joel and Henry were chatting as (Y/N) hung back in the corner

Ellie: Hey, you alright

He looked up and saw Ellie sit next to him

(Y/N): Yeah, just tired

Ellie: How's your head?

(Y/N): Other than the immense pain, I think I'm okay

Ellie: You were bleeding pretty bad you know. I was scared that I was gonna loose you

(Y/N): Heh. You can't get rid of me that easily

Ellie: I was being serious. I was actually scared we might loose you

He seemed a bit short that she actually cared about a stranger. They had only known each other for a couple days yet she cared about him

(Y/N): Ellie relax, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, my family just has that luck

Ellie: Okay..... just please be careful

(Y/N): How if I got pushed off a bridge

Ellie: Don't be a dick

They share a small laugh following by an awkward silence

Ellie: *blushing* I'm gonna check on Sam

(Y/N): *blushing* Yeah, uh, tell him I said hi

She nodded and left to check up on Sam. (Y/N) decided to finally rest up for the day and went to sleep shortly after

King crimson

The next day (Y/N) woke up a bit earlier than everyone else. He felt a bit of weight on him and looks to his side to see Ellie sleeping on him. He grows a blush and slowly gets her off of him

Joel: You two sleep alright

(Y/N): Jesus! How long have you been up

Joel: Long enough to see you two cuddle

(Y/N): That's creepy Joel

Joel: *chuckling* It's the truth

(Y/N): *sigh* It's wierd hearing you laugh. I'm gonna get some fresh air

Joel: Be careful

(Y/N): I know. I won't go far

He goes outside and takes in a deep breath. After a couple minutes he gets ready to head inside but hears a bush shake

He grabs his gun and stays a few feet away as the noise gets louder and louder. He aims his gun and gets ready for a fight till the thing finally emerges and he is shocked at the thing

???: *honk*

It's a duck!

(Y/N): Holy shit, you scared the shit out of me

He looks at the duck and the duck goes up to him. It rubbed itself on his leg and he pet the duck

(Y/N): What yah doing here little guy. You hungry.... well you ain't the only one

Duck: *honk*

(Y/N): You know I somehow feel like you underestimate me the most. You wanna be friends?

Duck: *honk*

(Y/N): I'm taking that as a yes

He spends a couple more minutes with the duck, that he named Donald, but he soon needs to leave

(Y/N): Sorry bud. It's time we go our separate ways

Donald: *sad honk*

(Y/N): *smiles* Maybe we'll meet again, see you around Donald

Donald sadly leaves but (Y/N) gave him a small head pat. That made it easier for Donald to leave and (Y/N) held onto the smile on his face

He goes to walk back inside and his smile soon fades and grew a frightful look

Joel: Henry no!

Henry the shoot himself in the head as his blood splatters all ove (Y/N) face. He grew stiff and slowly looked down at both Sam and Henry, laying dead on the floor
