Ellie's P.O.V

I woke up the next day, finding Joel sitting on the left side of the entrance of the cave. Standing up, I picked my bag pack, swinging it to my back and walked to the entrance. "G'morning, baby girl." Joel said while still starring outside.

"Good morning." I said, stretching.

"Look what's there." Joel pointed straight from us. I followed his finger to where it was pointing. There was a beautiful white horse eating some grass.

I suddenly heard some clicking behind me. I turned to Joel and he looked back at me questioningly. Looking back, a Clicker was standing right there next to the cave. I pulled my bow then arrow, pulling the arrow to the bow. Taking a deep breathe and holding it, I released the arrow striking the Clicker's head. Then suddenly breathed out.

"That's a good one." I said to myself. I went to the Clicker and pulled my arrow back up, checking if there were any other ones but luckily none were there. It's been days since seeing an infected. Putting my bow and arrow back into my bagpack, I turned around and not seeing Joel. "Joel?" I said looking around the cave and inside but no sign of him. "Joel?!" I looked around again but still no sign of him. Then I heard some horse hooves walking to my direction. I turned back seeing Joel on the white horse that we just saw a few minutes ago.

"God damn, Joel. You scared the hell outta me!" I exclaimed. He walked the horse and pulled it next to me. It already had a rope in its mouth while Joel is holding the other side.

"Sorry, baby girl. Now hop on." He said. I walked to the horses back and Joel pulled his hand out. My hand reached his and pulled me up to the back of Joel. "What should we name him?" He asked.

I thought about that for abit. "What about Snow?" I asked.

"Snow? Ok I'll take that." He said smiling. "So let's go get us some lunch. Also get that bow and arrow ready." He ordered. I sighed and pulled out them out as he kicked the horse on its sides softly making her move.

As we rode down the forest, we followed a trail and don't know where it'll take us. In the distance I saw a deer eating some grass. "Look. Over there." I said pointing my finger at its direction. Joel nodded and stopped Snow. "Take your shot." He whispered. I did as he ordered and raised the back of the arrow to my cheek. I aimed the front pointed a bit upwards since the deer was far. I took in a deep breathe and released the arrow. The arrow flew and striker the deer on the neck. "Yes!" I jumped off the horse and ran to the deer. Joel was coming on the horse to me.

"It's a long way back to that cave." Joel said. I looked around and then back at him. "I'll go check what's around then I'll come back to tell you if there's any place where we can stay." I said

He sighed then agreed.

I stood up from my place and begun walking deeper into the forest. I've continued walking for more than half an hour. Looking around, I spotted something black on the ground. First of all I thought it was just the ground, but as I concentrated it was breathing. Curiosity got the best of me and walked to its direction slowly. I walked closer and noticed it had black fur and blue aquatic stripes, the same one I saw yesterday.. I've never been this close to any wild animal. I then stepped on a branch on the ground and it snapped. The tiger lifted its head up quickly and looked at my direction. I suddenly stood in my place, freezing. The huge cat stood up and stepped back growling. "Shh it's ok." I whispered and it clearly heard it since it twitched its ears. I tried stepping towards it, but then it growled louder and ran off running over some logs.

I sighed out of relief that is didn't atleast bite me. Turning around, I continued looking for a place but found nothing.

I walked back to Joel. The sun was setting and the sky turned purple and dark blue. I saw him already cooking the deer that we caught today. So I sat by him.

"Did you see anything?" He asked.

"Nope. Nothing special." I replied back and remembering the tiger I saw.

After a while, we were done cooking the deer and finished eating it. Snow layed down next to me and I patted her neck. "What do you think happened to Callus?" I asked Joel. "Probably got stolen,"He replied. "Let's go get us some sleep." I laid next to him and rested my head on his lap as he also laid down. I closed my eyes and took a deep sleep.

~ I sat on bench and infront of a school. I looked around and saw no one. Then something tapped my shoulder, looking back I saw Riley and sat down next to me. I looked at her, then something weird was happening. Her skin began to peel off and flesh and bones began to reveal but her eye balls stayed in the place but moves backwards. "Riley?" I asked. I stood up but she was still next to me, chasing every move I'm doing. I began walking to the road but she was still chasing me and she was scaring the fuck out of me. I tried screaming Joel and help but no sound came out of my mouth. Soon, Riley gripped me from my shoulder and bit my neck tearing my neck off. It was the worse pain I've ever felt.~

I woke up, sitting up and looked around. I quickly touched my neck checking for something but thank god there was nothing. I looked around again and noticed the sky was still dark, Joel sleeping and Snow too. So I sat there thinking about my dream that it must've meant something.
