Ellie's P.O.V

As we kept running we were still being chased. "Why won't they ever stop?!" I asked, angrily and tiredly. Joel just kept running. Soon we heard some kind of roar somewhere around us. We all suddenly slowed down. "What the fuck was that?" I whispered.

A huge black tiger with blue aquatic stripes and eyes jumps out of the left side beside the survivors, and onto the survivors. It clawed them all to death and then turned to us growling. Me and Joel stood still in out positions. The tiger stared at us one last time and ran off.

"What the fuck was that thing?! It was really huge!" I said, shocked.

"We'd better keep walkin' ." Said Joel. I sighed and turned around. "Ok.."

We walked for hours and the sun began to sink. We then saw a cave ahead of us. "We need to rest. Let's go into that cave in there." Joel said, pointing at the cave.

We walked to the entrance and starred at the inside. "It looks kinda deep don't you think?" I asked. "Is it even safe?" I took out my Revolver and held it at my side just incase. "Do you keep walking and get spotted by the survivors again?" He asked. And then I shook my head. "Well then let's go in there." He then took out his torch and walked inside and i followed him from behind.

~ I was walking down a road and looked around. All skyscrapers and not a single shorter building. I've never seen this city before but just ended up here. It was just empty. As I walked down the road, I saw someone laying on the ground, groaning from pain. I narrowed my eyes and walked closer to it. It looked like a girl, wearing the same clothes as I am right now. As soon as I reached it, I knelt down rolling it over. I was shocked at what I saw... It was me! I had clear white eyes, rolling its head my head it screamed. I covered my ears and looked back as I saw Riley, my best friend. "Oh no no no!" I quickly went to grab my Hunting Rifle but it wasn't there... Not even my bag! I began to panic and looked at my infected self then to Riley. They both were running to me and I was trapped and couldn't move myself. My legs won't move, before I could turn my body, both Riley and my infected self jumped on me and began tearing me apart.~

"Ellie. Ellie. Wake up." Joel said quietly. I shit my eyes open and sat up quickly. I looked around but saw nothing except Joel just cooking two rabbits.

"You okay there, Ellie?" He asked.

"Yeah. Just a nightmare." I replied back.

"You hungry?" Joel asked as he took the rabbits out of the fire sticks and gave one to me.

"Sure am!" I said. I grabbed the stick and began eating the rabbit. The dream can't get out of my mind as I saw my infected self. What if I turned into one? What happens if I was left alone? So many thoughts ran into my mind. I took these thoughts at the back of my mind and looked outside. It was still night and I could still see the bright stars shining in the sky.

"So where we headed tomorrow?" I asked Joel, turning to him.

"I guess we'll just search the area together and see what we get," He replied. "We should get some sleep."

"Alrighty." I then finished my cooked rabbit and layed back down, head on my bag. Rolling on my side, I got the same stick I used for the rabbit and began drawing stuff on the ground. I drew some stars as dots and a big circle in the middle. Then two stickmen labeled as me and Joel on the moon as astronauts. I chuckled at the drawing.

My eyes felt heavy, so I closed my eyes and hands under my head and slept.
