(A/N): Heya Everyone. Here is another chapter/episode. Even though Im exhausted from updating my Highschool DXD story, I still need to update a couple of stories for you guys. This is a short chapter. These type of chapters that has Episode/Chapter 4.5 for example, are just short chapters/special events. Alright, lets do this.

☆Opening 1☆

[Narrator]

Last time on Splatoon: The Last Of My Kind, Yami and Katie, plus her friends, went to Salmon Run to play and get Yami to sign up as a part timer. On the last round, Katie was about to be eaten by a steelhead until Yami saved her by some type of unknown power that was running through Yami's body. This power injured Yami very badly, he couldn't even control it. This unknown power is actually a mystery.... until now~.

[Third POV]

It's been 2 days since Yami first showed his new powers, but ended up damaging his left arm pretty badly. Yami didn't like how this power hurted him after he uses it, Yami thought that it was better if he never uses it again. It could very dangerous for him even to control. In those 2 days, Yami has been relaxing and letting his arm healed, plus his legs were also healing, since it was sore from probably having a bit power coursing though as he made that huge leap to save Katie. Usually with his completely damaged arm, he should take months, maybe a year or more to fully heal, but to his surprise, his arm was healing fast, faster than normal. He can now move is arm just a little without much trouble. It was actually a little miracle for him, even his legs were fully healed already. The pain he had was hurting like h*ll, more than he received..from his bullies and others.

Anyways, it was night time in Inkopolis Square once again and everyone was asleep peacefully in their homes, everyone except for Yami. In the room that Yami is sleeping in, he was tossing and turning in his sleep. He wasn't having a nightmare nor a dream, something was happing inside of Yami's mindscape. Lets find out whats happening inside of Yami's head.

Inisde of Yami's mind, Yami was seeing only darkness, never ending darkness. Yami was confused and was checking his surroundings for any source of light that he can maybe find. Yami has no idea on where he is.

Yami: What the? Where the h*ll am I? Why..Why is there only darkness? Is..this a nightmare...my nightmare?

Yami pretty much has so many questions right now to ask. He really doesn't know on how he ended here in such a dark place. He remembered going to sleep after Katie finished nursing him again, to much to his annoyance, and just went to bed, but now he sooned arrived into this empty dark abyss. Usually Yami wouldn't care, but no normal human wouldn't care about this.

At first, Yami thought this was just a dream.. or nightmare, so he pinched himself hard, but he actually felt the pain of the pinch, so this wasn't a dream or a nightmare. Yami was becoming frustrated and wanted to leave as soon as possible, until he heard another voice in the dark abyss he was in. This voice made him feel a chill up his spine.

???: {Evil Chuckle} So, your the wielder of my power huh? Such a weak and pathetic human that had a very terrible life. Can't believe that a weak, unworthy human got lucky with my power. Such a disappointment~.

That voice was giving Yami the creeps and he went on high alert. Yami got a bit angry for being looked down on. Memories are starting to come back from when humans were still around and his bad life. Yami soon shook his head, trying to get rid of the bad thoughts and focus on who was in here with Yami.

Yami: Who are you?! How are you even here?! Show yourself now!

???: My, My, Aren't we impatient. {Evil Chuckle} Very well human. Dont go being scared now~.

Just then, red smoke started to form in front of Yami as he stepped back a bit and kept up his guard up.

For some reason, Yami's instincts were telling him to run and keep his guard up, but run to where exactly. From the red smoke, came another evil laugh and out came someone...who looked kinda human? He had blood red eyes and long/short hair that kinda goes to his shoulders. Yami still kept his guard up and glared at the mysterious person in front of him.

Yami: Who the h*ll are you?

???: Hoodini!

♢Take 2♢

???: Me? {Evil Smirk/Chuckle} In my world, I am feard by billions, I am your nightmare, I am the Destruction of Worlds, I am the death of millions and millions of humans, I am the Ultimate Life Form, I am Life and Death. I am the Demonic God..... Ketsueki Shinigami~.

Yami was very shocked, but Ketsueki could be lying about the whole demon whatever crap, so Yami pretty much said something that he was gonna regret.

Yami: Demon God my entire a$$! You look human to me! Your just a hum-

Before Yami could even finish his sentence, he felt an unbearable pain in his stomach, to which he fell on his knees while holding his stomach as he cough blood up. What happened was that Ketsueki kneed Yami in his stomach so hard to make sure he feels pain and to make sure Yami knows his place. Ketsueki was a bit angry, actually maybe a bit more than angry.

Ketsueki: Don't ever, EVER, call me or compare me to a worthless, pathetic, ugly human like yourself.

Ketsueki's voice was demonic once again from earlier and Yami was even too hurt to even respond. This pain..was unbearable, but for some reason..he like it? This was a very odd feeling to have. Anyways, Ketsueki grabbed Yami forcefully by the neck and lifted him up to eye level. Yami was pretty much still in pain as he couldn't really move, since he did got the wind knocked out of him.

Ketsueki: You better listen good and listen well human, cause I really don't have much left until you wake up. So, I'll answer only a bit of your questions that I know your gonna ask. Now shut up and listen insect!

Yami was a bit surprised of Ketsueki's normal voice for once. Anyways, Ketsueki then dropped Yami on the ground hard as Ketsueki crossed his arms and glared at Yami as he slowly and weakly gotten up while holding his stomach with one arm.

Ketsueki: Ok Insect-

Yami: I have a name a$$hole.

Ketsueki: Don't care, now let me continue! Now, as you know, that power you showed 2 days ago was power that came from me. However, you activated 100% of that destructive power, but only for a mere second when you landed that punch on that ugly looking gaint fish. Here's a little hint. Dont active 100% ever again cause the longer you use that power at 100%, your body wouldn't handle it at all and you would completely fall apart and you'll die.

Yami was quite shocked to be taking this all, especially hearing that his power is from this demon and the drawbacks are.... terrifying. Yami was gonna ask a question until Ketsueki started bursting out in laugher, which confused Yami.

Ketsueki: HAHAHAHA!!! Who would've thought that a weak and pathetic human, such as yourself, worthy of my power! What a joke! If my calculations is correct, you could probably only handle 3% or less of my power.

All of sudden, Ketsueki became serious.

Ketsueki: Still a bit impressive. If you were any weaker and couldn't even handle my power coursing through your veins, then you would've died after that punch. {Starts Chuckling Evil} It was probably a good thing you got bullied a lot. The pain made your body stronger.

Yami was speechless, but lucky he survived. He also...didn't wanted to be reminded about his past. However, Ketsueki was far from done of explaining everything.

Ketsueki: Now, you should probably know the name of my power.

Ketsueki then raised his hand a bit as red/black lighting formed around his hand as a black aura also forms around his hand.

Ketsueki: The name of my power...is Demonic For All

Yami: ...Demonic For All?

Ketsueki nodded.

Ketsueki: Yes. This power is very very deadly and destructive. This power is really amazing. This power was growing inside of me for centuries as it made me very unstoppable. However, you really dont get almost all of my abilities, like change your flesh into weapons--

Yami: 'Nani?'.

Ketsueki: or even regenerate your limbs. You only have my strength, speed, and original healing abilities. As you can tell, after getting injured from that punch, your body started healing fast right away, but your healing ability is not fully activated, so its probably gonna take a few days, instead a few minutes. Anyways, I really wont fully explain everything, but know this.

Ketsueki then crossed his arms again and glared at Yami in seriousness.

Ketsueki: Your only limited for Demonic For All is 30% when your training is fully complete. Thats the limit of how much power your body can truly handle, no amount of training can break that limit.

Yami was very quite shocked. Just only 30% once his training is complete? Thats his true limit? This really doesn't make any sense for Yami.

Yami: Just 30%? Thats it? Why? Why can't my body handle anymore than 30%?

Ketsueki: {Very Annoyed Sigh} As I said before, the drawbacks are deadly. The more power you have, pass 30%, the pressure and force on your body would be way too much for your puny human heart to handle fully as it explodes or your body will explode entirely.

Yami was even more shocked than before. This power was very deadly and a curse and Yami won't lie, he was a bit scared.

Ketsueki: Don't get me wrong human, I can care less if you die. Your just a weak and  a pathetic human to me, nothing more. I also don't care on how you use my power. You can be a so-called hero or a villian, I dont care at all. If you die, I promise to laugh at your grave. Just a heads up, my power just might mess with your negative emotions a bit until you get it under control and use to it.

Just then, Yami started to disappear a little. Yami was confused on whats happening now.

Ketsueki: Tch! Looks like your waking up. Good, this was a pain for me. See ya later human, I'll be watching~.

Yami then fully disappeared out of his mindscape as Ketsueki smirked evilly as he had his arms behind his back.

Ketsueki: {Evil Chuckle} Who knew that this weakling....is the reincarnation of The Ultimate Life Form from another universe. He has untap power locked away deep inside him... Chaos energy that is locked up. {Chuckles in Evil} Yami Akuma....such an interesting...being indeed. See ya next time...

Shadow~.

Ketsueki then disappeared into the dark abyss while laughing like a psychopath.

[In The Real World]

Yami quickly woken up in cold sweat and breathing heavily from his...nightmare as he calls it. Yami looked out the window to see it was still nighttime. It was midnight. He can't believe that everything was real. Yami wished it was a dream, but reality has different plans for him. Yami looked at his left hand and close it into a fist in determination.

Yami: If Ketsueki said was true, then I have to train to handle this power and make it my own. I know there is a way to break that stupid limiter.

Yami then got dressed in his dark clothes and his new disguise and headed out. He was going to go out of the city and find a good place to train and not worry about damage. Yami then looked into the stary night sky.

Yami: My life...is getting more weirder and odd....

(A/N): Alright! I hope you enjoy this short chapter/episode. These types of episodes are just "special events" (As I like to call it) that happens to the main character or probably other characters. This is also gonna happen in my other stories as well. Anyways, I hope you love this chapter and make sure to vote.
