Leo's POV
Once I got home I immediately went for the door handle and went inside. When I got in I saw Yui leaving the kitchen. "Hello Miss Yui." I said and she turned to me. She smiled and behind her was Yuki. I looked at his face... he seemed upset. He then began walking toward me and I closed my eyes preparing myself for the worst. I then felt arms wrapped around my body and when I opened my eyes I saw Yuki giving me a hug. "What did I say about being back by 9 PM?! I was worried!" Yuki said in a upset tone. Yuki was worried for me? "Sorry Yuki I lost track of time. The city was so pretty I couldn't stop exploring." I lied. "Well Leo please don't do that. I know you don't have a phone so I can't check up on you. Until then if you are going out please be back by the time I set for you." Yuki then looked at the things in my hoodie. "Um... Leo what are those things?" Crap! If he found out I went to my village he would freak out! I stayed silent and began to walk to my room. I closed the door leaving Yuki in confusion.

Yuki's POV
Why did Leo not say anything? Did he steal those things? No! That's crazy he's not that type of guy! Maybe he found those things in the city? I should ask him. I walked upstairs and went to his room. I was about to knock on the door until I heard a bump. Leo must be on his bed. I decided to leave him alone, he may be tried. As I went to my room I then heard Leo muffled through the wall. "Thank you guys." Who is he thanking? Did he bring someone or something home? I decided to eavesdrop.

Leo's POV
I took out the objects I got from the village. The plush, fur, rock, and picture were all safe. "Thank you guys." It was really thoughtful of them to give me this stuff. Each of the objects scents were soothing. I picked up the plush and began to think back on the times with my pack.

(Flashback)

I was playing tag with Jewel in the woods on the mountain. I was around 8 years old and Jewel was 12 years old. I wanted to spend more time with her because most of the time I play with May. I was "it" and I was chasing Jewel and while chasing I tripped and fell. Jewel heard me fall and went straight toward me. "Ouch." I said as I got up. I looked at my knees which were scraped. I looked back and saw that I tripped on a tree root.

Jewel's POV
Once I heard Leo fall I immediately went back to him. I saw his knees were scraped and I crouched down to him. "Does it hurt Leo?" I asked concerned. Leo nods and says "A little." I got up and went to find some Calendulas. These flowers would help treat his skin and help the scrapes heal. I looked around and I saw them under a tree. I grabbed a few and began to squeeze them which created a solution that will treat the wound. I began to run the solution on his knees and I helped him get up. "I think it's best we stop playing for now. I don't want you to get hurt Leo." Leo smiled at me and said "Thanks Jewel." That made me smile too. "You're welcome Little Leo." That made him blush a bit, but he laughed it off. "Jewel I thought you weren't going to call me that." "Well Leo come on it's kinda true. You're like a little brother to me." He smiled and we went back to the village.

(Flashback end)

Leo's POV
The thought of her calling me her little brother makes me smile. I really didn't hate that nickname Little Leo, it just made me a bit embarrassed. "Jewel... thank you big sis. I love you... and I miss you." I hugged the plush and put it on the side of my bed. I then picked up the fur from Kyle. I took it out of it's bag and began to feel it. It's still as soft as I remember. "Kyle... thank you. This fur feels just as soft as before." My mind began to wander as I felt the fur.

(Flashback)

I was in the pack house eating some of the leftover berries we collected. I was 11 years old and I was minding my own business until Kyle showed up. He was 15 years old and had a determined look in his eyes. "Alright Leo I challenge you to a race to see who is the fastest in our pack!" Kyle yelled. "Kyle are you sure? I mean you are faster than me." Kyle then pouted "That doesn't matter. I wanna show the others who's faster, plus it's good training." I sighed. "Alright Kyle. Where are we racing to?" He smiled "We're racing from the village to Haku Springs." Haku Springs was a secluded hot spring that our pack found and named. Only our pack knows the location. "Alright Kyle. You're On!" We then went to the outskirts of the village and prepared for the race.

Kyle's POV
Before I asked Leo to race me I pelted his path with rocks, small acorns, and branches. This is to give him an extra challenge, also so I can have a chance. Though I am faster than him he can get super fast if the conditions are right. The others don't know about the traps I placed and I asked Jewel to start us off. Malachi and May were waiting in the springs.
Now we're are on the outskirts of the village ready to race. Jewel began to start. "On your marks..." we positioned ourselves. "Get set..." out legs are now in position. "GO!" We dashed off! We began running down the mountain in the path of Haku Springs. I was ahead of Leo with him a little behind. I looked ahead and saw the acorns I set. I moved away from them and Leo ran into them. I looked back and he wasn't tripping or even noticing the acorns. I looked ahead and I gritted my teeth. Next we're the rocks. Leo noticed them this time and swerved in order to avoid them. This lowered his speed and I sped ahead of him.
Only a bit longer... then I saw Leo beside me. Damn! He's fast. I then saw the branches and moved away. This time Leo noticed and moved to my direction. He avoided the branches and I gritted my teeth. I then saw the Springs and Malachi and May. Leo then went beside me and we were neck and neck. It was so close but I transformed and dashed to the finish line. Once I got there Leo followed and I transformed back. Leo pouted "Hey no fair! You didn't say we could transform!" I smiled and rubbed the back of my head. Leo then smiled "You know since we're here how about a dip in the hot spring?" We all smiled and went into the spring.

(End of Flashback)

Leo's POV
I couldn't help but smile even though Kyle cheated. After all we treated ourselves despite that. I then put the fur back in its bag and pulled out the stone from May. We called it the Moonstone as it shines in the moonlight. I'll never forget that day.

(Flashback)

Me and May were playing hide and seek together. I was 9 and she was 11. I was hiding from May until I saw a stream. I decided to leave my spot and explore. The stream looked so pretty.

May's POV
As I began to look for Leo I noticed his scent wasn't strong. I know it was against the rules to find others with their scent, but it was something I couldn't ignore. I followed his scent until I saw him near a stream. I decided to play with him and I crept up on him. I taped his right shoulder and said "Found you!" He smiled and showed me something. "What is this?" I asked. "I don't know May, but it looks pretty." The thing he showed me was a stone that looked like glass but didn't shine. "Hey May..." I turned to Leo. "Why don't we take it back to the village?" "But who's going to keep it?" Leo then smiled "You of course!" My eyes widened. "M-Me?" "Yeah! Consider this a gift for playing with me!" I smiled and took the stone. We then went back to the village.
As we were getting back the sun began to set and eventually the moon came out. The stone in my hands began to shine as moonlight hit it. Me and Leo were in awe. It shined like a rainbow. "Hey Leo. We should call this a Moonstone. Cause it shines when the moon is out." He nodded and we continued to head back to the village.

Leo's POV
Calling it the Moonstone was not the most creative name, but it fit it so well. I got up and placed the Moonstone on my window sill so that way it can shine at night. I then went back to my bed and looked at the picture frame. "This... was our first picture together. And it was the most recent too."

(Flashback)

This was only a couple of months months ago. I was in the village talking to May and Jewel on the plans for upcoming festival that was happening in a few of months. We were discussing on the food, decorations, and entertainment until Kyle came. "Guys Malachi wants us near the spring." Kyle said. I looked at May and Jewel but they gave me a confused look. We followed Kyle to the springs and after a bit of time we got there with Malachi waiting.

Malachi's POV
This was something I wanted to show to everyone in our pack. I looked at the camera I found. It was old but still had enough film for a few pictures. "MALACHI! I BROUGHT THEM!" I could hear Kyle coming down the mountain. I saw him as well as Leo, May, and Jewel. Once they got to me I showed them what was in my hands. When they saw the camera their jaws opened. Leo began to sputter "W-Wait does this mean?" I nodded and said "Yes we are going to take a picture!"
Everyone was filled with excitement and wanted to take a picture. I began positioning them. Kyle to the left of me, Leo up front, Jewel to the right of me, and May to the left of Leo. I was behind Leo and I tried to get something to keep the camera up. I couldn't find anything and worse this camera didn't have a timer. "Guys wait here and don't move I'll be right back." I said. I transformed and went to the village so I can get a Lupis to take our picture.
(Time skip)
I got a random Lupis and managed to get her here to take the picture. Everyone was ready. "Alright ready? 1...2...3!" She took the picture. Once we got the picture everyone looked at it. After that we took it back to the village.

Leo's POV
I was so sucked in with my memories I didn't realize that I was crying. Drops of tears were hitting the frame. I dried my tears and I put the frame on my window sill next to the stone. I laid down on my bed so tired from the entire experience. "I am so tired" I said yawning. "I...just want... some... sleep" I then went to sleep.
