I was out in the forest of Mt. Haku with my pack. We were a five group pack and that was including me. The leader of the pack was Malachi, a Lupis with red hair, ears and tail. He was best at decision making, but often times can be hotheaded. His second in command was Kyle, he has orange hair and ears and tail to match, he is a strong and fast Lupis. He is fast and can attack with ease, but often doesn't think of the consequences. Next there was Jewel, and she was the prettiest of the group. She had white hair with her ears and tail were the same color. She was also a great tactician and loves messing with Malachi and Kyle. And finally May, she had brown hair with matching ears and tail. She loves to play and often times stays with me on the sidelines. At least I'm not alone back there.

While looking for food Malachi stopped and turned to us "Alright listen up" we listened intently. "Me, Kyle, May, and Jewel will go find a predator and attack it and bring back it's body. Leo you will find berries and other fruits. If we are not back here in an hour then find us." I nodded and everyone else went to go find a predator. It actually makes since, because food was starting to become a bit scarce so going out a bit far away from the village was a good idea for hunting. I went to go find for some fruit and found some apples as well as some blueberries. "These would be good for a side dish" I thought to myself. I then went back to the spot where we split up and waited.

I waited for a while, well for an hour I think. I then remembered what Malachi said. "If we are not back here in an hour come and find us." I then began to look for them with the fruit in hand. As I began walking I began to detect and strange scent. It smelled like... smelled like... like blood. That's a good sign that means the group was successful and killed a predator. I followed the scent until I managed to reach the where the scent was strongest.

I was horrified at what I saw. I saw dead wolves on the ground. I was so horrified that I dropped the fruit I collected. My jaw was open seeing four wolves and a bear dead before my eyes. "N-No... Malachi... Kyle... Jewel... May... what happened." I then looked closer at Malachi's body and saw a bullet in his fur. "No... this is a human bullet... that means... Oh no." If a human bullet was in Malachi's fur then hunters are nearby. Oh no that means the village is in danger. I have to get back! I turned away from the bodies and began running back to the village in my wolf form.

(Time skip)

I finally reached the village, but when I arrived I heard gunshots. I hid behind a tree and began to scope the area. I saw some Lupis fighting a group of hunters in their wolf form. They bit, tackled, and kicked the hunters, but then got shot. I saw more and more Lupis bodies drop dead, I was terrified. Then some hunters came with bags and razors and began to collect the fur from the dead Lupis. I then began to hear the hunters talk.

One said "Hey boss why did we kill the Lupis tribe? Couldn't we have just killed some random wolves?" The boss hunter then turned to the one who spoke and said "No. Our Client wanted Lupis fur and they can tell it's Lupis fur by the color, texture, and chemicals in their fur. If we gave him some random wolf fur we would be dead!" Then another hunter spoke "But boss why did we have to kill them all, what about those other Lupis we killed down the mountain?" The boss then said "The client said he needed over fifty bags of Lupis fur. Only killing a few wouldn't be enough."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I was in shock. They killed my pack, they killed my family, they killed my tribe, just for money? That is the worst thing anyone can do! Doing terrible things just for money! That is a sin that can't go unjustified! But I couldn't do anything, I was to afraid of what would happen to me. I then began to run away, but then I stepped on a branch and it snapped. "What was that?!" The boss said. They looked around until they saw me. "There! Look a Lupis!" One yelled. The boss then yelled "Alright boys GET HIM AND TAKE HIS FUR!" Then they began to charge at me.

I turned into my wolf form and began to run down the mountain. I could hear them reloading their guns and then they began firing on me. I dodged some of the bullets but some grazed me on my shoulders and knees, but I had to keep going. I kept on running until I passed a pile of cut down trees. I tried to move them in order to block the hunter's path and after some struggle I managed to do it. The hunters stopped at the blockade and I kept going down the mountain.

As I got closer to the base I transformed back into my human-like form. Blood was dripping from my shoulders and knees. I could barely walk anymore. The pain was terrible, and it was hard to endure it. But I managed to do it and got to the base of the mountain, and at the base was some kind of city. It was nighttime and dark so I was kinda safe. I walked down the sidewalk avoiding eye contact, but it was hard to keep walking with the pain. I then managed to find a dark alley where I could rest. I then sat down and tried to not think of the pain. Then... my stomach grumbled, I was so hungry. I then heard a soft "meow" and when I looked to see where it was coming from I saw a cat.

I began to lick my lips. I was so hungry I didn't care what I ate was raw. This cat would go to a good cause. I then began to show my teeth and got close to it, but then I looked into it's eyes and it looked scared. I put my teeth away and I let the cat go. I couldn't kill it, it wouldn't be right, after all I'm on the sidelines, I never killed an animal before. I began to hear distant footsteps and I panicked. What if they saw me? They would probably freak out! I tried to move but my legs were too weak. The footsteps then got louder and then I saw a dark figure right beside me.
