Normality Gone Wrong

***********************************************************************************************************************

Hey, Readers! So literally, I dreamed up this whole entire series in just a matter of a year (and yes, I'm one of those people who can remember their dreams). I think if I hadn't come up with A Dragon's Burning Love, THIS would've been the first fan-fiction I would've written. This story does include the basics: Fairy Tail, magic, etc. Lol Anyhoo, here's Chaper 1, ENJOOOOOY!

P.S- Lisanna is not a bad guy...You guys over react whenever she's a baddie -_-

Lucy P.O.V

I woke up to something heavy on top of my body.  I slowly fluttered my eyes open to see a familiar set of eyes staring at mine. I was so tired I began mumbling nonsense. "...Vir...go?"

"Do I look like I'd wear a maid's outfit, Luce?"

"But that would be funny!"

When I realized who it was, I screamed. I pushed the person out of the way and quickly covered myself with blankets. "NATSU! HAPPY!"

"Aye!" Happy cried.

"Don't need to scream!" Natsu hissed, covering his ears. I glared at the both of them in anger. Here they were again, popping into my room like it was just nothing! I groaned and covered my head with the covers. "Why do you keep doing this?" I groaned. "You have a girlfriend!"

"Yeah, but it's more fun with you. Lisanna just gets happy! You're reaction is always priceless!"

"It is, Lucy!" Happy laughed. "You do faces like this, and this, and this!" Happy began to supposedly imitate my faces, making me look like a fool. I threw a pillow at the blue cat, making him hit hard to the ground. "I need to tell Lisanna to put you on a leash."

After a quick shower and quick bite to eat, Natsu, Happy, and I walked over to Fairy Tail.  As we did, we met Lisanna by the canal. I gave her a hug, Natsu gave her a peck on the cheek, and Happy simply rested on her head. We walked together in our small little group as always until we reached the rest of our kind.

Fairy Tail.

The first thing I even heard before I stepped foot into the building was the sound of someone screeching my name. "LU-CHAN!" I found Levy running right behind me, shaking with fear. "Help me!"

"What's wrong?" I laughed.

"It's Gajeel!" She screamed. I found Gajeel slowly walking towards me, covered in what looked like blueberry sauce. I couldn't help myself but laugh. He simply smirked. "Hey Gajeel...feeling a little blue?" Natsu chuckled. We all laughed hysterically.

He scoffed. "Care to explain what happened, Shrimp?"

I could still feel Levy's hands shaking on my back. "I was carrying some blueberry sauce for Mira for her pie, and I didn't see Carla in front of me, so I tripped over her and...spilled the whole bowl on Gajeel..."

"Aw, c'mon Gajeel," Lisanna said, trying to hold in her laughs. "Can't you just forgive her this one time?"

Gajeel siged. "Fine. But she's gonna help me clean up. C'mon Shrimp." He walked past me and took Levy by the wrist and dragged her off to who knows where. "Lu-chaaaan!"

I sighed and gave Lisanna a shoulder nudge. "They're gonna date someday, ya know that right?"

"Oh, it's totally obvious! And we're gonna set them up!" Lisanna and I gave each other a high five and laughed as we walked over to the bar. Mirajane was there and asked, "What would you two like, girlies?"

"I'll have a large glass of mead, sis!"

"Alright! What about you, Lucy?"

"Um, what day is it?" I asked.

"It's the first of May, why?"

"Oh, no reason," I smiled. "Just a smoothie for me."

"Lucy...You're not pregnant, are you?!" Lisanna cried. I laughed at her ridiculous assumption. "No, of course not. I just don't want any alcohol."

"Suit yourself," Mira shrugged. As we waited for our drinks, I kept thinking about today's date. I took a glance at my right arm and sighed. Distant memories were suddenly popping in my head. Memories that I've been putting aside for such a long time. When our drinks came, I put it aside and paid attention to my Banana Berry Blast Smoothie. "So, how are you and Natsu?" I winked.

"We're doing fine, thank you very much," she laughed. "Last week was our three month anniversary."

"I thought you weren't gonna keep count," I said.

"Well...Oh, shut up! You'll understand when you're in my shoes!"

"Whatever," I sighed. Suddenly, Natsu and Happy walked over to us, sitting right next to Lisanna. Taking a sip of her mead, Natsu asked, "What are my girlfriend and my best friend talking about?"

"Oh, nothing much. What's up?" I asked.

"Well, I found a pretty interesting job with a high enough pay that can be equally split into four."

"It's a job in the mountains! 800,000 Jewels!" Happy exclaimed, jumping on to my lap.

"Well, I'm down if Lucy is," Lisanna said.

"Alright! Shall we go now?" I asked.

"Yeah! I'm all fired up!" We all got up and marched our way to our job. But for some reason, there was something deep inside of me that wasn't normal.

Familiar, yet not normal.

Natsu P.O.V

That was probably the easiest job we have ever done. The job was simple grab and return of some kind of statue. We were kind of disappointed, but hey, we got paid and that was all that mattered. We were walking down the mountain, listening to Happy talking about the fish statues the owner had. "And did you guys see the blue fish! It glistened like a pretty star in the sky!"

"We know, Happy," Lucy laughed. "This is the fifth time you've talked about it."

"Oh...Then what about the red fish!"

"No more!" Lucy said, playfully grabbing his ears. I smiled at Lucy. When I started having Lisanna as my girlfriend, I did my best trying to include her equally. But to my surprise, it brought her and Lisanna  closer. It brought all of us together.

"Hey Lucy, you're birthday is in a couple months," I said. "Gonna be eighteen!"

"Ugh, don't remind me," Lucy sighed.

"Aw, come one Lucy!" Lisanna exclaimed. "That's a big deal!"

"Not to me. I'd rather hang with you all and see a movie."

"Aw, don't be like...." I didn't finish my statement. I was too distracted by an image from the distance. It was moving and coming closer to us. "What is that?" I asked.

"I don't know." Happy said, squinting his eyes.

"Me neither," said Lisanna. Lucy wasn't saying anything. She was suddenly trembling, covering her mouth. I looked at the image and saw that it was a man. He was walking around, severly injured, moving from side to side. It was Lucy who broke the silence. "ONYX!"

She ran down the road to the man supposedly Onyx, who fell in her arms. Curious, we ran after her. "Lucy, what's going on?" Lisanna asked.

Lucy ignored us. Onyx had pitch black hair and had blood all over what looked like a suit. He had the most stunning silver eyes that stared at Lucy. His eyes widened. "...Lu....cy? Mkel.....kaal..tomare?"

Tears were streaming down her eyes. "Shh...Onyx, who has done this to you?"

"It...It was the Shlavek," he whispered, coughing up blood. "They...have been.....on a bloody rampage.."

"The Shlavek?" She asked. "What are the others doing?"

"Lucy, what the hell is going on?" I asked once more. She waved her hand at me, signalling me to shut up. Onyx began to speak once again.

"There are...no others..," he whispered.

Silence.

"W....What do you mean?" Lucy asked.

"All...lost. Including...me...I have...failed you...Koolya vak bilage."

I could see tears running down Lucy's face. She gently touched his face and whispered, "Sval goul ruus na ves tveel. You have done nothing to fail me."

He smiled. He slowly raised his arm and placed his hand on her forhead. "I hope...you'll pray for me...when I'm in Ksneeal."

Lucy gently grabbed his arm and kissed his forhead. "May the gods bless you, Onyx. My beloved friend."

And at that moment, Onyx closed his eyes. He never opened them again. His body turned faded, and then more faded, until he disappeared completely. Silence filled  the air. Happy broke that silence. "Lucy...what just happened?"

"Who was that man?" Lisanna asked.

"And what was that language you guys were speaking?"

"PLEASE," Lucy hissed. "Not right now...I have to think." She slowly began to cry softly. She wiped away her tears. "Lucy...do you mind answering our questions?"

"She'll answer yours right after she answers mine: how have you been?" We all looked up to see a man dressed in leather, holding two curved swords. Lucy looked up and quickly stood up. "EVERYONE STEP BACK!"

Confused, we obeyed her. This was all so confusing to all of us. There was definetely something Lucy hadn't told us, and it had to do with Onyx and that man. "I knew it...that night seven years ago! I knew it was you who I saw!"

"Congratulations, pesky Dragonite. We've been searching for you for years. We would've never guessed that you were living here, Fiore of all places."

"It's no business where I've been hiding! I've been starting a new life!" Lucy screamed. "I haven't made any contact with anyone from Halevana!"

"It doesn't matter, Dragonite. You and you're friends are done hiding!"

"These people have no idea what I am," Lucy said. "Leave them out of it."

"Oh, but I won't," the man hissed. "I think they have the right to know what you are. So, I think I'll do this." He took out his hand, and suddenly pointed at Lisanna. She came flying into his arms, screaming. "Natsu!"

"Lisanna!" I cried. My flames went off my hands. "LET GO OF HER!"

"You heard them, Dragonite. Show them who you really are. Are these people worth taking out the seal that can never be returned."

"Please," Lucy whispered, "don't make me do this."

"Unless you want this pretty girl's face disfigured by my swords, you might want to make a move fast." Lucy turned around and looked at me. Her face was wet with tears. She turned her head to Lisanna, and back at me. "My friends," she whispered, "please forgive me."

She muttered a few foreign words, and then a bright white light appeared, blinding me and everyone else at the area.
