Just Too Many Questions

Hey, Readers. I'm just gonna warn you about this now: I like constructive criticism a lot, I like people pointing out the errors I've made, hell, I even like it when people give me alternate ideas. But please, don't just flat out put hater comments. Keep them to yourself. And don't try commenting and deleting them. I STILL GET THEM THROUGH EMAIL! We may just be a bunch of people writing on the internet, but hey, we have feelings too. So yeah, just sayin', think before you post. Anyhoo, here's Chapter 7, enjoy.

Lucy P.O.V
I closed my eyes and concentrated on the world around me. The wind, the sky, the earth beneath me; the aura all around me began to flow within my body. I was sitting cris cross on the ground on a giant hill away from the village. I needed some space with all that was going on. Natsu had been unconscious for three days now, showing no signs of waking up. The village was practically stressing out over the whole Shlavek incident and began worrying for my sake. I just needed to escpape, even if it was just for a few minutes.
I emptied everything from my mind. I relaxed my body and practically melted my soul into nature. The world around me began to swirl into darkness. From a distance, I could see a shimmer of light from the distance. I slowly began to float towards the light, feeling a strong force of power from it. I floated faster and faster and faster, until I could see is light. The air was filled with flourescent colors of pink, yellow, and purple. I was now deep inside my vuuara, or my inner dragon soul. This was the only way I could talk to Hana without using so much magic. "Hana!" I called out. "Hana!"
A big clear ball began to slowly float to my presence, and Hana then popped out, flying all around me and gently wrapping me with her love. "What brings you inside your vuuara, Lucilia?" She asked.
"I just...I just needed someone to talk to," I said. "The village is in shock, Natsu's unconscious, Shira is trying to come with a formula to wake him up, and Happy won't leave his side...And it's all my fault."
"It was never your fault, child," Hana tried to comfort, pressing her muzzle against my forehead. "It was the damn Shlavek fault."
"But I'm the one their after!" I cried. "I'm the one who's causing all this! Maybe...Maybe I should just...give up."
"DONT YOU DARE!" Hana suddenly roared. "You are the last of your kind; the last of the mighty Dragonite clan! DO you really want to put all those who's died for survival into shame! You're mother as well!"
"I haven't seen my mother in years, Hana!" I cried. "I don't even know if she survived or not!"
"You know very well that if your mother was dead, your dragon magic would disappear, as well as me." I looked away, not willing to admit that she was right. A Dragonite's magic was connected through their parent's essence. As long as my mother was alive, both my powers and Hana would still be with me. It's up to the parent's death wish that decides what will happen of the child. "If she were alive, she would've come for me by now."
"She will come someday," Hana sighed, placing her claws on my face. "Patience is all you need." I sighed and floated away from Hana. I looked my arm that was covered in Dragsos Rubos, or Dragon Stones. When I was hatched from my egg, I was the only Dragonite who bore of the Dragsos Rubos. I remember the local priestess telling me that I would possess something great; something wonderful that could bring peace and joy to the world of us hybrids. But I was beginning to think it was the opposite. A curse.
"It's best that you head back to the Human World, Lucy. You know time is different here than there," Hana sighed, gently touching my skin. I silently nodded, touching her claw back as thanks for talking to me. She knew what I meant. I closed my eyes and felt myself float full speed back to the Human World.
When I woke up, it was night. The stars were as bright as they could be, and the village was shimmering with light from afar. It might've hours that have gone by, when I've only talked to Hana for ten to twenty minutes. I slowly got up and walked back down the hill. I was utterly exhausted. Even though the travel to my vuuara didn't use up my magic, it did drain my energy. Damn, I forgot how long it's been since I've done a vuuara travel.
I arrived at the village and headed straight for my hut. When I opened the door, I saw a bandaged up Natsu standing by the kitchen drinking a wooden cup of water. I smiled with relief, placing my hand over my weary chest. "You're awake."
Natsu nodded. "Been awake for a about four hours actually. I was just about to go look for you."
"In those bandages? I doubt you'd make it past the clearing," I said, walking close to him. I suddenly began to feel lightheaded and lost my footing, falling foreword. Suddenly, I felt two warm muscular arms around me. It took me a while to realize that it was Natsu who had just caught me. "H-Hey, are you alright?" Natsu asked. I nodded. I grabbed his shoulder for support. "I just lost some energy, that's all. You should be concerned about yourself."
"Like hell I will," Natsu grumbled. "Come on, let's go lay you down." Natsu supported me the whole time as he walked the two of us over the room next door. He slowly helped me lay down on the thin mattress, relaxing my tense muscles. I thanked him and asked, "Where's Shira and Happy?"
"They decided to help with the repairs a few hours ago."
I smiled. "That's nice of them." I sighed and slowly closed my eyes. I could still feel Natsu's presence next to me, making me feel more protected. We were now alone in the hut. There was no one to interrupt us, or spy on us. Just us. "Natsu...why are you truly mad at me?"
"Huh?"
"I just want to know. I want an explanation on why you're suddenly hating my guts. And please, don't give me that 'betraying me' bull." Silence filled the room. All I could hear was the sound of Natsu's breathing. I could suddenly feel him lay down next to me, his hand brushing against mine. "I've been an ass, haven't I?" I didn't say anything. I was too nervous to. Would he suddenly lash out, or would he be sincere? Either way, he continued on. "I guess...I guess I was just mad that you didn't tell me of all people. I mean, we are best friends, right? I thought that we didn't keep secrets from each other." I looked up and saw that his face was no longer angry, but only to be replaced by a hurt look.
"I was scared," I told him. "Scared that I would be considered as...a monster."
"I could never see you as a monster, Luce." That was the first time in a while that he had called me that. I could feel my eyes burning with tears, but I fought them off. My arm reached out, trying to find some part of Natsu. I felt his fingertips touch mine. Natsu held my hand. "I'm...I'm sorry Luce...I've been treating you like shit when you don't even deserve it...Could you ever forgive me?"
By the time he said that, I had already gotten up and given him a hug. I wrapped my arms tightly around me, burying my face into the bandages of his chest. I could feel his arms slowly wrap themselves around my back, pressing me closer to him. "You don't even have to ask Natsu," I whispered. "You don't even have to ask."
Natsu P.O.V
I had promised to stay with Lucy until she fell asleep. She laid on the mattress dead asleep, holding on to my hand as if for dear life. I couldn't help myself but smile. I had finally reconciled with Lucy after acting like a complete idiot for days. For some reason, Lucy looked a lot different asleep than she normally did. She was smiling while she was asleep, her skin looked a lot more vibrant, and her hair suddenly fell perfectly in place. Her hair was a lot more gold than before she became a Dragonite. A lot more...pretty.
Suddenly, I heard the sound of giggling from the other room. The door slid open, and in came Happy and Shira. They silenced their laughing when they saw the sleeping Lucy by my lap. Shira gasped a littly, but Happy just looked happy. Shira walked in and whispered, "I haven't seen her sleep this peacefully since she got here. What happened?" She asked.
I smiled. "Something good."
"Did you and Lucy make up?" Happy asked. I nodded. "Thank goodness! I hated seeing the two of you fight."
"Yeah, sorry about that bud. It won't happen again, I promise." Happy smiled. He then yawned and slowly walked his way over to Lucy's side. He snuggled next to Lucy's chest and muttered, "I don't like hard work, Natsu...Can we get fish tomorrow?" I chuckled and began to rub his ears as he drifted off to sleep. "Sure thing, little guy." As the two of them slept together in peace, I quietly crept my way out of the room. I sighed and then realized that Shira was giving me a smirk from a distance. "What are you looking at, kid?"
"Nothing, just didn't know that you were a softy," she chuckled.
"W-What? Me, soft? You're joking."
"Oh really? 'I'm sorry Luce. I've been treating you like shit when you don't even deserve it. Could you ever forgive me?' You sounded very soft."
My eyes widened. "You were there?"
She laughed out loud. "You obviously don't know the extent of psychic powers. I have the power of bilocation. I can be at multiple places all at once. And I just so happened to stumble here at the right moment at the right time." God damn, this kid was getting on my nerves. Usually, I would hurt the innocent, but Shira was really pushing it here. I pressed my back against the wall and sighed. "You're hiding something from her, aren't you?"
I tensed up. "How do you know?"
"Empathy link. You're feeling guilty about something, and your mind is clouded by one thing Those are the signs of secrecy." I hated to admit it, but I was hiding something from Lucy. Something that I knew I should've told her since she first entered the hut tonight. The memory was still pounding my head as if I had just consumed a thousand shots with Cana:
I wasn't in Halevana. I wasn't at Fairy Tail. I didn't know where I was, but it definitely wasn't your typical household. It was a one-story palace. The walls were glistening with red rubies and diamonds, and the ceilings had murals and galleries of different painting styles and pictures. The floor was so shiny that I could've seen my own reflection. But for some reason, I couldn't. I raised my hand in front of my face and examined it. It's...It's transparent, I thought to myself. Suddenly, I began to hear footsteps from another room. The door flew open, and out came a beautiful woman.
She was probably the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Her hair was long and white and put into a braided pony tail. She wore similar clothing that Lucy's village usually wore: a two-piece silk dress that almost looked as if they were made of scales, but they weren't. She was began twirling around barefooted, carrying a giant black record. She was humming a foreign tune as she twirled over to the record player. She inserted the record into the record player, and Eastern music began to play. She sighed and began to sway from side to side. She's...beautiful," I continued to think in my head.
Suddenly, there was a rapid knock at the main door. The woman ceased dancing and curiously walked over to the door. She strangely hesitated on opening the door. She did after there was a second series of knocks. She opened the door, and then a man fell through the door, covered in blood. The woman gasped in horror. The man was a tall tan, short red-headed man who's cloak was soaked in blood. I tried to help aid the man, but my fingers simply slipped through the body. The woman stared horrifyingly at the bleeding man. She wrapped her hands around the man's body and dragged him to the nearest couch. She ran over to a tall wooden cabinet and took out a small box. She rushed back over to the man's side and opened the box that was filled with viles and herbs. She crushed up the leaves and added different liquids into a vile. She mixed them up, and the vile turned from a nasty-looking green to a vibrant yellow.
She spilled the liquid into her hand and began to rub the wounds with it. The man winced with pain, but slowly relaxed his muscles after his wounds slowly began to heal. He slowly began to relax and fell into a deep sleep. The woman blindly stared at the man whom she had just healed, and so was I. What is all this? A dream? A vision?
Slowly, everything was turning into swirls of darkness. The house, the woman, the man, the sunlight that made the house sparkle, everything turned black.
And that was when I woke up. I had gotten a giant head ache and for the rest of the day, that was all day. I still, even after hours of thinking, couldn't figure out what that dream meant. I looked over at Shira, and by the look on her face, she had already seen what I had seen. I groaned, rubbing my hand against my forehead. "Do you know what it means?"
Shira just shrugged. "I'm not allowed to give you spoilers, Natsu. you just have to wait and figure it out yourself."
"But how? I'm stuck here dealing with Lucy and the Shlavek business. You can't tell me one tiny thing?"
"It is connected to all this," she told me "you just haven't figured it out yet. Now, if you excuse me, I'm sweaty and covered in dirt. I think a bath is neccessary, don't you?" With that, she innocently skipped her way out of the hut. This was all turning into a hot mess. A very good mystery is what Lucy would've called it.
Too bad I hated mysteries.
