~Obito POV~

Kiyoshi looked on edge as we piled into the living room of the Nemikaze Compound. The living room was huge to say at least. It had an enormous sectional couch facing the wall, a love seat to the right of the couch, two giant reclining chairs, a glass coffee table in the middle of everything, and a dressing table with the biggest TV I've ever seem on it. Kiyoshi's Kaachan was in their kitchen when we walked in. She smiled at Kiyoshi and went back to doing whatever she was doing.

Kiyoshi didn't sit anywhere she stood in front of the TV and kept pacing back and forth. Rin and I sat on the couch and Bakashi sat on the chair closest to Kiyoshi. "So what was all of that about." I asked. Kiyoshi stopped pacing and took a deep breath. "You cannot tell anyone about this. It's confidential. And whatever you do don't tell Minato-nii about the guys from earlier today."

"Do you guys remember the lesson we had in class about Jinchuriki?" Kiyoshi asked nervously. "Yes." Rin answered. I nodded after racking my brain for the answer. "Yeah, they are the human sacrifices that hold a chakra beast inside them. Like Kushina." Kiyoshi cringed at my answer but nodded.

"Yeah. Human sacrifices. You see, like Kushina there are ten Jinchuriki around the world. They are the vessels for the Tailed Beast. The first nine beast came from the chakra of the tenth. Each of these chakra beings came from the Divine Tree, Shinju, who is the beginning of chakra and the pure form of the Ten Tails. Each beast has a name, feelings, and pain factor like any other living creature to ever exist. Because of their immense chakra reserves all of the nations, even the smaller ones like the Grass, Waterfall, and Rain have sought after theses beast in hopes to use them as a weapon, a pawn, a mindless soldier that follows all orders and doesn't have a mind. The Leaf is lucky enough to have two of the most powerful tailed beast. Don't mistake them for the most powerful Jinchuriki though. Anyway, the Leaf has the Nine Tails, Kurama, who's Jinchuriki is Kushina, and the Ten Tails, Shinju." Kiyoshi lectured.

"Who's the Ten Tails Jinchuriki and what does that have to do with the guys from earlier and how they talked about you?" I asked getting kind of annoyed. Kiyoshi looked at Bakashi for encouragement for reasons unknown to me. He was a baka and annoying and always went on and on about the rules and regulations of being a shinobi and crap. But I did notice he was different around Kiyoshi and her family, like he let his guard down when around them.

Bakashi nodded encouragingly. "Because I'm the Ten Tails Jinchuriki." Kiyoshi blurted out before cringing. She sat down in the recliner beside Kakashi's and buried her head in her hands. "I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." 

I blinked fast a few times. Kiyoshi was a freaking Jinchuriki. Oh snap! I have to tell someone! Wait! She looks upset. Why does she look upset? Does she seriously think that would change anything? I mean it kinda does, but not like we'll stop being friends or anything like that. Just, she's a freaking Jinchuriki.

~Rin POV~

Kiyoshi is the Ten Tails. The Ten Tails! That monster every one is told to stay away from is inside her! That's, that's scary. She must be so powerful to contain that much chakra. She and Kakashi-kun and even Obito-kun are so much farther ahead of me even though we just became genin. 

"C-Can you show us the Ten Tails?" Obito-kun asked sheepishly. Kiyoshi looked to see if her kaachan was watching us before reaching out her hand. "Don't say anything or touch him. Understood?" Kiyoshi instructed. "Hai!" We both answered before taking her hand. She held out her other hand to Kakashi who took it reluctantly.

"Oh, and close your eyes." The three of us complied and I felt a slight tug at my gut. After Kiyoshi told us to open our eyes I found us in a dark plain with a weathered, old, tree fight in front of us. "Vaatu! Shinju! You have some admirers!" Kiyoshi yelled. The red eyes turned towards Kiyoshi and the tree had something inside it that started to move. I yelped and stepped back into Kakashi. He looked at me then the tree. "Don't show any fear, Vaatu feeds off it." Kakashi told me. "We aren't here for Vaatu, I'll show you guys Shinju then we are leaving." Kiyoshi stated. 

She seemed on edge when it came to the tree, more like the thing inside, Vaatu, whatever that is. When we started walking I noticed the ground was squishy like foam or almost dried mud. "What is the ground made of?" I asked curiously. "Evil souls that didn't deserve to go to the fields of punishment." 

I heard Obito gulp at Kakashi's answer. He started walking faster towards the two who knew their way around here. "So Kiyoshi, what does the Ten Tails look like?" I asked. "He's, well, you'll see." Kiyoshi answered. "Grey-brown skin as hard as rock." Kakashi started. "Red Rinne Sharingan eyes." Kiyoshi continued. "Ten tails that are almost as long as half the village." Kakashi nudged Kiyoshi playfully. "He's a giant in all regards. One hand is the size of the other Tailed Beast." Kiyoshi smiled. 

The two seemed every comfortable together, kind of like how Kiyoshi is with Minato-Sensei and Kushina-san. Kakashi-kun didn't act like that towards anyone else especially the team. He laughs and smiles and jokes around like a regular kid. Why was like that only around her? Did he not trust us? Where we really just teammates he was forced to be around to him? Did he not care about any of us like we did for him? Did we bother him that much? We weren't friends to him, were we?

"Shinju~!" Kiyoshi called with a hint of pure joy in her voice. I noticed we were finally in front of the metal gate. The red eyes that had been following us were now right in front of us. "The Ten Tails..." I breathed out. Obito-kun was frozen beside me. 

A light came from out of nowhere and lit up the cage the Ten Tails was in. Everything Kakashi-kun and Kiyoshi described it as was nothing compared to the thing. It was massive, ugly, scary looking. I was terrified to say at the least. How did someone as small as Kiyoshi hold the Ten Tails in her? How was all of this in her? 

"It's a mental plain." Kiyoshi said out of the blue. I looked at her in question, she did tell us not to speak didn't she? "I can tell you're wondering about the place." She told me. I nodded in response. "Shinju, be nice and introduce yourself." Kiyoshi huffed in fake annoyance. "I will not do as you say petty Avatar." The Ten Tails said. He had a really deep voice and it was gruff, like he hadn't had anything to drink ever. Wait a second, did he call her Avatar? That had to be my imagination.

"Shinju, be nice, they were the ones that wanted to visit. You're supposed to be nice to guest ya know." Kiyoshi teased. "Hello petty mortals, leave me in peace." The Ten Tails told us. Obito waved awkwardly and I smiled. Kiyoshi looked really pissed at his attitude. "WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT BEING NICE?" She asked. She held her hand up and threw it down like she was dropping something. A red torii fell from the sky and landed over the Ten Tails neck rendering his head motionless.

"FINE!!" He roared back. "JUST GET THIS STUPID GATE OFF ME!" Kiyoshi went back to her regular carefree, loud, happy, hyperactive self and the torii disappeared. The Ten Tails got off the ground and turned away from us. "Shinju, don't be that way. Just say hi in a nice manner and we'll leave you alone." Kiyoshi huffed. "Hello." He grumbled. "Thank you Shinju, I'll see you later." Kiyoshi smiled. She told us to close our eyes again and we were back in the Nemikaze living room.

"That was the coolest thing ever!" Obito yelled immediately. Kiyoshi smiled weakly. "Thanks. I need some rest, it took most of my chakra doing that. I'll see you guys later." With that she got up and headed to her room. Obito-kun, Kakashi-kun and I left the Nemikaze Compound as well. All I could think was how amazing it was to meant a Tailed Beast.
