"Eric? I should've known! All those girls wouldn't be crowding around no one other than this idiot." Jennie chuckled,

Eric reached out to shake Yuki's hands and smiled, "Hello! You must be Yuki, I've heard all about you from this bean head!"

Yuki stared in shock trying to process what this strange guy just said, until she realized and started laughing uproariously nonstop.

"B-bean head?! Did you just call me bean head?! Eric! Now she won't stop calling me that!" Jennie laughed, jokingly punching Eric's arm.

"Well, you said I was an idiot, now we're even!"

Jennie turned around to Yuki and smiled, it was the first time she has seen her laughing like that in years.

Eric leaned against the red lockers and asked, "So are you two going anywhere after school?"

Jennie unlocked her phone to check the time, "We're late! Your mother asked me to take you shopping for your welcome back party, we're super late! Let's go!" She exclaimed then held Yuki's hands and grabbed their matching black Nike bags.

"Wait!"

"Did you replace me that easily?" Eric jokingly pouted

Jennie rolled her eyes, "Fine, come with us."

"Yay! I can help you pick out your outfits! I did go to fashion school after all."

Yuki stepped down the stairs in her ankle strap heels, into the ballroom, her mother insisted on her having a grand entrance. She wore a flowy carmine gown with the plunging neckline showing off her sharp collarbone and her soft pale skin. Her long dark chocolate, luxuriously curled hair brushing against her exposed back. Everyone's heads turned when she walked down.

Yuki looked around impressed, she never imagined herself living in a mansion like this, it felt like a dream. She still couldn't believe it. The ballroom was her favorite, it was beautifully appointed with dozens of fancy crystal chandeliers hanging from the sky-blue ceiling, the walls were a glittering gold, bright and shiny. Yuki felt like the princesses she dreamt of being when she was younger.

"I gotta say, the dress Eric picked is gorgeous," Jennie said, before taking another sip from the iced tea she was holding.

Jennie wore a black short bodycon dress, that complimented her hourglass body and her raven hair with black platform heels. Her favorite color is black, she always says that it 'matches' her soul and personality, but everyone knows that she's such a sweetheart.

"Yuki, come with me for a second." Yuki's mom whispered in her ears before taking her to the hallway away from all the noise and music playing.

"What's the matter, mum?"

"Your dad wants to talk to you.."

Yuki looked at her mother confused, "Why doesn't he join us? I haven't seen him since I got here"

"He hasn't returned from his business trip yet, he wants you to call him," She sighed,

Yuki nodded and unlocked her phone then started dialing her father's number as her mother walked back into the ballroom.

"H-hello?" He stuttered

"Hey dad it's me"'

"Oh, hey sweetheart! Sorry I couldn't be home with you and your mother and brother. There was a lot of work that had to be done in our company.."

"It's okay, dad. Just take good care of yourself."

"Okay, you should go, have fun at your party. Don't mind me, we can always have our small parties just for the four of us like we always did. Bye, Take care."

"Alright, bye."

Yuki stared at the black screen of her cell phone and sighed before walking back into the ballroom.

Jennie whispered before shoving another red velvet cupcake into her mouth "Yuki! Where are you going??"

Yuki lifted her gown and ran into the maze holding Jennie's hands to follow her. They made a few twists and turns till they reached Yuki's room, or what she liked to call her 'Secret hideout room 227'. Yuki opened the door to her room and lead Jennie in.

"Woah! What is this place?"

Jennie looked around, it was a two-story room with bookshelves surrounding almost the whole place. it looked like a library but with a large bed that looked soft as a cloud. The place looked bigger from the inside, it even had a fridge and a wheeled ladder to climb and get books from this round towering ceiling that was painted into a galaxy.

There was a golden box that was carefully placed in the corner of the room that caught Jennie's eyes, It had writing carved on the left side 'To my dear, Nakamara Choco'. Jennie carefully opened the box to find light blue m&ms? They looked bigger than normal m&m's and shinier.

"Yuki, what is this?" Jennie asked, examining the candy.

Yuki stepped out of her walk-in the closet holding two bunny costume

"The hell is that..?" Jennie's eyes widened,

Yuki's eyes twinkled, "We're gonna wear these! Just like when we were younger, remember?"

"Uhh.. why do you still have them? I'm not wearing that."

"Please~" she pouted,

"Fine, but just the bunny ears."

Yuki places the bunny ears on Jennie's head and beamed, "what is it that you wanted to tell me?"

Jennie grabbed the golden box and questioned, Handing it to Yuki. "who is 'Nakamara Choco'?"

Yuki examined the carving then raised an eyebrow, "this isn't grandpa's handwriting. Nakamara Choco is my grandma, my mum's mother, she's the one I told you about. The Moonchild before me." Yuki took one of the blue lollies out, it smelt like fresh raspberry.

Jennie took one out and ate it without hesitation.  "Hey! Are you out of your mind? You don't know what's in that!" Yuki exclaimed in shock

Jennie looked at her and said, "Chill. It looks new. Besides, the box is half empty so it probably- " Jennie's eyes widened as she covered her mouth.  "Jennie! What's happening?!" Yuki stood up in surprise,

Jennie stayed silent for a few seconds then exclaimed, "Oh my lord... Am I in heaven?! Give me more!" Jennie pulled the box and filled her mouth with the lollies.

Yuki stared at Jennie as she began sucking on each piece, "Does it taste that great..?"

"Try it!"

Jennie handed Yuki the box as she took one blue lolly and cautiously ate it.

Yuki's eyes lit up as she took another piece one after another, till the box emptied.

"This tastes divine! it's addicting! Where can we get more?!" Yuki babbled as she stormed towards the drawers hoping to find another box

"Y-Yuki..."

Yuki looked up to face Jennie, her eyes were glowing blue and so did her hair, her hair that used to be darker than the night sky is now bright glowing blue.

They both stared at each other before screaming their lungs out in horror. "Why are you screaming?! Jennie, your hair is blue! your eyes too?! Oh my god" Yuki screamed in shock, her eyes so wide it looked like it'd pop out.

"Yuki! Your hair! Y-y-your eyes! Your.." Jennie stuttered then passed out on the ground.

...

Yuki walked out of the maze, thinking about how she would respond if someone asked her about her hair and eye color. Yuki left Jennie in her room to rest while she went to get her something to drink. The fridge in Yuki's room was big but empty since she hasn't put anything in there yet.

"There you are."

Yuki looked up searching for the source of that husky low voice just to spot the same person she tried her best to avoid,

Sorry for publishing this so late! I got busy with school again :( I really want to publish a chapter every day but it seems impossible with everything else I'm working on D: I'll try though!
