Diana POV

"I'm so sorry I'm late!" I said as I ran into the room earning stares from nearly thirty toddlers and their parents, "I got pizza." I said as I reopened the door revealing twenty-five pizzas. "Wow Diana, you really go all out for your kid's birthday." Steve said, "Wouldn't you do this for Ian?" I said, "You've got a point." he said with a slight laugh, "It's nice, but when Morgan turned three, we went all out. I'm taking renting out Dolphin's Stadium in Coast City, fully catered, and live entertainment." Tony said, "Yes, but we're not the third richest man in the world." I said, "Second now. Lex got arrested and his assets were forfeited." he said as he took a drink of his whiskey, "And here I am struggling to find entertainment for my baby's party. The girl I hired to play Wonder Woman bailed on me, so now I have to do it." I said, "I had to run to a costume shop and get a Halloween costume." I said, "It can't be that bad, let's see the costume." Steve said as I took the costume out of the bag, "Yikes, b-but I bet it'll look great on you Diana." Tony said, "Oh wow, I feel bad for whoever has to wear that." Bruce said, "Bruce, honey, let's have a chat about manners." Natasha said as she dragged her husband away, "I'm gonna go change." I said as I went to my room.

"Gods Bruce was right. I can't believe I paid eighty bucks for this! It feels so cheap, and I've seen girls on the internet cosplay me better with less!" I said as I opened the secret panel in the back of my closet, "Am I really willing to reveal my secret identity over this?" I questioned as Tonty texted me asking where's Wonder Woman, "Yes, yes I am." I said as I tore the terrible costume off and put on my real costume before texting Tony to take everyone out to the backyard. " Put on a harness and climbed out onto the roof and hid. Once everyone was outside I flipped off of the roof and did the classic superhero landing. I took off the harness and stood up, "Wow." Steve said, "I made it work, but Good that's murder on the knees." I said, "D, how'd you do that?!" Tony asked in shock, "Oh that, I used to do a lot of stunt work for my old job." I lied.

About three hours later after almost all the guests had left and Ian, Morgan, and (y/n) had fallen asleep, Tony, Steve, and I decided to have a drink. "Well we should get going, it's getting late and the kids have soccer in the morning." Steve said as he and Tony began to leave with their kids, "Sorry, I'm late, you know how bad Gotham traffic can be." Bruce said as he entered my house, "Bruce! I wasn't expecting you." I said, "Well I couldn't miss your boy's big day, could I?" he said, "Bruce Wayne, a pleasure to meet you, I'm Tony Star..." Tony began to say, "I know who you are." Bruce said, "Well I'd like to share my vision with you, I can see a suit of armor around the world, and with your..." Tony said before Bruce stopped him, "We have the Justice League to protect the world, We don't need anything like that." Bruce said as he escorted Tony and Steve out, "I'll see you guys next week at the PTA meeting. Drive safe." I said as I closed the door. "I told you, I'm not coming back." I said, "Then why'd you put on the suit?" he said, "Because I wanted my baby to have a good party." I said, "We need you, Diana. With Clark gone..." he said, "I'll think about it. But Bruce maybe it's time for you to settle down, find a nice girl, have a normal life, maybe have another kid and actually raise this one?" I said, "A nice girl like you, you mean." He said, "Maybe, maybe not, but (y/n) does need a father so I wouldn't be opposed." I said, "Why not settle down with Steve or Tony?" he asked as I poured us both a glass of scotch, "Bruce Tony's in the process of getting a divorce because he and his wife cheated on each other, and I'm ninety-three percent sure that Steve is gay. Or at the very least he's bi and uninterested." I said, "He's bi and was interested in you at one point." he said, "So you've been spying on me I see. Well then mind telling me where my ex ran off to? He owes me three years of child support." I said, "I could, but I doubt you'll like hearing where he went." he said, "Bruce I'm a big girl I can take it...maybe let me get a few drinks in me first." I said as I downed my scotch, "He's in Star City, with his wife of twelve years, and his four kids." he said, "See that's why I wanted the drinks first." I said, "If it makes you feel better, he's gonna get arrested tomorrow." he said, "For what? And why would that make me feel better?" I said, "He's getting arrested for infidelity, public intoxication, and for piracy." he said, "That makes me feel a little better." I said with a smile, "Why don't you spend the night." I said. 

The next morning Bruce took (y/n) to school for me, but I soon got a call saying that my son's school was being held, hostage. I left work and flew home, "No one messes with my son and gets away with it!" I said as I put on my suit and a mask before flying to the school and burst through the roof, "Kids get down and do not move until I say so!" I said as the gunmen fired at me, but I blocked their bullets, "Now you boys made a mistake." I said as I grabbed their guns and crushed them, "My son goes to this school, and if a single hair on his head is out of place, well you'll know what it feels like to be flung into orbit. Do I make myself clear?" I said, "Y-Yes!" they said, "Good now grit your teeth!" I said as I punched them. "Moommy's mad and you idiots are gonna pay." I said as I walked out of the classroom and tracked down each of the gunmen knocking each one out. "The auditorium is the last room to clear." I said as I entered the auditorium and found the final gunman holding Morgan hostage, "NOT A STEP CLOSER!" the gunman shouted, "Your name is Morgan, isn't it? Your daddy asked me to come save you, but I'll need your help. Can you be a big girl and help me?" I said, "Y-es." Morgan sniffled, "Good girl, you're very very brave, what I need you to do is close your eyes as tight as you can and go to your happy place until I tell you to open your eyes. Can you do that?" I said as she closed her eyes, "You can do whatever you want with me, but let her go!" I said, "You always were my favorite hero, maybe if you give me a little...adult fun, I'll let her go." he said, "Fine, it's just sex." I said, "As tempting as that is, I'll have to pass. I heard you have a kid, I wanna see the pain in your eyes knowing that you'll never see 'em again." he said as he pointed his pistol at my head and fired, I deflected the bullet back into his head. I ran to Morgan and picked her up. "You could've stepped in." I said as Batman stepped out of the shadows. 

"I did." he said as he moved his cape revealing eleven gunmen unconscious behind him. I carried Morgan out to the hall, "Go find a teacher Sweetie, tell them to take everyone outside." I said before letting her run off. "I want back in." I said, "Are you sure? You have a nice life." he said, "This world isn't safe! My baby isn't safe! He isn't like me he's not a superhuman!" I said, "How can you be sure?" he asked, "I can't, but I don't want him to be like me." I said, "I need to make this world safe, for my son, and for all children." I said, "Well then, welcome back, Wonder Woman." He said as he gave me my credentials and a communicator.
