Edge POV

I never thought I would hear that name ever. I ran up to the girl as she got scared.

"Where did you last see her?" I asked impatiently.

"Back in the tunnel," she said," I think she walked back." Why?

"What is your name?!" I asked as I turned to the 32 year old. She got scared a bit.

"Mia," she said," What's wrong? What happened?"

"Nothing. Watch these girls and look for he..lp..," I stuttered felt the pain rise. I stumbled my way back. I walked down the dark halls and back to the room. I looked around until I saw one last girl.

"War?" I asked, pleading in my mind that this girl is her. She tilted her head and looked at me.

"Ed..g...e?" she said as her words stumbled. Darkness fill the room as she felt fear, anger, bitterness, sorrow.

"HAHAHAHAHHAAAHA," a laughter of pure evil filled the room," Well, well, well." A cloud swarmed around the room then around War.

"Let go of her!" I said running to her, but a force push me back. I flew across the room as she was covered in darkness.

"Nuh, uh, uh," said the voice which sounded more familiar.....

"Finally," she said with a tease seeing my face.

"So, we meet again Thana," I said seeing her appearance next to War. I growled as I was in a state where anger wasn't the first word to describe my fury.

"Well, what do have here, the book worm," she said. 

"Give me War!" I screamed.

"Woah! Calm it down. Besides she dead inside anyways," she said smirking as she tilt War's head by pulling her hair. I enrage my anger far beyond my doing as I pulled my attacks out.

"I call upon all words said to world!" I enchant," Lend me your strength!"

*Flashback (Third Person)*

"Gaaaahh!" screamed Edge as she flew across the room. She sat up rubbing her head. "Ow," she said irritated.

"What happen!?" screamed Edge's mother. They stopped and stared at the holes in the wall with a mess everywhere.

"Ah, sorry mom," Edge said shamefully.

"What are you doing?" Edge's mother said as Edge rested her head on her mother hand.

"I am trying to find my power and start helping the world," said Edge.

"It will take time," her mother said calmly.

"I know, you told me already. I've read every single chant every Knowledge god said, none of them worked," she said in tears.

"That's why," said her mother brightly.

"What?" Edge asked looking at up at her.

"How do you think they made those chants? Not by seeing people before do that. Wasn't each chant different?" her mother said.

"Yeah," said Edge as she thought why different chants.

"That means everyone of them made their own chant. You can't copy anyone else. Every soul and spirit is different. You have to come with your own powers," her mothers said smiling at the bright face pf her daughter

"Thanks, mom," said Edge hugging her mother in tears.  

As time went on, Edge found her powers. where she summons a paper and quilt, and not just any paper and quilt, that grants her wish written by her and only her. She can use attacks of others, but in order to summon that object she has to touch once to summon it again. If she wants to use the powers of others , she has to learn their weapons and skills to become or have that weapon of the person.

*Flashback End (Still Edge POV)*

I wrote my powers in. I was granted power, strength, speed, and the my sword given by my uncle. Crafted by the only metal made in the world.

"DON'T TOUCH HER!!" I said screaming. I attack her, but defended. She did something to War as she fell to the floor screaming clutching her chest.

"You'll only have 20 minutes," Thana sung, " Don't bore me." I was outraged and knew that to save War I have to beat her.

The fight went on has I wasn't able to get much attacks in. The pain returned as I held back from an attack. My veins shown all over my body as I was coughing out blood.

"Hahaha! Looks like this might be my day," Thana filled with laughs watch me as I fell. But, I will not die and I will certainly save War.

I stood up and battle again, but this time a surprise attack. I switch me powers to more speed less strength. I was able to get attacks in, but not enough to kill. She got me back as more cuts open in my skin. It was almost times up as I had on last attack. The God's Spear.

I used all the power I had on this last attack I just had to get at the right time. With footprints spreading across, I had an opening.

"I see you," she sung, but didn't expect this first power I every shown. I hit her right between her chest. She fell to the floor, coughing blood. "You little-," she said, but cut off by a cough of blood.

Third Person

War stopped her screaming. The pain was no more as she took the time to find her breaths.

"What happen?" War asked looking around the room and last lay her eyes on Edge," Edge...." She was in tears and ran straight to her. She cupped her face as Edge's eyes were closed. She held Edge in her hands and did everything to wake her up. Just glances back as Death, Thana, ran away. War felt a hand clutch her arm as she face back to Edge.

"Wa...r," Edge said barely.

"Edge! Stay up! Please!" War screamed holding her close.

"Give... m..e .. you..r ..h...and," Edge said stumbling her words. War had no hesitation and held on her hand tight as a glowed. Coming from it, strand of gold string surrounded them. They graciously flowed through room and then group together. The twisted together like strings and went straight back into War's heart. She given her powers back as the Goddess of War. She was amazed and slightly forgot about Edge.

"Edge?" War asked returning her yourself; worried for Edge. Egde slowly opened her eyes and looked up at War as her tears fell on top of her.

"War," Edge said bursting into tears. The two were lost for words, for it has been a very long time.

When they were ready, they walked out of the tunnel seeing cars with the sign "Police" on it.

Edge POV

I am so happy. I didn't worried about anything else. I see War again with such eyes that I remembered before the day we departed.

"Mia," I called as she turned her head.

"What happen?!" Mia said concerned.

"Uhh.... I can't say , but at least we are safe," I said since War is helping me to walk. She smile as she continued that it is morning.....I was surprised you can say....Around 8 a young man came to walk his dog and saw them. He help by calling the cops and then called someone else that she is not familiar. I thank her for watching the girls while I had an event.

"What will happen to the boys?" I asked Mia since they were being taken away to the "Police" Car.

"They will be taken to jail for stealing us," Mia said proudly.

"What?!" screech War. We both stared at her confused. " They didn't do anything. I was the first one to be captured and they were being manipulated. They were told that if they weren't going to help than they can watch their parents die in front of them! They are only teenager boys." We turn to the teenagers. I saw their faces confuse and scared of what happen. I let go of War and went to the cops.

"Let them go," I said to on of the police man.

"What?" asked one as other 5 stared.

"They didn't do anything. They were forced to do it or they would watch their parents being murdered," I stated. They stared in disgust. They turned to each other and agree with me.

"We will let them go, but they need to still go to trial. We have their parents phone number since your information matches with the parents, they'll go home," he said.

"Thank you for your kindness," I said I as I bowed to them. They told me it wasn't necessary for me to do that. I did it anyway and ask if they can get these girls home. War came running to me.

"What happened?" she asked.

"They release them, but need trail," I said. Both War and I weren't certain what that meant, but we thought it is where people are to prove innocent. She agreed with me and smiled.

For the next three hours, me and War watch everyone go home as happy faces on parents were brighter than ever. The last person was War friend. She and her parents were thankfull for watching her. Out of all the girls, she was the youngest by 7 years old. Once all the girls went home with there parents, we sat for a bit happy of us just being there together.

"Edge!" a voice called from the distance. We turn to see Peyton. I was overjoyed that she came to look for me. I stumbled over to her and gave her a hug. War ran behind me and was notice by Peyton.

"Who are you?" she kindly asked War.

"Um...I," War stuttered knowing that her identity need to be hidden. I told it was find and that Peyton saved me," Oh I am the goddess of War," she smiled, proud to call herself that again. Peyton was surprised, but happy for me. I have such a great friends and family. I wonder if all our parents are proud of us. I felt so happy. 

We went back to Peyton's home. I asked her how she found us and told me that the neighbor that called the police was Dylan. It turns out that he is the farthest away from the school. Peyton texted him "thank you" and I will make sure to thank him in person. I looked at War and saw her face. I has laughing at how she looked like me coming into this world. We then made it home and I help War fit in. I gave her cloths that she like the most and we had so much things to discuss.

"WELL, this was two tiring days," sighed Peyton.

"Sorry for leaving Peyton. I had power that I couldn't hold in for much longer, so I tried to-," I said, but was stop by Peyton.

"No, No, it's alright. I was just worried where you went. I never had a friend leave on me like that," she said.

"Really? I...," I said. Again loss for words. I never thought people like Peyton will do everything they can for a stranger. I know her heart doesn't do for a god, but for a friend. "This is a great day," I said as we all shared laughs.

We talked for the rest of the day and did our homework. I help show War most of the things Peyton taught me. I wanted to do so much things for all the years, but I had school tomorrow. Peyton then asked me if War wanted to come to school with us. War said yes, but both me and Peyton knew about money. Peyton had no problem with it. She showed us her bank account and saw that she had money. She then started talking when she was free from her parents, she moved into a family and work hard for all the money to this day. I was amazed.

She put War in college with us to learn. After submitting the form, Peyton felt tired, so went to sleep while War and I continued to talk.

"I missed you so much," War said.

"We can't stop can we?" I thought and said.

"Nope!" said War. I started to cry. I never thought War's joy will return in my memories. "Hey! What did I do? Are you still hurt?"

"No it is just that.... I never thought I'll see you again," I said smiling.

"Well now that you did, you have fulfilled your promise. I know you and you know me, we'll never give up on each other, my nerdy dork," she laughed as she gave me a hug. I was now bursting into tears. I am so happy. I'll keep saying that today and probably after today. 

At 12, War slept on my bed to heal. I sat next to her maintaining the world full with happiness. That word may never leave me.
