Tony's POV

I walked the fastest as possible through the corridors at SHIELD Headquarters in New York.

-We need to talk- I said when I arrived at Fury's office.

-I was waiting for you. Please close the door and sit- he said and I did like I said.

-Why did you do that?!- I yelled.

-It is not my fault, we didn't know that Romanoff isn't an american citizen. And since she is not, we have to send her to Russia- Fury said.

-Send her? You talk about her like if she was a thing!- I yelled punching the desk -I'm sorry, I...-.

-You care about her, I can see that- Fury said.

-If she comes back to Russia they will kill her! She talked, they can't leave her alive!- I said and I sighed -Is there a way to let her stay here? Can't you end her time in prison sooner?-.

-I did that indeed, but she killed people in her Country too so she is still a criminal there-.

So Nat was free... But not really free...
-But- Furt continued -There is a way to let her stay here-.

-That is?- I asked.

-She has to marry and american citizen. If she does so she has to be left here, in US and she is free here- Fury said -We only have to find someone who want to marry her-.

Nat's POV

Tony texted me saying that he needed to talk with me about something important; I don't know why but I could feel that something bad was going to happen.

And I was right, I was going back to Russia... I couldn't do that, they would have killed me.

-So I won't really be free...- I said sighing -They will kill me if I go there!-.

-I know- Tony said -But Fury and I have a plan, there is something we can do to let you stay here-.

-That is?- I asked.

-Marry me- he said.

What? Did he just...?

-What?- I said confused.

-If you marry an American citizen you can stay here and for US law you are free now so...- he explained.

-But... You have a family and...- I said.

-I'll talk with Pepper later- he said and took my hands -I want to marry you, to spend my life with you-.

I started crying and huggee him.

-I love you- I said.

-I love you too- he said.

A couple of days later we were married: Steve, Tony's friend, married us and since we didn't have time to organize things Fury was our wedding witness and I didn't really had a wedding dress, I just wore the most beautiful one that I had.

-Congratulations Romanoff, you are an American citizen now- Fury said.

-Thank you, I... I wouldn't expected all of this from you- I said.

-I may be unpleasant but I am not a killer- he said.

I smiled and Tony arrived.

-Well she is free now, am I right?- he asked Fury.

-Yes she is- he answered.

-Perfect- Tony said and then looked at me -I have already packed your things, we are leaving-.

-What? Where are we going?- I asked, confused.

-You will see- he said smiling and I smiled too.

Everything was good. Too much good.
