Seven: Oakley
The rest of the week goes by smoothly and I am really impressed with myself for being very professional during training hours. I let the guys sleep in and rest today. Despite what they may think, I actually care about their wellbeing and know that they do need a rest from working out. I'll have to break the news to them that at the end of the month some of them will be going home. Only one from my group but twelve altogether.
I pull the cover back up to my chin after turning my TV on. What? I'm resting too. Being a trainer is hard!
Knock. Knock. Knock. "Who is it?" I question and gaze at my door. Gray pops his head in and I pull my covers back so he can lay beside me. He comes in with his favorite blanket wrapped around him. He lays down beside me and fixes his blanket before I cover him with my blankets as well. He cuddles up next to me and falls asleep shortly after. I smile and find myself drifting off to sleep too.
I wake to Corbin laying at the feet of my bed watching TV and Gray still sleeping. I move my leg and nudge Corbin to get his attention. He rolls over so he is facing me.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." He says cheerfully while smiling. I roll my eyes and push him slightly with my foot. "I made you breakfast."
"And me?" Gray asks and sits up suddenly.
"Yes, and you." Corbin chuckles.
"FOOD!" Gray shouts and runs out of my room and down to the kitchen.
I shake my head, but can't help but laugh.
"Come on," Corbin says standing up from my bed.
My stomach makes sounds that slightly terrify me so I throw the covers off of me and stand up. "Happy?"
"Very," he grins. "Today my goal is to hold your hand." His eyes sparkle with mischief and I have to push down the somersaults my stomach is doing.
"So, what food did you make me and my brother?" I question and start to go downstairs.
"Pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, and muffins."
"Seriously?" I glance at him while walking down the stairs.
He nods. "I didn't know what you liked so I made a variety."
I walk in and see Gray eating a huge stack of pancakes and some bacon. I chuckle and rub his head. "Slow down, Gray. Remember to chew." He nods his head and takes a drink of milk. "Gray loves pancakes as you can tell." I tell Corbin and grab a muffin.
"And you like muffins." He replies while grabbing a muffin for himself.
I nod. "What do you like to eat?"
He shrugs. "Anything, I'm not picky." He pauses. "So what do you two want to do today?"
"You'll play with me?" Gray asks.
"Yeah, of course." Corbin answers.
Gray jumps out of his chair and runs to Corbin. Gray wraps his arms around his waist in a quick hug and then starts pulling him by the hand. "We are wasting time! Playing time starts now!"
...MONDAY...
"Alright, boys. I'm going to switch things up a bit. We are going to do yoga to start out today. I hope each of you enjoyed your break yesterday." I explain and all the guys share a certain look with each other.
"Yoga?" One of them speaks up.
"Yes. Is there a problem?" I question daring him to go against my command.
His eyes widen. "Um well it's just not very manly."
I roll my eyes. "Boys," I mutter and shake my head. "I don't care! Let's begin."When we finish doing yoga, I decide to break the news to them. I take a drink of water and glance at each of the guys. "Okay. I hope you guys are relaxed from the yoga because I've got some bad news for you guys. Please don't overreact. Just listen. Okay?"
"What is it?" One of the guys speak up.
"At the end of the month, one of you will be going home." Dead silence. "12 in total from all the groups."
"How are we chosen to go home?" One of them asks.
"I don't want to say the weakest one, but," I trail off and sigh. "This whole thing is like a hug competition. The same thing will happen at the end of the second month. The last month you guys are here, all the groups will be combined. At the end of the month, one will be claimed the best of the best."
"Do you decide?" One of the guys ask.
I smirk. "I love that you think I'm the one in charge, but no I don't make the final decision. However, I will fight and plead for each and every one of you." I stand up from the ground and rub my hands together. "So, one of you better win because you guys are on my team and I hate losing. Who's ready to sweat?"
