Chapter 3

"So you aren't human?" Sebastian asked.

"No but I know for a fact I'm not an elf." I chuckled.

"Then what?" She said sarcastically.

"You wouldn't be able to comprehend it even if I intended on telling you." I snickered, lowering my glasses looking into her eyes. Her expression so wrapped with confusion and surprise.

"You couldn't possibly..." She stuttered trailing off when I put my finger to her lips.

"I'm not supposed to tell anyone I think you can figure out why." I slid my glasses on.

"My folks are human I can't chance putting them in harm's way. I'm sure you can understand." I replied.

"That doesn't make sense if you're a you know why are your parents humans?" She stuttered dumbfounded. When a large male elf walked behind me it was the prince of elves Nathaniel. Two other male elves grabbed my arm  so I couldn't struggle. Nathaniel unzipped the back of my dress as my huge wings bursted free. They gasped in dumbfounded.

"Just as I thought a fairy Daffodil you shouldn't be so disrespectful." He said, I stood there feeling so vilated because of how he grabbed my wings. As I stood there dumbfounded my glasses slid off my face and my long hair fell freely down my shoulders. Razor caught my glasses putting them in my locker and pushed my hair so he could look into my eyes. He waved his hand in front of my face.

"You okay Irridessa?" He asked I nodded slightly. He tucked my wings back in my dress pining it shut since my wings busted it when they came out. He pulled my hair back so my hair was covering it so no one would see it.

"This was my favorite dress." I muttered.

"Sorry about that I'll get you a new one." Nathaniel replied.

"No because I hand this by hand made it with my mother it was special." I replied irritively looking at him. He cressed my cheek. I turned away feeling my cheeks fluster irritatingly.

"You can't stay mad at me." He whispered in my ear.

"Hmm." I pouted crossing my arms.

"Come on quite being stubborn." He teased trying to tickle me to make me laugh.

"See much better your much prettier when you smile." He teased.

"Cheater." I replied trying to act like I was still mad.

"Maybe but you still smiled." He joked. Razor took my books and  we walked to
Our first class turns out me Nathaniel had most of the same classes together.

"Oh joy so im stuck with you for most of the day." I teased. He chuckled amusingly.

"You know you enjoy my company." He joked back. As we walked into the class room taking our seats.

"Your enjoying this aren't you?" I asked sarcastically he lsughed sitting beside me. Razor tucked my wings back into the back of my dress binding them to my body so they wouldnt break free again and somehow fixed the zipper. Ziping the back of my dress back up making sure my wings stayed completely hidden.

"Thanks deary that should keep them hidden till I get home." I said, as my aunt of all people walked in.

"Hello due to Mrs.Fisher's family emergency I'll be taking over for the rest of the school year. So bare will me while I get used to her classes and the attendance." She announced smiling that is till she seen me. Other then my eyes, hair color, and wings. I looked identical to my mother. I could tell by the look on her face she knew who I was. She shook it off and started going through attendance. I didnt take my eyes off of her making her very uncomfortable. As she read attendance calling out names.

"Irridessa Rayne." She called out suddenly looking up at me confirming her suspicion.

"Here." I smirked, and her eyes suddenly filled with guilt. When she realized from my reaction I already knew who she was. She slightly sank into her chair trying to act like she didn't notice. After taking attendance she started class. Which I answered every one correctly without even looking for the answers in my book. She refused to even look up as I answered all her questions. So when class was done I  was the last student in the room.

"So your Nicklies daughter?" She asked hesitantly.

"And Hazel's." I replied.

"You do know I'm Hazel's sister?" She asked. I nodded.

"And the nasty rumors you spread about them. You call her yourself you're her sister but yet all you do is lie. Your lucky I haven't sicked my nightmare on you for such bullshit. So don't expect me to think of you as family. Now if you'll excuse me." I said, angerly showing my real identity as I grabbed my books and walked out. But not before placing a curse on her. Which she greatly deserved. Razor took my books and walked with me to my next class.
