"Leory Gunnger?!" the boys exclaimed as they saw him sling the limp form of Sylvie over his shoulder and carry her off.

    "That filthy pirate, I'll make him pay," Ajax grumbled through gritted teeth.

    "I'd say we should give up now, he's probably light years away by now and you'll die if you go to the source of the bounty hunters," Jinx suggested.

    Ajax stared at the paused figure of Sylvie, hanging unconscious over a dangerous man's shoulder. "We can't just let her go like that, you know what those pirates do. And who knows, your sister might also be there, so we can bust them out."

    Jinx took this into consideration and nodded in agreement, "Alright, I'll do this for my sister."

    "I knew you'd agree."

    "I would, but I'm surprised you agree."

    I've never felt this way before, do I actually feel responsible for her? Why do I all of a sudden feel protective over her? Sure, I promised Haloami I'd protect her. What has come over me?! Ajax wondered as he went to receive his reward.

    As Jinx and Ajax walked to the landing bay, where Jinx's ship was parked on dock 27, they were confronted by Ty and his gang. They stood in between Jinx's ship and the boys.

    "What do you want Ty?" Ajax asked out of annoyance.

    "I want you dead," Ty pulled a gun but Jinx had already drawn his and pointed it at him.

    Tension stayed strong between Jinx, who had his gun pointed at Ty, who pointed his at Ajax.

    "You don't want to do that Ty," Jinx warned.

    "I'd rather us both die than him live!" Ty bellowed.

    "Are you sure about that?" Ajax saw him trembling, a sign of insecurity.

    "I'm damn sure!"

    "Alright then. Shoot me. I dare you," Ajax crossed his arms.

    Jinx looked at Ajax, bewildered.

    Ajax scratched his chin, a secret sign between the two that he knew what he was doing.

    They stood that way for a while before the cowardly Ty dropped the gun and ran away with his bodyguards.

    "Well, that was a pleasant surprise," Ajax sighed, sarcasm flowing through his voice. "Ready to go Jinx?"

    Jinx stuck his gun back in its holster and asked, "Are you sure about flying to Zounkla?"

    "I grew up on a scum-filled moon, I'm sure I can handle a base of pirates."

    And with that, they left the city planet and jumped to hyperspace, on their way to the jungle planet Zounkla.
