Me and Lockwood eventually settled down in 35 Portland Row. We had two kids, Lilly and Jessica. Lockwood wanted to name the oldest Jessica in honour of of his sister. Jess is just like her apparently. And she's a great with Sight just like her father. Lilly takes me, a Listener. Both are like their father in looks and charisma. But our story doesn't stop here....

THREE YEARS LATER

Lucy's POV

I was sitting in one of the big plush burgundy chairs in the library reading one of the battered old paper back thrillers off the shelves. I heard a door creak. Glancing up from my book I saw Lilly slip into the library. Smiling softly I put my book down.

"Hello Lils! What can I do for you?" Lilly giggled quietly and put her finger to her lips.

"Shhh mommy! Me and Jess-"

"Jess and I dear." Lilly huffed but corrected herself.

"Jess and I are hiding from daddy and we decided to split up so Jessie is hiding in you and daddy's room and I'm hiding in here! Please don't tell him!" I grinned and nodded.

She squealed quietly and slipped behind one of the bookcases. I laughed and went back to my book. Lockwood came in a few minutes later.

"Hello Luce!" I looked up and smiled.

"Hi Lockwood! What do you need?" Lockwood smiles.

"Have you seen either of the terrible two?" I fought back my grin and shook my head. Lilly giggled quietly.

"What was that?" Lockwood asked approaching the bookcase. He looked behind it and Lilly squealed as Lockwood dragged her from out behind the shelf.

"HELP ME MOMMY!" She laughed as Lockwood started to tickle her. I lunged from my seat and grabbed his arms dragging them, with great difficulty, behind him.

"RUN LILLY RUN!" I yelled in a playful voice. She took off sprinting out of the room. Lockwood turned on me. He grinned wolfishly.

"Oh Lucy..." He sang stepping toward me. Then he lunged and tackled me. We both hit the ground. He put me on his lap and held me there.

"I love you..." He muttered in my ear. I grinned.

"Love you too Lockwood. Do want help?" He laughed and nodded. We both stood up and rucked off into the house to find our two little girls.
