A thousand Foxies leaped forwards, hissing, their eyes flashing with hatred. Black Moon shot out his grappling hooks, and it clung on to the FoxEater's neck. He pulled himself to the FoxEater and slashed deep into the neck of it." Die!" he spat. But, the FoxEater kept on lumbering ahead, huffing like it was not even attacked at all. Black Moon felt a twinge of annoyance in his belly and lashed deeper into the wound he made. Suddenly, he saw it. He saw Setting Sun's dark orange pelt. "Quick!" Star Shine shrieked. Black Moon raised his paw-swords and-BOOM!

A huge explosion knocked him off course, and he tumbled toward the ground. Black spots appeared at the edge of his vision, and he could feel himself weakening. "Help!" He cried. He felt himself being caught and saw Leaf Tail holding him.

"Thank you!" he gasped, and Leaf Tail nodded.

CRUNCH! The FoxEater had slammed its huge paw on one tired Foxie, and he heard the painful shriek.

"Snow Fall!" Thunder Roar gasped. His eyes turned to big pools of dread. "I'll save you!" saying that, he lunged.

"I'll help you!!!" Black Moon leapt after him. He remembered his training and slashed deep into the flesh of the paw crushing Snow Fall. Triumph flashed across his fur as he felt his sword connect with bone. The huge FoxEater whined.

Thunder Roar grabbed out his super big swords and began cutting at the exposed bone. The Foxeater screeched and tried to shake him off. But Thunder Roar had his grappling hooks stuck on. Black Moon helped him from the other side, and finally, the bone snapped. The FoxEater shrieked and collapsed. Thunder Roar dragged Snow Fall from under the limp paw.

"Oww!" Snow Fall squealed. "I think my ribs are crushed!"

"We need to get you to a doctor!"Thunder Roar nosed her softly.

"Ugh......" Snow Fall gasped and clutched at her chest.

Black Moon called to Thunder Roar, "You take care of Snow Fall, I'll go continue-OOF!" the big FoxEater had slammed its other paw on his cape. Panic sparked through him like wildfire, and he slashed wildly at the paw. Grass Foot suddenly flew beside him, along with Falling Petal from the Stealth Lookouters, and Leaf Tail. Together they managed to cut off the Foxeater's paw.

Black Moon struggled free and flew towards the FoxEater's face. "HOW DARE YOU- AHH!" The FoxEater grabbed him, ready to shove him into its big, smelly mouth.
