Dawn of the war
'What do you mean by creating my own path?' Asked Akileshwar.
'Dharma has not created a path for you. Because you are doing the exact opposite of what is expected. You have moved from the first path created for you. Which was to lead a normal life. But instead of joining one of the tributaries, you have forged a new path' Explained Brahma.
Akileshwar understood but dint at the same time. It was all too confusing to digest.
'Come. We will escort you to Swarga. The gods must hear you' Said Vishnu as they stood up and grouped Akileshwar and his party.
'This might feel weird' Warned Brahma when suddenly the world seemed to dissolve around them. Slowly the galaxy like background faded, revealing a new place.
It was beautiful. Everything was detailed to perfection. The houses, the palaces etc. It was stunning. So stunning that Akileshwar had to rub his eyes twice to not believe he was dreaming.
It had full high-technology. People were flying around in.. what were those? They looked like smooth carts built with white metals. And they were floating. All around, people were testing weapons that were very advanced and battle armor that was heavy.
Akileshwar followed the holy triad as they walked the steps present to their right. They reached another palace that made the Aakashprasadh look like a hut.
Akileshwar dint pay much attention to the hall. He only noticed that the palace dint have any chambers. Just one hall with a raised platform at the end.
He saw many paintings and sculptures sculpted onto the wall. They were all depicting war scenes. From the great war, guessed Akileshwar.
Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma walked to the raised platform as Shiva clapped his hands.
Immediately people no- gods filled the room. Each of them radiating power. The devas were present. All the gods. The power that the room contained was so much that Akileshwar thought the hall was going to explode.
Immediately the gods broke into chatter. But when their eyes landed on Akileshwar, they quieted.
Akileshwar felt nervous with the spotlight turned on him. He opened his mouth to say something when it began.
A huge rumble passed through the rumble passed through not only the hall, but also the three worlds. But they would learn that later.
Akileshwar glanced around in shock. The ground was violently shaking, making it very hard to stay on the ground. He moved to a slight crouching position to try and stay on his feet. But his grip would run out soon.
Was it an earthquake? Wondered Akileshwar as he glanced to the side to see the holy trinity standing normally, but glancing around in worry. The god crowd had started to panic. Some had even rose to the air in fear.
'What is happening?!' Shouted Akileshwar over the various shouts.
'Tattvam! It is falling' Shouted Shiva.
'How does that have anything to do with here?!' Asked Akileshwar, momentarily not registering what Shiva had said.
'Tattvam holds the three worlds! If it is destroyed, all the three worlds are too!' Replied Brahma.
Realization dawned on Akileshwar. This was Kali's entire plan. To destroy the three worlds in one go.
'We have to go!' Shouted Vishnu. 'Tattvam will be the only safe place! We also have to see who is causing this!'
Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma rose to the air and each went to a corner. Slowly, blue energy consumed the whole room and everyone disappeared.
They reappeared in another area that was pitch black. Deadly silence filled Tattvam as Akileshwar glanced at the empty thrones present in front of them.
'Ah, took you long enough' Said a voice that spread throughout Tattvam.
Akileshwar grit his teeth. 'Kali'
A laugh echoed through the abstract world as the gods took out their weapons, feeling a fight was inevitable. But with who?
'To answer your question.. ' Kali dint need to finish. Because suddenly, in front of them Danavs and Rakshasas along with other demons appeared.
'Enjoy the show' Laughed Kali as her voice faded and everyone charged.
Then, chaos ensued.
Akileshwar drew his own sword then remembered the sword of Shakti. Perhaps it would do more damage than a normal sword?
He threw his sword aside and pulled out the sword of Shakti. Once outside, it started glowing a yellow-ish glow. But it was faint and was fading. Akileshwar saw that at the end of the Rakshasas' side, there stood the Mandalayu, floating in the air. It was consumed in yellow energy that it was taking from two figures chained in front of it. Like Kali had done with the Asura. With a gasp, Akileshwar realized that the figures were Shakti and Paramatma, both looking weakened.
The battle raged around Akileshwar as he stood in shock for a good ten seconds. Then, regaining his senses, he charged and started slashing at various demons. The sword of Shakti seemed to cut through each of their bodies like they were paper. The other gods were easily winning by hurling their astras at the enemy lines, destroying them immediately.
But then Akileshwar realized that it dint matter how many demons they killed. He glanced at the Mandalayu in shock. It was one by one creating more demons to fight using Paramatma and Shakti's energy. As long as the Mandalayu was still there, they could not defeat the opponent.
Akileshwar realized that the Asuras were not fighting. They were probably still waiting at the foot of the steps that led to Dhyavaprithvi.
Suddenly, flashes erupted in the enemy lines revealing the Asuras, armed. They joined the battle as they also slashed at the enemy lines. But soon they too realized that they were basically fighting nothing.
'Retreat!' Shouted the leader. He knew that there was no use in fighting something again and again.
The gods dint understand why they were retreating. They assumed they were cowards, so they continued fighting.
'There's no point in fighting!' Shouted Akileshwar over the clashes of battle. 'The Mandalayu is just creating more creatures to fight!'
Soon, the fight stopped as the gods stopped hurling their astras. But they kept them ready in case of a sudden movement.
But the demons dint have it. They charged, forcing them to restart the battle.
Akileshwar decided that if they were to save themselves and the three worlds, he would have to end this now.
He looked at the Mandalayu at the back as he slashed at a Rakshasa. Slowly, but trying to go unnoticed, he made his way to it, killing demons only when necessary.
Some demons noticed him and began to block his way. But with the sword of Shakti, he was unstoppable. He quickly killed them and finally ended up in the back. He looked at Paramatma and Shakti, who seemed unconscious.
'Hello, Akil' Said a voice Akileshwar recognized. He whirled around, trying to see where Kali was.
'Show yourself, Kali' He said, circling around carefully.
He felt a force behind him and whirled around to jab at Kali, but turned up jabbing at air. He felt a force to his left and did the same thing, but again hit air.
'How?' It went on and on like that. Until Akileshwar began to notice a pattern. Wherever she was, her place would go 90 degrees clockwise then go 180 degrees anticlockwise.
He felt a presence to his right and jabbed at the front, hitting something. Then he felt a presence behind him and again jabbed at the front.
'Nice' Kali said as she became visible. But the marks Akileshwar had made were not visible.
'How are you doing this?' Asked Akileshwar as he brought his sword to the front.
Kali drew her own sword. 'You think I can't attain some power after all this?'
They charged at each other, ready for the fight of their lives.
