(1's POV) 'Humans alive. No they can't be humans. They could be machines disguised as humans.' my thoughts were interrupted by a female voice. I looked up and saw Dani. "1 are you okay?" She asked. "Yes. I am." I said sternly. "1 don't lie. I can tell something's bothering you." She said sitting next to me. I sighed. "I just never thought I'd see another human. Alive." "Huh I never thought I'd live another day, ever since what happened to my parents and brother." I became curious. "What happened to them?" I asked. She sighed sadly. "My dad was crushed by a part of a building falling, and my mom and brother were shot." I couldn't help but feel pity for her. I then shook my head. What am I thinking? She could be lying. I then realized something wet had touched me. I looked up saw water coming out of Dani's eyes. I know they may be machines but I felt a connection with this one. I placed my  hand on hers and looked up.

(Dani's POV) I stopped crying when I felt something touch my hand I looked down and saw 1 smiling at me. I smiled back. I then heard Sage call us. "Dani! We've decided who our leader is going to be!" 1 climbed onto my hand, and I walked to my friends. "Dani we've decided that..... you will be our leader." My eyes widened. So did 1's. "You're older than all of us and you're our friend we decided our leader should be you. I nodded and walked up to the twins. They had 3, 5, and 6 with'em.
