Zeb's pov:

I woke up the next morning and felt something warm next to me. I looked down and noticed Ezra wrapped in my arms still asleep. I silently took my arms away careful not to wake him and got out of bed. I went and got changed and went to the cockpit. When I got there kanan was eating breakfast. "Good morning Zeb" he said said once he noticed I walked in "good morning kanan" I said then there was silence as I got my food. Finally kanan broke the silence by asking "where is Ezra" "he is still asleep the poor kit was tired out from yesterday" I said. "Apparently so we're you" he said "huh" was my brilliant answer "ok so when you and Ezra didn't come back to the cockpit everyone got worried so we went to check on you and when we did we found Ezra and you snuggled up together asleep and I think Hera took a picture, I don't know for sure though" he said "wow" was all I said "yeah" he replied back with. It was silent as me and kanan finished breakfast until we heard the tap of small feet running towards the cockpit. Just then Ezra ran into the cockpit and looked at me then he ran up to me and said "Captain I had a nightmare" he had tears running down his face. I couldn't help but awww at the little kit. I pulled on my lap and hugged him as he cried into my shoulder. He soon calmed down enough to talk so I asked him "can you tell me about your nightmare" he didn't say anything he just nodded. Then he spoke "I..it was a..about the destruction of Lasan and this time y..you.. you d...died and and no one came and rescued me from the e..empire". Me and Kanan looked at the kit in shock. No one expected it to be about that. It is horrible that the kit had witnessed that even if it was a dream.

Ezra's pov:

They gave me a look of shock when I told them what happened then they looked at each other and kanan Had gotten up and left the room for a minute and came back and Captain hugged me tightly. I hugged back just as tight and then he whispered to me the best thing I have heard since I found the Captain. "I promise no harm will ever come to you anymore as long as I am still breathing and now that I found you I'm never letting go" he whispered in my ear and I opened my eyes and saw the rest of the crew tearing up at the sight. Apparently they heard what he said but I didn't care at that moment. All I cared about was the Captain that was hugging me like I would disappear forever and I was hugging him back just as tight.

Sabine's pov:

Kanan's voice came over the com and he said "everyone come to the cockpit". I didn't question it but I wonder what's wrong. I saw Hera get up from her chair and she looked at me I just shrugged at her and continued my journey to the cockpit. When we got there what we saw had us tearing up. Zeb and Ezra were talking then Zeb was hugging ezra like he would disappear and Ezra was hugging back just as tightly. By then we were on the verge of tears. The Zeb said something that made everyone cry. He said "I promise no harm will come to you anymore as long as I am still breathing and now that I found you I'm never letting go". What shocked me was sincerity in his voice when he made that promise. They stopped hugging and looked at each other smiling. Zeb wiped away Ezra's tears and told him to sit down and that he would get him something to eat. Ezra sat down but he still had the biggest smile I had ever seen since he got here on his face.

Zeb's pov:

I started making something for Ezra to eat when I noticed the crew was standing there with tear running down there faces. I stopped what I was doing and ran up to them and asked "what's wrong, did something happen?" They all shook their heads no and Ezra ran up to them and asked them "what's wrong". Sabine said "nothing is wrong" then Ezra shocked them all by giving each one a hug. When he got to Sabine he said "promise nothing is wrong" "I promise" Sabine said "ok then let's go eat breakfast" he shouted enthusiastically and everyone chuckled I looked over a kanan and he looked at me I then have him the look that said "explain now" he gave me a look right back that said "when we are alone" I finished making Ezra's breakfast and he happily sat down and ate it. He then said "can we all go do something together Captain" I looked at everyone and they all gave a small nod as to yes. I looked down at Ezra and said "yes Ezra we can when everyone is done breakfast and you are changed into clothes" "yay!!!!!!!!!" He shouted and we all laughed as he ran to our room to get changed. Everyone was almost done but Ezra hasn't come back yet he was probably picking something to wear today. "So where are we going to take Ezra" I asked "we could take him to Hoth to play in the snow" "ok but first I need to go to the market so I'll be back in an hour and everyone be ready to go to Hoth and I'm taking Ezra with me" "ok but if your not back in an hour I will leave you here" Hera said "oh believe me I know you will" I said and ran to get Ezra. I walked into the room and Ezra was trying to get his shirt on so I walked over and pulled it over his head and he said "thank you so where are we going" "well Ezra we are going somewhere special but first me and you are going to the market for a bit to get some stuff" I said. "Ok let's go!!!!he screamed and I laughed and followed him to the ramp. When we got to the ramp he held my hand and I smiled as we made our way to the market.
