The different circles and bumps all mean something different. These are all different letters that must be put in a specific order. Be careful with the vowels, they are written differently. 

To write a word, you start at the bottom of your circle, and put your first letter, then write the next ones moving counter clockwise. The lines coming off the bumps and circles can go in any direction. They can connect or cross each other. You can draw these lines any which way you want.
