Christmas Baby

(This is probably the longest chapter I've ever written! So, I hope you like it and like and comment! Enjoy!) Disneylove8 😄😁

It was Christmas time and to get away from the bitter cold Conner and Bree decided to head to California to spend Christmas with their family, but to also have their baby. They wanted to have their baby in California because not everyone was able to get to New York City. Bree was due two weeks before Christmas so Conner was rushing to all the stores to get everything they still needed and he even brought his sister Alex along.

"Ok, what do you think a baby needs the first day of being in the world?" Conner said as he pushed the cart around the baby store and rubbed his eyes.

"Well you guys definitely need a baby swaddle, some binkies, and bottles," Alex said and put them in the cart. "Why haven't you guys gotten any of these things yet?"

"Alex it's been a rough 9 months."

"What's wrong?"

"The baby is insanely healthy but Bree is not herself. It breaks me seeing her in pain every day. She's not doing well with this pregnancy. I'm scared that we may not have another."

"It's that bad?" Alex said.

"Yeah, it was tough to get here. We almost couldn't come, because she was in so much pain." Conner said and looked at a list on his phone. "Ok, we got bottles, binkies, and a swaddle, now we need some diapers."

"So are you guys coming to the Christmas party at mom's house on Christmas Eve?" Alex asked. "Everyone's going to be there, they really want to see you and Bree."

"Mom and Bob's party was last week, she's having another?"

"It was last week, but this one is the annual Christmas party with the fairy council and all of our friends. You couldn't come to the one last week in the fairytale work, so we decided to have a little one here with you guys."

"Alex, that's really thoughtful, but I'm just not sure. Our doctor put Bree on strict bedrest. She's way overdue. She was originally due December 11th."

"I hope you guys can make it. I think Red really wants to give you some baby clothes and Goldie really wants to talk to Bree about pregnancy." Alex said.

"It will be nice to see them again. It's been so long." Conner said and put a packet of diapers in the cart. "But if we can't make it, Bree's family is having a Christmas party tonight and you can come with Mom and Bob."

"That sounds like a plan." Alex said. "So do you guys have a crib or a bassinet?"

"Bree's mom bought a bassinet for us that swaddles the baby as it sleeps. Apparently, it's the best baby technology on the market." Conner said and rubbed eyes. "Alex...I haven't slept in days! I'm so scared. This child is my responsibility for the rest of my life. What if I'm not a good father? What if something goes wrong? What if I never sleep again? What if something happens to Bree?"

"Conner, stop stressing out!!" Alex screamed in the middle of the store to her brother's face. "You are going to be the best dad in the entire world! I have no doubt. Plus, I can guarantee you'll never sleep again. You're a parent it comes with the job. Also, have you been watching births gone wrong again?"

"I need to be prepared if anything happens!" Conner said and rubbed his red puffy eyes. His phone then went off and he took it out of his pocket. It was Bree texting him.

"What's wrong?"

"Bree's asking for me to come home," Conner said. "I'm going to go pick up some food for her."

"Oh wait before we leave, what about clothes?" Alex asked and held up a red baby onesie that read I Was Mommy and Daddy's Christmas Present.

"That's cute, for all we know she'll come on Christmas Day," Conner said and smiled. "I may be really stressed every day and even more after she comes, but I can not wait to meet this kid."

"Me too," Alex said and hugged her brother. "Let's head back to the house and get some lunch."

After they checked out, they drove to a fast-food restaurant and got a couple of burgers and fries for lunch. They soon got back to Bree's parent's house, where they were staying, and unloaded their baby haul from the car and brought it into the house. Inside Bree's mom was making a vegetable and fruit juice for Bree.

"Hi Arianna, we're back. With bags of baby stuff and burgers." Conner said. "But I see you're making a juice and salad. So maybe burgers weren't the best idea."

"Yeah, it's a recipe that's been in my family for years. It should help the discomfort Bree's in." Arianna said. "The salads for me. Bree didn't want it, but I know she wouldn't say no to a burger. She's still upstairs. I'll be up in a second, I have some stuff I bought that I want to show you guys."

"Great, thank you so much, Arianna," Conner said.

"No problem," Arianna said and turned on the juicer again. Conner and Alex walked upstairs and opened the door to Bree's room. There they found Bree in an oversized red hoodie and sweatpants with her hair up in a messy bun laying down watching TV.

"Hey babe, how are you feeling?" Conner asked as he crawled in bed next to her.

"What do you think?" Bree said in a pissed tone of voice. "I'm way overdue, I can't walk, I can't breathe, and I'm insanely fat. So I'm obviously not doing very well."

"I'm sorry. I wish there was something I could do." Conner said and set the bag with the burgers on the nightstand and hugged his wife.

"Conner, I just want this to be over," Bree said as she sobbed into his shoulder. "I'm done. I'm done with the pain, I'm not enjoying any of this."

Conner hated seeing Bree cry. Especially when he knew that there was nothing he could do.

"Maybe I can help?" Alex said and walked closer to them.

"Like what?" Bree said as she wiped away tears.

"I was in a lot of pain with Annabelle. So I made this potion and it took away my pain for a short period of time."

"I'll take it." Bree said quickly. "Even if it is for a short time, I just need something."

"I'll head back home and get some, and bring it over tonight," Alex said and sat next to Bree on the edge of the bed.

"Thanks." Bree said and smiled.

"So anyways, I was wondering if you guys have chosen a name yet?"

"Umm, no." Conner and Bree said together.

"No?! She's coming in a few days or a few hours." Alex said. "Why haven't you chosen a name?"

"We have baby books at home, but none of the names in there we wanted. We want a name that's been in the family." Conner said. "Hey, do you know what grandmas real name was?"

"It was Brystal, I think. I'll ask Mother Goose, but I'm pretty sure." Alex said.

"I like that name," Bree said and tried to sit up, but failed. "I think I'm stuck in this position."

They all laughed and Conner and Alex helped her sit up.

"Thanks, guys," Bree said as she laughed and placed her hands under her huge pregnant stomach. "I see a bag from Burger Barn. I'm starving! Can I have my food?" Conner handed her the bag and she unwrapped the burger and took a huge bite.

"This has been my craving this entire pregnancy. In New York, all we have are health food stores and restaurants, so when we got here, I probably ate like 10 burgers a day." Bree said while eating.

"That is probably the one thing I miss about the other world, the food. So, do you think she'll be here by Christmas?" Alex asked.

"I don't know," Bree said and put down her burger and she started tearing up again. "I had hoped she'd be here by now though. My grandma really wanted to meet her. The baby was due the 11th, and she died on the 13th. It's really disappointing because she called me almost every day so excited to meet her."

"Bree, I'm so sorry," Alex said and hugged Bree.

"Thank you Alex. It wasn't sudden, we knew it was going to happen, but I just really wanted to have her before she died though. I'm also thinking of naming her after my grandma as well."

"What was her name?"

"Elizabeth." Bree said and rubbed her pregnant stomach.

"That's a nice name, especially since it's your grandmas," Alex said. "Um speaking of which, I did want to discuss something with you guys."

"What is it?" Conner asked.

"Are you going to tell her about the Fairytale world?" Alex asked.

"Um." Conner started. "Most likely not. I mean Dad didn't tell us, and he had a reason. He wanted us to have a normal life, and childhood. I want that for our kids. Alex, we didn't get a normal childhood, I won't let that happen to my daughter."

"I understand, but do you think Dad would have shown us the Fairytale world if he was still alive?"

"To be honest, I don't think so," Conner said. "He wanted us to have a normal life here, not there. I think he may have told us when we were adults, but not as kids."

"Do you guys ever wonder what your life would have been like if you hadn't discovered the Fairytale World?" Bree asked.

"I always do," Alex said. "I'm really glad I did though. If I didn't, I would have never met Arthur and have my daughters. We wouldn't have the great friends we have, and I wouldn't have the best job in the world."

"Yeah, I agree. I think we would have still dated even without our European Adventure." Conner said to Bree and smiled at her

"I would like to think so," Bree said. "I do have to say though, that's how we really got to together. I don't think you would have talked to me if it hadn't been for that trip, you were too nervous. I also think the Fairytale world definitely brought us together."

"Yeah, but we'll never know," Conner said. "However, even though we made amazing friends and met amazing people, I want my kids to have a normal life. We went through so much bad stuff as kids. You were cursed and almost had New York City blown up, and we were almost killed by Ezmia, and a 200-year-old army."

"I get it. As parents we try to protect our kids, and I understand your decision." Alex said. "But, I'm not to sure how the others will take it."

"I'm sure they'll understand," Bree said.

"Oh, do you mind if the Fairy Council and I still give our gifts to her?" Alex asked.

"Yes of course," Bree said. "Even though we don't want her to know about magic, I would love for you too. Plus, she'll be too young to remember."

Just then Bree's mom came into the room holding a huge box, two bags, and on top of the box was Bree's special juice that her mom had made for her. Conner quickly grabbed the cup before it fell onto the floor.

"Mom, what is that?" Bree said as she took the drink from Conner.

"Baby clothes!" Arianna said excitedly.

"All of that is baby clothes?" Conner asked.

"Yes, there are two more boxes in my room," Arianna said while setting the boxes and bags down.

"Mom, you really didn't have to buy all of this," Bree said. "You've already bought us that bassinet."

"Um, you need clothes for her. Plus, she's the first granddaughter in the family, so I went on a huge shopping spree." Arianna said. "You guys I'm a girl mom, so I know how to shop for girls. Plus, I think baby girl clothes are so much cuter. If I had boys, I don't know what I would do."

"Well, thank you, Mom, because I actually only bought like 3 outfits for her. Where did you get all this anyways?"

"These cute baby boutiques I found online, and one just opened in Las Angeles and I almost bought the whole store."

"I don't remember you doing this for Amanda when she had her boys," Bree said.

"Because she had boys! I don't know how to shop for boys. It was a lot harder to find cute clothes, plus like I said I only had you and your sisters, I only know how to shop for girls." Arianna said. "It took me forever to find the right baby boutique that sold cute baby boy clothes. I wasn't going to let my grandsons go around town in clothes from a regular old department store. When we found out you were having a girl, I went all out. I may have went overboard. But just look at this little coat."

Arianna pulled out a tiny, really fluffy pink coat with a hood with a pair fo tiny bear ears on it, out of the bag and Alex quickly grabbed it.

"This is so cute!" Alex said looking at it. "I may go to the store and get it for Annabelle and Allyson in their sizes."

Allyson was Alex and Arthur's second daughter that they had 2 years ago.

"Isn't it cute, I got a lot of other stuff too. Let me go get it. Conner can you come help me?" Arianna asked. Conner nodded and they got up and they got two more boxes from the room across the hall and brought them back to Bree's room.

"Mom! You seriously went overboard." Bree said with wide eyes. As her mother and Conner brought in two more huge boxes.

"Well, at least now you don't have to worry about buying any clothes. I've bought your child's entire wardrobe. From Newborn all the way to 12 months."

"Arianna, thank you so much, but this is a lot of stuff. Let me pay you for it." Conner said.

"Conner absolutely not, I enjoy buying these clothes and stuff for the baby!" Arianna said. "Just promise me you'll visit often."

"We promise, thank you Mom." Bree said and Arianna walked over and Bree hugged her mother tightly.

"I better get back to my cake and food for tonight's party," Arianna said and walked over to the door. "Oh Alex, what time are your parents, and you and your family planning on coming over?"

"At five I think."

"Could you ask your mom to come over in an hour or so to help decorate. I've been so busy lately, I haven't had any time to finish."

"Sure, I'll tell her." Alex said.

Arianna then left the room to attend to the food cooking downstairs.

"Well, I better get going. Are you guys coming tomorrow to the party?"

"If you can make me that magic potion, then yes." Bree said while rubbing her pregnant stomach.

"Don't worry, I'll bring it over tonight. I promise it will work." Alex said and have Bree a hug goodbye. "If anything happens, I want to be the first to know."

"You will be. Thanks for coming shopping with me." Conner said.

"Your welcome, see you guys tonight." Alex said and handed back the fluffy baby coat to Conner and left the room and walked downstairs to the front door.

"I can't believe your mom bought all this stuff." Conner said opening the first box, to find a lot of mini blue boxes with a white ribbon tied around them.

"You know I actually expected this from her. She's always talked about her girls having girls. She's obsessed with babies. Especially baby girls. That's why she had four of us. We convinced her out of the fifth."

"Well, I'm grateful," Conner said while taking one of the baby boxes out and unwrapping it.

"I feel so bad that I only bought like 2 outfits for her. Whenever I get on my computer to shop I need to go to the bathroom to pee or vomit."

"Look at these little baby boots." Conner said while smiling and took them out of the box.

"I swear you'll probably be holding her more than me." Bree said and smiled at her pregnant stomach.

"I can probably guarantee that." Conner said and laughed. "This baby girl will be a guaranteed daddy's girl."

"I have no doubt." Bree said and smiled at her husband, who was still unwrapping boxes with the biggest smile on his face.

That night, all of Bree's cousins, sisters, and close family friends were over at the house for the Campbells annual Christmas Party. The Campbells house was all decked out for the holidays. In the corner of the living room was a massive Christmas Tree, with white and gold ornaments and bow for the top of the tree. Along the walls were pictures of the family and all the of posters from the Campbell Sisters theatrical, movie, and television accomplishments and they either had red bows corners or a string of lights around them. Bree's poster for her show The Cemetery of the Undead was there, her sister Amanda was in Hamilton the movie, based on the broadway musical and that poster was next to Bree's, next to Amanda's was a poster Janie's kids science show, and last but not least, A poster of the live action Frozen movie where the youngest Campbell sister Ella, played Queen Elsa.

The stairs were lined with bright golden lights, and a snow dusted garland. The front of the kitchen island also had a snow dusted garland, but tied to it were gold colored ornaments.

Everyone was there to see Bree and Conner and talk to them about the baby and see Bree's pregnant belly, but they were missing from the party. Mostly because Bree was so miserable that she wasn't in the mood to be at a party.

In Bree's room, Conner was buttoning up his shirt, and combing his hair. Bree was sitting on the bed doing her makeup, but she still was wearing her red sweatsuit.

"Where do you think Alex is?" Bree asked Conner. "I want to go and join the party, but I'm just in too much pain."

"I tried calling her, but she didn't answer." Conner said. "I better go down there and tell everyone your not feeling well. I'm sure they'll understand."

Conner kissed Bree on the cheek and left the room. Right as he left the room, a bright light appeared in the middle of the room and Alex appeared.

"Oh my gosh, I was worried you weren't coming!" Bree said.

"It took me a while to find all the ingredients, but I made it." Alex said and held up a tiny vial with pink liquid in it.

"Thank you so so much! You don't know how much this means to me." Bree said as she starting to cry again. "Oh my gosh, I cry way to much now a days."

"I get it." Alex said as she walked over to Bree. "But you'll feel like your old self once you have the baby. Guaranteed, and this will help with the pain."

"I appreciate it." Bree said and took the vial from Alex and opened it. "Ok, this won't hurt the baby right?"

"No, it won't hurt the baby. It's made with different plants and a touch of magic." Alex said. "But it will only last for up to 24 hours."

"That's all I need. I just need relief." Bree said and took the potion. She instantly felt relief and got out of bed slowly. "I still feel the weight of the baby, but don't feel any pain. Oh my gosh thank you Alex!"

Bree gave Alex a big hug and Alex hugged her sister in law back.

"Your welcome, now let's go and join the party." Alex said. She snapped her fingers and Bree's red sweatsuit changed into a short red dress and a pair of black leggings. Her hair was down and curled and she wore a pair of red flats.

"Thank you for this outfit! I've been wearing that sweatshirt and pants for days." Bree said. "Remind me that I owe you...a lot."

"Don't worry about it, that's what family is for."

The girls went downstairs to join the rest of the party. For the rest of the night, Bree felt the best she has ever felt in months. She enjoyed feeling her baby girl kick and not feel a rush of pain. She spent time with all her friends and sisters and family she hadn't seen since she and Conner moved to New York. It was just the best night ever.

The next day was Christmas Eve and was Alex's party at Charlottes house, and Bree was still feeling great so they agreed to go. Bree got dressed in the same outfit as the night before, as she didn't have many other outfits that fit her, and Conner and Bree left to go Charlottes house. Once they got to Charlotte's house and Bree stepped out of the car, she felt a rush of pain and she leaned on the car. Conner then rushed over to Bree to make sure she was ok.

"Are you ok?" Conner said and held Bree.

"I'm fine, I just think the potions wearing off." Bree said and held her pregnant stomach. "It's weird though, it feels like I'm having contractions."

"You are?" Conner said with wide eyes.

"I think so, but let's wait and see." Bree said.

They knocked on the door and Charlotte opened the door.

"Hey guys, I'm so glad you were able to come." Charlotte said and hugged them. "Merry Christmas Eve."

"Merry Christmas Eve." The couple said at the same time.

"I'm glad we were able to come as well." Bree said. They walked in and inside the entire Fairy Council, Red and Froggy, Jack, Goldilocks and Hero, Alex, Arthur, Allyson and Annabelle, and Mother Goose and Merlin were there as well.

"Hey, guys!" Conner said. Everyone greeted them and rushed to hug them.

"So how are you feeling? Are you just so sick? Aren't you done with pregnancy? Do you enjoy feeling her? Have you decided on the name?" Goldilocks asked Bree all at once as she walked to the couch to sit.

"I'm feeling much better since Alex gave me that potion, but it's kind of wearing off now." Bree said and looked at Alex.

"I'll bring you more tomorrow." Alex said as she went and sat next to Bree and Goldilocks sat on the other side.

"To answer your other questions, before the potion, hell yes! It was awful, I couldn't move. I would be stuck in bed for days, and I was insanely sick. I enjoy feeling her now, but before every time she kicked it was painful."

"I get it. Ugh, I don't ever want to be pregnant again. It restricted me from doing a lot." Goldilocks said.

"Same, I don't ever want to be pregnant." Red said as she sipped her wine. "I have so much on my plate, with running the kingdom, and the lost boys. I've got to make sure the Nanny is taking care of them properly. I'm so proud of them, they have turned into the most well behaved kids in the whole world."

"They have changed a lot since we adopted them. It's been nice to see them grow up." Froggy said.

"It's sad though. To see them grow up." Jack said. "Why can't they just stay tiny forever?"

"Yeah, that's going to be the hard part. So how have you guys been? How's the Fairytale world?" Conner asked the Fairy Council and Mother Goose and Merlin.

"Oh living in Camelot is amazing. It's like a never ending vacation." Mother Goose said.

"The Fairytale world has never been better. There hasn't been a threat yet." Emerelda said. "But, knock on wood."

"Alex told us your decision to not tell her about The Fairytale World, and we respect your decision. Just as we respected your fathers decision." Skylene said.

"We just hope that we can still give our gifts." Tangerina said.

"Of course you guys can. We would love that." Conner said.

"Speaking of gifts, I have something for you guys." Charlotte said and ran into the kitchen and brought out two wrapped Christmas presents.

"Early Christmas present for the baby and you. I know Arianna bought all those baby clothes for her, so I thought she was set with clothes." Charlotte said and handed Conner one box and Bree the other.

"Thank you mom." Conner said as he opened his box. Inside was a soft teddy bear and a sky blue and silver knit blanket. "Mom is this what I think it is?"

"Yeah, it's your old teddy bear and blanket you had when you were a baby. Your grandmother made each of you a blanket when you were born. I thought you might want it for your little girl."

"Mom of course I would." Conner said and gave his mom a huge hug. "Thank you so much."

Bree went to open her present and inside was a baby monitor, a Polaroid camera and a little diary, titled Dear Baby.

"Charlotte thank you for this monitor. I completely forgot we needed one." Bree said and took it out of the box.

"Your welcome. Your mom said that you hadn't gotten one yet. The lady at the store said it was the newest and best one on the market." Charlotte said. "The camera is so you can take pictures of her when she's in the hospital and her first day at home and then you can put them in the book and write little messages to her."

"Awe Charlotte, thank you so much! I love it." Bree said as tears started forming in her eyes. Charlotte came over and gave Bree a big hug.

"You can also use it for your second and third and fourth baby." Charlotte said.

"I think we've agreed on maybe two. We definitely want her to have a sibling." Bree said.

"We have a gift too. You can open it tomorrow or when she comes." Goldilocks said and gave Bree a wrapped gift.

"Oh me too, I put it under the tree. It's the pretty one with red paper and a white ribbon." Red said.

"Thank you guys for the gifts." Conner said.

"Have you guys come up with a name yet?" Rosette asked.

"I think we decided on one last night, but we'll tell everyone once she's here." Bree said and smiled.

"Dinner will be ready in a few minutes." Bob said coming out of the kitchen. "Does anyone need anything? Bree do you need anything?"

"No I'm fine, I just need to go to the bathroom." Bree said. Conner helped her stand up as the potion had already wore off and as she stood up Bree gasped.

"What happened?" Conner asked.

"Um, I think my water just broke, and here comes a contraction." Bree said and she leaned over and held her stomach.

"Wait are you sure?!" Conner said frantically.

"YES, I'M SURE!" Bree yelled. "We really need to go."

"Ok, get in the car." Charlotte said as she got their coats and her purse. "Bree, I'll call your parents in the car. Bob, you'll take everyone to the hospital in your car. We'll see you there."

"Ok go now." Bob said. "We'll see you there."

Charlotte drove Conner and Bree to the hospital as fast as she could. She swerved between cars and came to a screeching halt in front of the hospital. Two nurses came out of the hospital with a wheel chair and wheeled Bree to the delivery room along with Charlotte and Conner. Bree was changed into a hospital gown and she laid in the hospital bed holding Conner's hand as she went through painful contractions. Five minutes passed and Bree's mom Arianna ran into the room with a huge bag that was full of everything for the baby and clothes for Bree and Conner.

"I knew it! I knew you were going to go into labor on Christmas Eve." Arianna said. "I win the bet!"

"You guys made a bet?" Conner said while sitting next to Bree and holding her hand.

"Yes, I said she would go into labor on Christmas, and Arianna said on Christmas Eve." Charlotte said. "I'll pay you after."

"We're really talking about this right now!" Bree said as she breathed heavily as she was having another contraction. Right then Bree's doctor came in with three other nurses. One of the nurses carried towels, the other carried a blanket and a little pink hat, and the other rolled in a baby bed.

"Hey Bree, how are you doing?" Dr. Taylor asked.

"Not well. When are you giving me the Epidural?" Bree asked.

"We actually can't give you one, because your ready to start pushing." Dr. Taylor said.

"What?!" Conner and Bree said.

"My water broke only an hour ago!" Bree yelled.

"Yes, but she's already ready. So we're going to get set up and deliver this baby." Dr. Taylor said.

Bree was so scared, she had heard so many horror stories. From her friends, from the internet, so she prayed and prayed that everything would go well. In the end, everything went incredibly well. After 30 minutes Bree and Conner were proud parents of a blonde little girl, with bright blue eyes that made the nurses freak out over how cute she was. Conner cried more than he ever had before and was jealous that Bree was the first to hold her. Bree felt a huge relief once she had the baby. She felt so much like herself and more. Once the baby was out and on her chest, she cuddled and kissed her all over. She held on tight to her like someone was going to take her away from her. Arianna and Charlotte took dozens of pictures of them. After a few minutes, Conner was able to hold his daughter. He sat next to Bree in the bed and held their baby girl who was wrapped in Conner's blue baby blanket.

"I can't believe she's actually here." Bree said a fixed her daughters pink hat.

"Gosh, this doesn't seem real." Conner said as he looked at his sleeping daughter. Arianna and Charlotte then came into the room with Bob, Alex and Arthur, Bree's dad and sisters.

"Oh look how cute." Alex said while wiping away tears. "She looks just like you Bree."

"You haven't seen her eyes. They're bright blue, like yours and Conners." Bree said.

"So what's the name?" Arthur asked.

"Her name is, Elizabeth Brystal Bailey." Conner announced.

"We wanted to name her after family." Bree said.

"Oh, I love it." Arianna said through tears, as she remembered her recently deceased mother. She hugged her husband and cried into his shoulder.

Alex walked over the the bed and leaned over and kissed her forehead.

"Hey, Elizabeth Brystal Bailey. I'm your Aunt." Alex said through tears of her own. "I'm so happy that you used Grandma's name."

After a few minutes, everyone left to go get food and little things they left at home. Which means it was a good time for the Fairy Council to give their gifts. Alex, Goldilocks, Jack, Red, Froggy and the Fairy Council came into the room.

"Oh, she's so cute." Skylene said. "What's her name?"

"Elizabeth Brystal Bailey." Bree said as Conner handed her back to her.

"I wish your grandmother was here," Emerelda said.

"She is. I feel like she is here and my Dad as well." Alex said and smiled at the thought of her grandmother and father.

"Can we give our gifts now?" Rosette asked. Conner and Bree smiled and nodded. The Fairy Council walked over to the bed. One by one they kissed the babies forehead and gave her their gifts. Emerelda gave her the gift of wisdom, Skylene gave her the gift of beauty, Tangerina gave her the gift of discipline, Xanthous gave her the gift of health, Coral gave her the gift of laughter, Rosette gave her the gift of hope, and Violetta gave her the gift of pride. Last but not least, Alex walked up to the bed and Bree handed Elizabeth to Alex.

"Elizabeth I give you the gift of Compassion." Alex gave her a kiss on the forehead and handed her back to Bree.

"This is possibly the best Christmas and the best a Christmas Present ever." Conner said and kissed his wife and his new born baby girl. "Welcome to the family, Elizabeth."

Later that night, while Elizabeth was asleep in her baby bed, Bree took out the baby book she had received from Charlotte and put the pictures her mom had taken with the Polaroid in the clear picture slots the book had. She took a pen out of her purse and started to write on the next page.

Dear Elizabeth,
It is 12:00 AM, which means it's Christmas morning. You were born just a few hours ago at 9:00 PM on Christmas Eve. I could have never asked for a better Christmas present. I remember at the beginning of this journey I was incredibly scared to have you. I had never thought of myself as a mom and didn't know what to do. Thankfully, I had your amazing dad right there next to me the entire time. Now that I have you, I don't know how I ever lived my life without you. You have changed the game little girl. Even though I was in so much pain during my pregnancy with you, it was all worth it.  I love you more than anything in the world, and I will protect you as long as I live. I love you my Elizabeth. You are mine forever and always.

Love Mom.

Later that night after Bree had fallen asleep, Elizabeth had woken up again and Conner immediately got up and rocked his newborn baby to sleep. After he put her back to sleep he took the book and pen and sat in a chair and began to write on the page next to Bree's.

Dear Elizabeth,
It is 2:00 in the morning on Christmas Day and I just finished rocking you back to sleep. When I first held you I felt a love like no other. You have now changed my life forever. It breaks my heart that you'll never be able to meet your grandpa, because he was probably the best dad there ever was. I'll try to be just as great a dad as he was. I still can't believe your here, it's so surreal. I feel like I'm in a dream and I'm about to wake up. I've been waiting for you for a very long time. You are going to be a very spoiled kid. I'm going to give you the most cuddles and the most kisses anyone could ever give you. I can't wait to tell you bedtime stories, hear you laugh, see you smile, and I can't wait until you can give me and your mom a thousand cuddles. I know you'll grow up into the amazing person and a strong women just like your mom. Above it all, I pray you'll stay my little girl forever and ever. Thank you for being the best Christmas present I could ever receive and thank you for making me a dad. I'm excited for what the future holds for all of us. I love you my little Lizzie.

Love forever and always,
Your dad.
