It had been a week, and it was time for the twins introduction to the world to start. All the royals, and fairies were going to be there. Bree and Conner put Scarlet and Sophie into their coronation dresses. Bob and Charlotte were already ready, and had gotten Brooke ready. So they took care of Scarlet and Sophie while Conner and Bree got dressed. Conner got dressed in a white and gold suit, and Bree put on a silver and purple dress, and put her hair in a high updo. A carriage soon pulled up and they all got in and they rode off the to Fairy Palace.

Bree and Conner took their seats with Scarlet in Bree's arms and Sophie in Conners. Everyone started to come in, and each one came up and congratulated them. Emerelda tapped the side of her glass, telling everyone it was time to get started.

"I'm so glad all of you could join us today. You are here today to meet the two newest members of our world. Scarlet and Sophie Bailey. Daughters of Bree and Conner Bailey. They born a week ago today, and today we are introducing them to you and we will be giving them each special gifts. Emerelda went up to them first.

"I give you both the gift of kindness." Emerelda said and kissed them both in their foreheads. Coral came up next with the walking fish in her arms.

"I give you both the gift of honesty." Coral said and kissed their foreheads. Xanthous came up to them next.

"I give you both the gift of confidence." He said.

"I give you both the gift of happiness." Violetta said. Everyone else gave their gifts, and soon it was Mother Gooses turn.

"Ok, um...I give you both the gift of laughter." Mother Goose first kissed Sophie's forehead, and just as she was going to kiss Scarlet, lighting struck. Everyone gasped. Bree and Conner stood up and they held each other tightly.

"Well, well, well. How precious. I'm very offended that I wasn't invited." A voice said. Everyone couldn't see where the voice was coming from, they looked all around but they couldn't see anyone. "But I'm just here to give you a warning. In one year I will reveal myself to you. On the night of the twins first birthday, little Scarlet, the darkest one of the two, will be mine."

"No." Bree said and held Scarlet tightly.

"It had been said, so it will come to pass." The voice said. Lighting struck again and the mysterious voice disappeared.

"Stay calm everyone, everything will be resolved shortly."

"Do any of you know who that was?" Emerelda asked the other fairies. All of the shook their heads. Bree was already crying and held on tightly to Scarlet.

"Why would she say that Scarlet was dark? Why would that women want her?" Conner said with tears forming in his eyes.

"We'll find out. Don't worry. But in the mean time, go home and stay there." Emerelda said.

"I'm going to give you some of my guards."  Red said holding little Ruby in her arms.  "For extra protection."

"What are we going to do.  Just stay in our house for an entire year, and just wait?"  Bree said through the tears.

"We're going to try to do the best we can."  Emerelda said.  "We won't let this threat, take Scarlet."

"Mom, I suggest you go home.  I'll visit you as soon as I can."  Conner said.  Charlotte nodded and hugged him, and they left.

Bree and Conner went back inside their carriage and they went home.  Once they got home, Bree put Scarlet and Sophie into their pjs, (because it was already night time) and she put them to sleep.  Conner was in their room sitting on the bed, thinking through what just happen.  He thought who do I know who's not dead would want my child?  Bree came into the room, and took her hair out of its updo, and she fell on to bed and sobbed.  Conner sat next to her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Bree, don't worry, it's going to be fine."

"No, it's not.  We're going to lose Scarlet!  How can you say everything will be fine?"

"The Fairy Council will do everything they can."

"Your talking about the Fairy Council that let your uncle take over and turn them to stone." 

"Bree, you know that was an accident."

"But they let it happen."  Bree said and buried her  face into the pillow.  The doorbell then rung, and Conner went downstairs and opened the door.  It was Alex and Arthur.

"Conner we heard.  We're sorry we didn't come.  Ally fell asleep, and we didn't want to wake her.  We're so sorry for what happened.  How's are you?"

"Not well."  Conner said and rubbed his eyes.

"I wish there's something we could do.  I'll try to do everything I can."

"I know you won't fail me Alex."

"Do you want some of my guards to guard your house?"  Arthur asked.

"Thank you Arthur, but Red is sending some."

"Ok.  Well, we won't let this happen."

"Alex, your so lucky you live inside a book, with no threats."  Conner said.  "Another dimension...I just got an idea.  I'll see you guys soon.  Thanks for coming over."

"Bye Conner."  Alex said and hugged him, and they left.  Conner ran upstairs and into their room.

"Bree I have an idea."  Conner said.

"What is it?"  Bree asked wiping her tears away with tissues.

"What if for that night, Scarlet stays with my mom.  She'll never expect it."

"That sounds like a good idea."  Bree said.  "Are you sure she'll be safe there?"

"Positive.  Bree everything will be fine.  I'm sure of it."  Conner said and hugged her.
