When the mirror broke, Bree and Sophie lived with Charlotte and Bob until they got on their feet.  The easiest job Bree could get was at a store in the mall.  Bree had to go back to school so she could get a good job.  She soon got a great job working at a publishing company in the children's department.  She soon bought a two story house, and moved out of Charlotte and Bobs house.  Sophie and Bree were living happily, but they always desperately wanted to go back to the Fairytale World.

It was a bright sunny morning in Willow Crest California.  The birds were chirping, and fresh morning dew was falling from the trees.  Bree's alarm clock went off.  She woke up and hit the top of it.  She yawned and got out of bed.  She walked out of her room and went downstairs into the kitchen.  The kitchen was big, but it was also a mess from the day before.

"I guess I have to clean all this up now."  Bree said to herself.  She picked up a dirty dish and started to clean up.  She soon finished cleaning and poured herself a cup of coffee.  She leaned on the counter sipping it.

Soon Sophie woke up and walked downstairs into the kitchen.  Sophie had changed a lot.  Bree said that she was exactly like her when she was her age, with a little mix of Connor. Sophie was taller, she had dyed a streak of blue and purple into her hair, and she was more confident.  In school she was the best writer, and had friends.  Sophie walked into the living room and sat on the couch, and turned on the Tv.  Bree sat next to her daughter and handed her a mug of hot chocolate.

"Thanks."  Sophie said.

"How did you sleep?"  Bree asked.

"Good.  I guess."

"So what are you going to do today?" 

"Maya and I are going to the mall today."  Sophie said.   "That's it."

"Oh yeah, Happy Birthday."  Bree said and smiled.

"Thanks mom."  Sophie said.

"I can't believe how much you've grown.  I still think of you as that tiny little girl."  Bree said.

"That was along time ago mom."  Sophie said and frowned.

"Whats wrong?" 

"I just wish Dad was here."  Sophie said and wiped away a small tear.

"I know.  Me too.  I've tried my hardest to put the mirror back together, but it's just hard without magic."  Bree said.  "Now, how about you go wake up your brother and I'll go make breakfast."

Sophie nodded, and set her mug down on the coffee table and walked out of the living room.  She walked upstairs to her little brother Cody's room.  Cody's room, was full of Star Wars posters, figurines and his bed spread had the Star Wars logo on it.  Sophie spotted a blow horn that was on his dresser.  She picked it up, and pressed the button.  The blow horn went off, and Cody automatically woke up and covered his ears. Cody was a splitting image of Connor. He had strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Sophie!!"  Cody said.  "Turn it off!"  Sophie turned it off and set it back on the dresser.

"Wake up little bro."  Sophie said.  "It's time for breakfast."

"Don't do that."  Cody said and climbed out of bed.

"Sorry."  Sophie said.  "Race you downstairs.  The first person downstairs gets the first pick on pancakes."

Sophie and Cody ran down the stairs pushing and shoving each other.  They ran into the kitchen, and almost knocked Bree and the plate of pancakes onto the floor.

"I won!"  Cody said.

"Congrats young Jedi."  Sophie said to him playfully.  "You have made the Rebellion proud."

"So what was the prize?"  Bree asked.

"I get first choice of pancakes."  Cody said.

"Have at it."  Bree said and showed him the plate with three pancakes on it.

"I'll just take the plate."  Cody said, and grabbed the plate and sat down at the table.

"I'll make more."  Bree said.

"Thanks."  Sophie said.  Bree soon handed a plate of pancakes to Sophie.  She sat at the table and ate.  There was then a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." She said.

Sophie opened the door and saw her best friend Maya and her mother Roxanne.  Maya had blonde hair, and she wore a pair of jeans and a blue blouse.  Roxanne had brown hair and wore a tan blazer, a pink blouse, with tan pants.

"Happy birthday Soph."  Maya said.

"Thanks Maya.  Come in."  Sophie said and closed the door behind them

"Hey guys.  Want breakfast?"  Bree asked.

"No, we already ate.  But thank you anyways."  Roxanne said.

"So you ready to go to the mall?"  Maya asked

"Yeah, just let me just get changed."  Sophie said, and ran back up to her room.

"So what's the plan for the surprise party tonight?"  Roxanne asked Bree.

"Well, I have to go pick up Sophie's present and the cake.  You can come along if you like."  Bree said.

"Of course I'll come."  Roxanne said.

"And I'm spending the day with Sophie at the mall, so she doesn't suspect anything."  Maya said.

"Perfect.  We have a plan."  Bree said.

"Will I have to go with you mom?"  Cody asked with a mouth full of pancakes.

"I'll take you to the park afterwards if you come."  Bree said.

"I'll go."  Cody said.

Sophie soon came downstairs wearing a purple blouse, a pair of jeans and a pair of tan sandals.

"I'm ready, let's go."  Sophie said and grabbed her jacket off of the coat hook in the kitchen.  "Hey mom, can I have some money?" 

Bree sighed and took 40 dollars out of her purse that was on the counter.

"Here."  Bree said and handed the money to Sophie.

"Thanks mom."  Sophie said and put the money in her wallet, and put the wallet in her pocket.  She then grabbed her phone and put it in her back pocket.

"Bye." She said and kissed her mothers cheek.

"Bye."  Bree said.  Sophie and Maya walked out of the house and walked to the mall.  "I'll just go get dressed, and then we'll go.  Cody go get dressed when your done."
