Sophie followed Maya into the woods, and found her sitting on a log.  Sophie frowned and went and sat next to her.

"I'm sorry Maya.  I should have told you more about this world before you did anything."  Sophie said.

"Sophie please, don't try and blame this on you.  It was my fault and I did it."  Maya said.  "It's just...it's just, all my life I have always been teased and judged by kids.  In my old neighborhood I was surrounded by prissy, spoiled, rich brats, and I was forced to go to their school."

"I never knew that.  What changed?"  Sophie asked.

"I was moved to a different home."  Maya said.

"Maya...what do you mean you were moved?"  Sophie asked confused and concerned.

"Sophie...I'm a foster kid."  Maya said.  Sophie's mouth dropped and she covered her mouth in shocked.  She never knew Maya was a foster kid.  If she would have known she would have helped her.  It was her job to help the less fortunate.

"So Roxanne...is she your foster mom?"  Sophie asked.

"Yeah she is.  She's actually the first foster mom thats kept me for over two years."  Maya said.  "Her real daughter lives with her dad, Roxanne's ex husband in Europe.  Once he left her, he took her daughter and everything.  She was forced to start over.  She hasn't seen her daughter in fifteen years.  So to make money she became a foster parent.  She had a bunch of kids before she welcomed me.  It's just me and her now."

Sophie was now in tears.  This was the saddest story she had ever heard.  She felt so sorry for her friend.  She used to think they were the same.  But now she knew they were completely different.

"Maya...I had no idea.  Why didn't you ever tell me?"  Sophie asked.

"I don't know.  I guess it was never important."  Maya said not sure if that was the right answer.

"Not important?!"  Sophie exclaimed.  "Maya, that's very important.  I could have helped you."

"What could you have done?  I thought you couldn't do magic in the Otherworld?"  Maya said.

"Well...I can help you now.  If you want."  Sophie said.

"Sophie it's ok.  My parents gave me up for a reason.  I don't like living in the past, moving forward is what's important."  Maya said.  "That's why, I'm going home and that's where I'm going to stay."

"Ok, well your always welcome here."  Sophie said and smiled.

"Sophie, I mean it when I said that the Otherworld is where I'm going to stay."  Maya said.  "I'm not coming back."

"But Maya, your my friend."  Sophie said.

"And your mine...but this world isn't for me.  It's yours."  Maya said.  "And your going to be someone amazing someday.  I'm still finding out what I'm going to be and I'm not allowed back here anyways....it was great being your friend."

"It was great being yours."  Sophie said with tears still in her eyes.  "Thank you for getting me through the tough times I had."

"Thank you for getting me through mine."  Maya said.  They soon hugged and separated.

"I'll bring you to the Fairy Kingdom and send you through a portal there."  Sophie said.

"Thanks.  I'll tell Adrien and Lucas you said hi."  Maya said.

"Thanks."  Sophie and Maya got up and walked all the way to the village.  In the village there was still Hope (but she was in a new dress)  but Cinderella and Chance were now there. Once Cinderella saw Sophie she ran up and hugged her.

"Oh Sophie, we had gotten word you and your mother were back and we also heard that you have a little brother now. We can't wait to meet him." Cinderella said excitedly and they separated. "We are so glad your back."

"It's great to see you too." Sophie said with a smile.

"Is this the girl that attacked you princess?" Chance asked

"Father, she didn't attack me. She was just having fun. I see a bunch of kids do it to each other." Hope said.

"Yes but not to a future Queen." Chance said.

"Father, I've already forgiven her. It's fine, besides it's really hot out here. I was about to do it myself." Hope said and smiled.

"Chance, I'm taking her home now." Sophie said.

"Yeah don't worry, I'm leaving." Maya said.

"Sophie is this one of your friends from the Otherworld?" Cinderella asked.

"Yeah, she is." Sophie said.

"Well it's nice to meet you." Cinderella said. "Thank you for taking care of our Sophie."

"Well she's been my best friend through some really tough times. So I'm the one who should be thanking her." Maya said.

"Well, it was great meeting you." Cinderella said.

"Thanks for cooling me off." Hope said and laughed. Maya laughed back.

Maya and Sophie mounted their horses and rode to the the Fairy Kingdom.
