Mother and Daughter Talk
"Mother?" Bree said.
"Bree." Morina said and walked up to her and hugged her, but Bree pushed her away. "I thought you were gone forever."
"And you never came to look for me." Bree said.
"Because I knew you'd be happier somewhere and with someone else." Morina said. The more Bree thought about it she was right. She was happier with the Campbell's. But that wasn't an excuse for her own mother not to at least come for her.
"I want to ask you something else." Bree said.
"Ok." Morina said.
"Why did kidnap all of those children?" Bree asked. Before Morina had a chance to answer, Bree already answered it. "Please don't tell me that it was for some sort of potion." Morina frowned and lowered her head. Once Bree found out she was right she put her hand over her mouth. She never thought her mother could do something like this.
"I never thought you could do something so bad." Bree said. "You kidnapped over a dozen children. And I saw the bodies in the river and the coffins downstairs." Bree shook her head and wiped away a tear. "I can't believe you did something like this. And your lucky you didn't hurt Emmerich, because if you did you wouldn't live to see tomorrow."
"Wait. You went downstairs." Morina asked. Bree nodded. "YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO GO DOWN THERE!!" Morina opened the door to the basement and ran down the stairs and Bree followed. Morina saw all of the empty beds.
"HOW COULD YOU!!" Morina yelled. She then ran over to the mirror and tapped it.
"I released the person that was in there." Bree said.
"Why!!" Morina said. "He was your father! I wanted to start a new family with him, and make that young pretty queen feel terrible, and he was also a distraction for Lloyd to get all of those books." Bree's entire body went numb.
"You mean, that person that was in that mirror...was my dad?" Bree asked.
"Yes." Morina said. "And what happened to all of the children!"
"I released them from their spell." Bree said. Morina sighed.
"I thought I taught you better." Morina said. She then remembered that the spell the Snow Queen cast on Alex was in her pocket. "Maybe a little time in the darkness will make you think about what you've done." Morina snapped her fingers and Bree fell asleep. Morina levitated Bree and carried her over to Lloyds secret cottage in the woods. She opened the door and saw Lloyd sharpening a sword. When he heard the door open he turned around.
"Morina what are you doing back here." Lloyd said.
"I got what I needed." Morina said. "I got another person for your army. Where's Alex?"
"She's downstairs catching up with her dear old grandmother." Lloyd said. They went down stairs and saw The Fairy Godmother in her cage looking at Alex who was chained up behind the cage. "How the catching up going?"
"What did you do to her?!" The Fairy Godmother asked.
"He made me even more powerful." Alex said.
"And I have a partner for you." Morina said and set Bree down next to Alex. Morina then sprinkled the dust onto her daughter.
Bree was raised into the air. Her hair turned black with a purple streak going through it. Her purple outfit turned into a black long sleeve dress similar to Alex's but she wore a pair of black leggings and a dark purple floor length skirt that went around them. Her top had long sleeves and was black and purple. The black knee high boots she was wearing were turned into a pair of short black high heeled boots just like Alex's. She was lowered down. She then woke up and stood up.
"Now that's better." Morina said as she looked at her daughter.
"I feel amazing." Bree said. "I can't believe that I was about to go...good."
"Me too my baby." Morina said and unchained Alex. "Now go make me proud and go do some bad." Alex and Bree then walked up the stairs and walked out of the cottage.
