Happily Ever After
That night everyone was in the Fairy Palace celebrating their victory and watching Red and Froggy's redo wedding in the garden. Goldilocks, Alex and Bree were Reds brides maids. And Connor and Jack were Froggy's best men. The Fairy Godmother conducted the ceremony.
"Do you Charlie Charming take this women to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The Fairy Godmother said.
"I do." Froggy said smiling at Red.
"And do you Red Riding Hood take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The Fairy Godmother said.
"I do." Red said smiling the biggest smile she had in her life.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The Fairy Godmother said. Froggy and Red then shared a kiss. Everyone stood up from their seats and clapped and cheered.
After the wedding, everyone went to the Grand Ballroom for the wedding reception and victory party. A band played some soft music and everyone was dancing.
"I'm so happy we're finally married." Red said.
"Me too." Froggy said. "I don't know anyone else I'd like to spend the rest of my life with."
In the back of the ballroom was Goldilocks and Jack.
"Hey Goldi." Jack said. "I was wondering if we could stop the crime game for a while."
"What do you mean?" Goldilocks asked.
"I mean...we could go live at my old manor." Jack said. "We could raise our child in a safe place. I don't think a life of crime is fit for a baby, and please don't punch me for saying this."
"I'm not." Goldilocks said. "Because your right. I was actually just going to suggest that. It's gonna be weird. But I'll get used to it. Oh I think the baby likes it too. I can feel him or her kicking." They both laughed and smiled.
"Right after the party, we'll head on over to our new home." Jack said.
"That sounds nice." Goldilocks said. They then kissed.
At the other end of the ballroom was Alex and Arthur. Arthur was wearing a suit, and Alex was wearing her butterfly dress she wore the night she got on the fairy council.
"I've never waltz before, but I might have to learn if I'm going to be king." Arthur said. "So would you like to dance Ms. Future Queen of Camelot."
"I would love to my king." Alex said. Alex took his hand and they started dancing. "So what's your plan?"
"I'm going to follow my destiny." Arthur said. "Hopefully with you by my side."
"Of course." Alex said. "I'm making more potion as we speak." Arthur and Alex shared a laugh and kept on dancing.
"Your sister and Arthur look cute together." Bree said to Connor. She was wearing purple and silver dress.
"Yeah, that's why I'm keeping a close eye on him." Connor said.
"How about we dance?" Bree suggested.
"Aren't I the one supposed to ask you." Connor said.
"Well this time I'm asking. You can ask next time." Bree said.
"Ok." Connor said and blushed. Connor took her hand and they started to dance. "Have you ever waltzed before?"
"No, I haven't." Bree said.
"Well your very good at it." Connor said.
"Well it sort of is in my blood." Bree said. "Your also a very good dancer."
"I think it might be in my blood as well." Connor said. They both laughed and then shared a kiss. They smiled at each other and kept on dancing.
At the back of the room, John was catching up with his old childhood friend Lampton.
"My mother turned you into a dog to look after my children!?" John asked.
"Yeah. Probably the worst two weeks of my life. But it was worth it to protect your family." Lampton said.
"Thank you my old friend." John said. "For everything you've done for them."
"Your welcome." Lampton said. They then spotted Elsa who was drinking a glass of champagne and watching all the couples dance. "How about you ask her to dance."
"No, I couldn't." John said.
"Your technically not married anymore since your wife married someone else two years after you died." Lampton said. "And I heard your brother killed her sister. So might want to go talk to her."
"Your right." John said. "I'll go talk to her." John walked over to Elsa and grabbed a glass of champagne. "Hi."
"Hi." Elsa said.
"I'm John." John said.
"I'm Queen Elsa of Arendelle, nice to meet you." Elsa said.
"I heard about your sister and I want to apologize for what my brother did." John said.
"You shouldn't have to apologize for what your brother did. It was his fault not yours." Elsa said.
"True, but I'm still sorry for your loss." John said.
"Thank you." Elsa said and took a sip of champagne. John did the same.
"So how long will you be staying here?" John asked.
"About three days until a boat from Arendelle comes for me." Elsa said.
"Well until then, would you like to dance?" John asked.
"I would love to." Elsa said. John took her hand and they started to dance.
Froggy tapped on Connors shoulder.
"May I dance with my daughter?" Froggy asked.
"Yes you may." Connor said. He and Red then walked over to Emmerich.
"So dude." Connor said. "You excited to live here?"
"I'm very excited." Emmerich said. "I hope my mother doesn't worry about where I've been all this time"
"I'll have my mom call your mom to straighten everything out." Connor said.
"Thank you Connor." Emmerich said.
"Your welcome...Cousin." Connor said. They both laughed and smiled.
"Hey you little gentleman, want to dance?" Red asked Emmerich.
"Ok." Emmerich said. Red grabbed his hand and they started to dance.
"So what do you think of Red?" Froggy asked Bree as they danced.
"Not bad." Bree said. "I'm just happy to have an actual family. And not a family I cursed to be my family."
"And I'm glad to have you in my life." Froggy said. The Fairy Godmother then tapped her glass with a spoon, and everyone stopped dancing.
"I just want to say after all the fighting, losses, and sorrow we have been through I would like to say that I am proud of each and every one of you for being brave, and truthful. I would also like to thank my grandchildren. Who have been there from the very start. They have been brave through every fight. Even though they never got to really live a normal life, they found a life full of adventure and happiness." The Fairy Godmother said. "So let this celebration not be just for our victory. Let this be a celebration for all of our bravery and defeat of all evil." Everyone started to clap and cheer. The Fairy Council then walked up next to The Fairy Godmother.
"We also have an announcement." Xanthous said.
"We were out of line, and Alex...we would like it if you would come back to the Fairy Council and be the Fairy Godmother again." Coral said.
"Yes!" Alex said. "I would love to."
"Then let the party continue." Mother Goose said and took a sip from her flask, and walked back over to Merlin.
"Hey Arthur." Connor said and tapped on his shoulder. "Do you mind if I dance with my sister."
"Go ahead." Arthur said. Connor then started dancing with Alex.
"We did it." Alex said.
"Yeah we did." Connor said. "No more running for our lives. That's going to feel weird. You know whenever I pictured us dancing a waltz together, it would be at a school dance no one asked you to. But I'd be doing it out of pity."
"You know what, me too." Alex said. They both laughed.
"You can never tell this to anyone back in the otherworld." Connor said.
"I won't." Alex said. "We can't go back anyways. I hope mom calls us after she has the baby."
"She probably will." Connor said. "Followed by a lecture about calling her more." They both laughed again. Everyone kept on dancing and dancing. I think it's safe to say that they all lived Happily Ever After.
