It all started with the death of the king when he fell from his throne, The causes of what happened exactly are unknown and still yet to be discovered.
The crown would be passed down to his younger sister, but unfortunately she passed away shortly after the morning of the burial of her brother. She was dead
peacefully in her sleep. Rumors have it she was poisoned.

There was also another relative but he went missing many days before this.
No one knows if his sudden desire to travel was connected to his siblings death days after he left.

Of course there was the other princess, but nobody really knew her as the king had never let her leave the castle.
Some say her eyes were as bright as Paris Green. It's a poison lol

The gossip of the town say the princess was adopted.

The richest villager of gold and silver named Rachel, owned a small part of town where she told everyone the young Thirteen year old Paris green eyed princess had No right to take place as the queen. Not even a drop of the royal blood line was in her!
Protests came around claiming the king loved her as a sister and cherished her for royalty.
Of course drama..

Across the old yet sturdy bridge that has been there since before the kingdom and will probably outlive it, was the grand man made castle.
There had been no sighting of the princess in the castle since the death of the beloved king for nearly two weeks.

At the highest room of the castle is where the princess was settled in for two weeks prior to you know who's death..
In most fairytales that means she's being held captive by someone. But in this one, it is she who is locked not in her room but the prison of her mind.

Her most trusted ally, servant or friend. A man who you can trust most in times like these, came to check up on the girl.
He swung the door open before resting his hands on his hips. "Good morning dearest princess! It's been two weeks since you've left this room." His voice echoed the tall room, he sounded a bit positive to see her.

Muffeled sounds of an irritated princess under the many blankets of her bed. "Go away" she shoed, her morning voice still as weak as yesterday.

The man chuckled walking to the window, spreading currents open allowing the light from the mid afternoon sun to shower in and flood the room with bright blinding sunlight of joy.   "The throne is not empty yet dust is gathering on it. I suggest you leave bed and eat something and put your sorry butt on it young lady." The man said with that parent tone in his voice.  She must know this guy well.

The young girl arised from the covers from what people thought was her deathbed, her hair all fuzzy and fluffy from hiding. Her voice was as poisonous as the color of her eyes. Full of sadness, confusion and anger "If the throne is dusty then dust it off. And while you're doing that go find a more suitable for that rickety stupid old chair."

The man once again chuckled turning away from the window and towards the girl. His look was full of different emotions, One was just happiness to see her finally looking at human. "Now Sally, that is no way for a princess to speak. You are asked to leave for dinner tonight, get ready."

She rolled her eyes flopping back down onto her pillow dramatically. "Cancel it."

"You canceled it yesterday, and the day before that.. and the day before that.. and the day before that. You haven't even seen what the table looks like now! You're going to ruin your reputation."  But before Sally could reply the man settled,  "and your brothers reputation.. basically you need to get out of bed. This will be healthy."

Sally grumbled, grabbing a pillow and throwing her face into it. She didn't want to leave, the bed and her mind have her held captive yet she felt so comforted there. "I dont wanna."  She whined.
the servant just rolled his eyes, "your lady has been too afraid to approach you up here. Everybody has honestly. Except me of course."  He said with a bit of confidence.
He took a few steps towards the door, his hands behind his back just vibing.

The princess groaned once more, the longer a human was in sight the more agitated she became. "chron, if I get up, will you shut up?"
The young gentleman nodded, taking a step out of the room stopping at the door way. He turned around just to say, "by the way, you can one mental breakdown AFTER dinner."

"wHat-"

A few hours the small princess finally entered the main room of the castle, also known as The Great Hall. her dress was pale peach, with puffy sleeves with lace at the end, the dress would flow with her walk. her posture was made with disappointment and weakness. It's been far too long since she's been out of the room, her chest had a tight uneasy feeling the longer she was walking in the castle.

A few people were in the hall, Among those people was a knight and the lady in waiting herself. They both were lost in conversation , probably talking about some kid they beat up for no reason

"Azael!" Sally half shouted, putting more effort in her pace so she could greet her second closest friend
"Sally!" Azael cried running up to her, "I haven't seen you since weeks ago!" She exclaimed before she gripped her in a breath snatching hug,

Sally was shocked at the reaction and the realization of that she hasn't touched anyone since...     that day

Azael released the tight hug and took a small step back to give her room, "we've been so worried about you," she says crossing her arms over another. "The entire kingdom believed you died, but naaaah chron said you were just depressed. "

Sally hesitated before answering. "I wouldn't say depressed, just in a different state of mind."
Just in that moment Chron, the servant man from earlier, ambled down the hall  to meet up with the group, Mumbling under his breath.  Probably something about how sally was depressed.

He approached them all with a slight bow with his head. "Your highness I advise you and your lady to make your walk down to the table before your guests arrive."

Sally stifled a small laugh, whacking Chrons shoulder. "no need to speak so proper! We're all friends here. "

Chron tilted his head at her words while whispering his own words to himself,

Sally clapped her hands loudly once then threw her hands by her side as she started walking faster than she did this morning, finally seeing some people she knew her mind was not so confused anymore. The anxious feeling in her chest would settle down only a bit.

"Come Azael!" She called "try to beat me to the grand fUcKiNg dining table!!" she threw a hand in the air being dramatic as her heels clinked the white polished floor, Azael laughed, "please, the day you win is the day I find a suitor, and we both know I suck looking for things!"

Chron yelled behind the two girls as the went off "watch your language Sally! Princess do not curse!!!"

Sally simply laughed, her giggles traveled through the castle like a old lullaby,

Chron worried as the kingdom is nearly broken over two weeks of no king and a depressed princess, what would've happened if it had been two months, two years, two decades??

He could only hope that the two weeks stayed two weeks

That's enough of our happy little make shift family lets introduce the village!

We go down below into the town, the happy town, the cheerful town, the nice town.. at least this part of it.. the town was the most corrupt of them all. anything you could think of happened there.
we'll get into the robbery that just happened, our little cop chases after robber scene is happening right now in fact,

A Bakery was robbed, a small naturally brown haired boy chased after the man with the stolen goods.

The Baker, used to the robberies, leaned over the counter resting his chin in his hands, "now that we're alone how about a deal" he asked to the only other person in the store, she was putting her usual order of some colorful pastries and a loaf of bread on the counter.

"Oh? what kind of deal?" She asked as she leaned in closer.

"You can have everything for free if," he paused "you give me a kiss on the cheek.." he finished grinning like a little boy in love, she smiled before she paid double the price with her money,

The Baker sat in defeat as she walked out the door with her groceries,  she turned around and smirked as she pulled out an extra coin "see you next week." She said before She kissed the coin and tossed at the man who barely caught it,
The man's smile grew bigger than before as he waved like a child at the closing door,"see you next week Keichi!" He said forgetting the robbery that happened moments before,

His back door of the building slammed opened revealing the naturally brown haired boy who tried to catch the thief from earlier, there was dirt and grass stains all over his brand new jeans.

"Laurence!" He gasped, tired from all the running he just did. For a boy out of breath, his british accent stayed strong.
"I'm so sorry! I couldn't catch the guy, he was too fast!"

The Baker walked to the boy smiling as he patted his head, "it's alright kid, at least he didn't take the door this time!" the two laughed at the memory, the boy and this Baker seemed to have a close brother friendship when the moment was interrupted with Rachel (that rich villager we talked about earlier) bursting in the building through the front door.

"I HAVE TEA!" She claimed as Laurence sighed and rubbed his face knowing the stress that will come,
"Rachel," he said, "this is a bakery I can't sell tea,"with sarcasm strong in his voice, L.

She simply slammed both her hands onto the counter, causing a very loud noise. the blue haired boy jumped a bit. "No- shut up, I heard rumors of the princess in the castle! she is having dinner with prince snake from- whatever kingdom he is from!"

Laurence just continued on his job in the kitchen from behind the counter as a baker, half listening to what she had to say, every now and then throwing a "uhuh.." at her.

"Rumors spiral, Rachel.." the boy spoke up. "And rumors are told to be liez by people who want attention."
Rachel gasped offended. Such a peasant boy at a bakery dared to speak up to a high class woman

"Excuse you little boy, I could buy your silence. Be quiet now"  the boy shut it his mouth and averted his eyes.  Mumbled under his breath, "I have a name"

Rachel who overheard the mumble of his breath scoffed. "And I am rich enough to ignore it!" She said with an agitated tone.
The baker whipped his head around, smacking his hands together he slouched his head over. "And I do not cAre. This is a bakery! geT-"

"BUT LAURENCE THE tEA-"

"raChel, I sell  b r e a d . "

The kid just watched the two argue. A small exhale came from the boy, only slightly enjoying this sight knowing what is to come. Last time they did this, rachel nearly set his chair on fire. They've been friends but always at eachothers throats, I'm sure if Laurence was in danger Rachel would help and Laurence would do the same. the kid nervously looked around unsure of what to do about this all. "Well I think, " rachel exclaimed. "That we should send somebody to intrude the castle at dinner to embarrass the princess and cause chaos!!"

The baker who was named Laurence sighed giving a glare like she was stupid. I mean she was, what kind of idea was that? The guards would detain anybody if they breathe on that bridge.  "That iS- that is such a dumb idea. The castle is heavily guarded! You wouldnt even be able to make it past the bridge." Laurence waved his arms around a bit. "Plus why would you even do that???????"

"Make some drama!! Obviously! "

Laurence cringed, rubbing his forehead.  "The princess may be young and naive- mabye even stupid. But she is also our future queen" he could only imagine what this princess could do as he said 'future queen'

What did she plan for them? What chaos could she create- what chaos did she want?  Would she be willing to protest against other castles for her own? Would she even  want to protect the humble little village with a load of little children and family's.. it's a question nobody could receive the answer for. Questions like those should never be asked by such peasants.

Rachel mischievously grinned. You could hear the mayhem in her voice, a firm tone.. a rich villager who seeks power to be heard yet she stays quiet. " 'future queen' , meaning she is not a queen yet. We could do whatever we want to anyone and nothing could stop us from seizing that.."
God, you could hear her plans roaming through her head.

Laurence, who disagreed with this highly spoke up. He thought she sounded a bit.. mabye evil? But he knew her attentions to the throne, she's is saying this stuff because somebody is willing to pay her. Just who?  "You sound like the villain rachel, you should talk to your friends about this not me. " Laurence would utter. Turning himself away from the girl. He couldn't even consider her a woman for the things she said!!! a small scoff from the boy who was just standing there, a smile grew across his face was amusement that turned into a laugh. "You two I swear- hilarious, you guys gotta be in a book or something. "

The two young people both whipped their head around and spoke with irritation at the same time in sync, "shut up Larkspur."
