The world around Bruno started to change into a different scene. The house crumbled around him, and all that was left was the floor he was standing on. None of the debris fell on top of him or grazed him. When all of the dust from the debris had settled, he could spot Shao standing in front of him a couple of feet away. Everything had settled, and it was only the two standing in the area. There was no scene; it was all black as they stood on the floor.

   " Where is, Y/n? "

   " Somewhere far from you, that I can guarantee. You won't be getting her back I'm afraid. "

   " Says you. "

   " We made a deal, so she stays here with me. "

   " I don't care about your deal, I'm taking her back with me before they pull the plug on her body. "

   " Ah, it seems it started earlier than what I had thought. A few years to early. " Shao said, putting his head in his hand and folding his arms. 

   " What's happening earlier? Do you mean Y/n's death? " Bruno asked, glaring at the man.

   " I thought I would have a least a couple of years longer before her body gave up and became dependent on the equipment in the hospital. But it seems it's happened sooner than what I would like. "

   " Then let her wake up! "

Shao stood straight as an arrow and continued to glare at Bruno. It was quiet between the two of them for a few seconds before he started to laugh like a mad man. When his laughter died down, his eyes showed amusement. 

   " I don't think you get it. After all of this time you still don't understand. "

   " What do you mean? "

   " I believe in one principal and one principal only Bruno Tate. And that principle is, 'Until death does us part'. We shook our hands on this and sealed the deal. So, when she dies I will go with her! That's the ultimate ending for two people in love don't you think? "

   " This isn't Romeo and Juliet. " Bruno said with a deadpan look on his face.

   " If only it was. That would be romantic. However, this is a different story, one I will erase you from, if you do not leave this place."

   " You can't. "

   " Oh? "

   " You can't hurt me because you would be breaking the deal you made. "

   " Yes, but I don't have to kill you with my own two hands in order to make your lifeline be cut in two. " Shao warned.

The ground underneath Bruno's feet started to shake, and some parts crumbled around him and disappeared into the black abyss below the floor.

   " I could just put you in a scenario and you would have to fend for yourself, and you wouldn't be able to make it out alive. It's simple really. "

   " Where is Y/n? "

   " Do you really wish to see her so bad? Fine, let me show you where she is. "

The floor underneath Bruno's feet broke away, and he fell through the floor. The wind whipped by him as he fell, but pain surged through his body when he hit another floor. He raised his head from the floor and looked at the new room he was in. This room was a bedroom. The colors of the room consisted of purple with a  little red here and there. On the bed was a figure that was chained to the headboard. Their wrists were pulled above their head and wrapped in chains. The chains wouldn't allow the woman to move from the bed, no matter how hard she tugged. She could only manage to get on her feet, but that was as far as the chain would allow. He knew it was you laying on the bed, and you were making no attempt to struggle or break free of the chains. Your wrists even looked red from when you tried to escape the chains.

   " Y/n. "

   " This is where she resides. "

   " Why is she chained up? "

   " It's a form of punishment. There have been times she has tried to leave or foil with my plans of killing someone. I had to chain her up while I made myself busy. "

   " How come she hasn't been able to take the chains off? It is her mind. "

   " Because I am in control of her entire mind. Once she shook my hand and we agreed that she would sleep forever and reside here with me, she didn't realize what that would mean. " Shao said, leaning back.

Shao leaned back only to fall into a chair, and he crossed one leg over another and propped his knee up. He rested his right elbow on the knee and held his head in his right hand. 

   " When she gave me the power to allow her to sleep or awake, that meant I would rule every part of her mind. One is in control of their body and if they sleep or not, sometimes they don't sleep because they've had a lot of sugar, or their minds don't want to stop running with thoughts. But their decision to sleep is theirs and theirs only. Giving that up is like giving up the right to life. And she has given that up and placed it in my hands. "

Shao's face displayed a sly smile as he looked towards Bruno. This look told Bruno that Shao believed he had already won.

   " And her life is mine. "
