Black figures jumped from beyond the wall, passing through the guardians, then they jumped from rooftops to rooftops heading straight for the Levenhood Headquarters. They arrived before the gates of the HQ. The guards opened the gates and let them in. The black figures approached the great general and they opened their hoods. They were Levenhood's best spies.

"Your majesty, Ravenrock and Andeena have made their move. When should we make ours?" A spy informed.

"Patience, what they are doing is fighting over territory. We have plenty of those, let them shed blood, once both are at their weakest point, we will strike. Then, world domination is ours." The Great General replied.

"Yes sir, they both have different approached on how to gain territory, it is very interesting to observe them. Another intel tells us that Ravenrock have made new types of weapon, no, rather new types of vehicles. It is a moving cart of steel, with canons mounted in the front." Another spy informed.

"Get me those blueprints of the Steel cart, we can't be out matched by them. Find a way to defeat it." Great General ordered.

"Yes sir!" The spy replied as she left.

"About the boy sire, he is now in Andeena, studying and researching about his abilities." The other spy said.

"Keep spying on him, the Andeenans could make him their greatest weapon. We MUST NOT LET THAT HAPPEN." Great General made clear.

"Aye sire, I shall go there at once." The spy replied and he left.

"Alright Zuno, let's battle your shadows. Let them out! I'll attack." Ulric threw a lightning bolt at Zuno. Zuno was electrocuted. "Remember Zuno, try controlling the shadows."

The shadows came out from Zuno, "why did you do that for?" He yelled. He began losing control again.

"Remember Zuno control it, kill it if you can." Ulric advised.

"I.....can't!" The shadows began to control Zuno.

"Yes you can! Just yell and control it, you can do it!" Ulric said.

Zuno was rebelling against his own shadows, he fell down on his knees, putting his hands on his head, yelling "I won't let you control me anymore!" It didn't work. The shadows took control over Zuno. "You think you can control me?! HAHA, never ever." The whispering voices said.

"Urgh, damn it! We'll have to try another day." Ulric said as he slashed his enchanted sword to Zuno. The shadows disappeared and Zuno fainted.

Zuno awoken in his room. His body was numb, he couldn't move. "Stay still." Arya said as she was healing Zuno.

"I failed didn't I?" Zuno asked.

"Well yes, but it is your first attempt in trying to control the shadows within you. Ulric said to try again tomorrow." Arya explained.

"Yeah, alright. I'll definitely try again tomorrow. I have to control the shadows within me." Zuno said.

"Knock knock" someone said.

"Ehm, come in?" Zuno was confused.

Princess Eena entered. "How are you feeling?" She asked.

"I'm alright I guess." Zuno replied.

"Good, now follow me." Eena ordered.

"Right now?" Zuno was confused.

"Yes, right now. Come on." Eena told Zuno.

Zuno got up from his bed slowly, then he followed Princess Eena out. "Walk with me." She said.

The two walked through the hallways of the palace.

"You know, us mages, wizards, warlock, witches or whatever you want to call, don't just gain our powers without any obstacles. We had to go through extreme tests that even could cost our lives. Like you, for instance, are struggling to control the shadows. Us mages, also struggle to control our abilities in the beginning. In time, we learn to control it, only a few really gifted ones can control their powers from birth. So don't worry to much about not being able to control them. You will be able to." She explained as they walked across the palace garden.

"So it isn't as easy as it seems huh." Zuno commented.

"True, it is never easy. Great power doesn't come without great sacrifice. Alright. I'm going to give you a couple of tips and tricks to quickly control your powers. What you need to do is communicate with your powers. It may sound strange, but you know what I'm saying is plausible. So first, commumicate to your powers, then you begin to control them by understanding their behavior. Don't take me as an example, as royal blood, I can master any power there is, just by commanding it to follow my orders." She continued.

"Sheesh, right, must be nice being you huh." Zuno said.

Eena stopped walking, her facial expression was different, she forced a smile and said "yes, must be nice." She continued walking.

"Are you okay?" Zuno questioned.

"Yes, no worries. Let's head to the meditation chamber." Eena answered.

From afar, a Levenhood spy was watching, following them from the shades of light.

"I sense something. We're being watched." Eena warned.

"What? Where? Who?" Zuno was now concerned.

"Nevermind. It's gone now." Eena said.

They arrived at the meditation chamber which sits not far from the entrance.

"Enter Zuno. Here you should be able to find inner peace and 'speak' with your powers. I'll leave you to it." Eena said as she left Zuno to meditate.

Zuno entered, there were two mages outside the chamber.

"Relax friend, may you find peace." A mage advised.

"This door can only be opened from the outside, usually a person stays for about 1 hour inside this chamber. Should anything happen, which we assume nothing bad would, you have to handle it yourself. We will open this door 30 minutes from now." The other mage said. Both of them were wearing mage robes while holding their own specially made magic cane.

The doors of the chamber were closed. Zuno was alone in an oval shaped room with nothing more than a cushion in the middle of the room and torches hanging from the wall. Zuno sat on the cushion then he closed his eyes. "Alright....relax Zuno, you can do this." He said. He took a deep breath and began meditating.

A few moments later, he opened his eyes, he was in a dark forest again. He stood up, he could see the shadows around him staring and whispering. "Great, here again.." he said to himself. He walked around the forest searching for something. From a distance, he could see a huge shadow standing holding a sword with other shadow minions by his side. Zuno approached the figure, he reached for his sword on his belt, but it wasn't there. "Excellent...focus, this is fake." Zuno mumbled. The tall figure started to approach Zuno slowly.

"Hello Zuno. Welcome to the dark forest. What do thou wish by coming here?" The tall figure asked.

"Ehm, I guess this is inside me? Or --- huh? I'm still confused with all this." Zuno replied.

"Allow me to explain everything, you are in the shadow world, you are the chosen one. You are the shadow summoner." The figure explained

"Ehm what?" Zuno replied. The forest began fading away. "Wait! Wait! I'm not done yet!" He yelled. Zuno awoken, he was back inside the chamber of meditation. "Damn it!"

The doors opened, "Alright Zuno, that should be enough for a first timer." A mage said.

"Wait, I need to get back there, I was so close to getting the answer." Zuno begged.

"No, it's enough for now, we're afraid if you're ill-prepared, you will by stuck in there or 'the other world' for good. We've seen people go in there and their souls never return. You must rest." The other mage insisted.

Zuno didn't want to risk it and listened to the mages advice. He went back to his room.
It was already dark, the moon was the only one making the nights a bit bright. He walked through the hallway. He stopped midway. He sensed something following him from behind. His right hand was forming a shadow ball, in an instant, Zuno threw the shadow ball towards the figure following him from behind. It was a Levenhood spy. The spy was hit by the shadow ball and was engulfed in shadow. Zuno looked in shock as he didn't know what the shadows would do. The spy's soul was taken away from its body. Zuno could see it clearly as the shadows bring the soul back to Zuno. The spy' body dropped on the ground.

"What.....have.....I done???" He said.
