Zuno arrived at the capital of Andeena, Havend. The buildings were made from marble, standing high and firm with a dome for the roofs of the buildings. The teleporter sat on the edge of the capital, near a river bank.

"Hey, how was the ride?" Arya asked.

"It was... Ehm.... Splendid, yeah." Zuno said sarcastically.

"Haha, alright." Arya laughed. "Welcome to the magnificent floating capital city of Havend! Take a few minutes to breath it in."

Zuno stepped out of the teleporter.

"Please place your weapons here, strictly no weapons are allowed in the capital." An elven guard said.

"Right." Zuno said as he gave his sword and musket to the elven guard.

"Let's head to the Royal Palace first, the princess awaits." Arya stated.

"Princess Eena, if I'm not mistaken right?" Zuno wondered.

"Yep, let's ride the griffin." she said.

"What? We're going to fly there?" Zuno was a bit scared.

"The palace is a bit higher on the clouds than the capital. The only way there is to ride a griffin or teleport. So, hop on." Arya explained.

"O...k... Let's go..." Zuno was a bit shaky.

Zuno hopped on the griffin and the griffin flew towards the palace. The palace was made from marble and gold. Fountains were lined up in the frontyard of the palace where the griffins would land. There were no gates surrounding the palace, only magical forcefield that allows the people to breath in, for it was high up in the air.

Two guards, wearing full armor with their black capes dangling behind them and wielding a long sword, approached them. "Greetings, The Princess awaits your presence." One guard said.

Arya and Zuno were escorted to the main hall of the palace, there, Princess Eena and High-Mage Ulric were waiting.

"Welcome Zuno, we've been long awaiting for your arrival. Come, we must begin at once." Ulric said.

"Begin what exactly?" Zuno asked curiously.

"Begin the scanning of your powers, we must see if you truly are shadow summoner of just a victim of the shadow's demise." Ulric explained.

Ulric took them to the palace's chamber of truth. "Ok Zuno, stand in the middle of the chamber, my mages and I are going to cast a forcefield around you, just in case." The chamber was round shaped, Ulric's mages surrounded Zuno and casted the spell. Princess Eena was watching along with Arya.

"Let us proceed, I'm going to ask a few questions before we begin. How do the shadows come out of your body? On what conditions?" Ulric asked.

"Hmm, I guess whenever I get extremley angry or whether my life is in danger." Zuno replied.

"I see, we will now make the shadows come out of you." Ulric stated.

"How exactly?" Zuno wondered.

Behind Arya, appeared an assassin, the assassin stabbed Arya through her heart and she dies instantly.

"W---hy? ARYAA!" Zuno screamed in anger. His shadows began coming out of his body. In anger, he sent the shadows flying to the assassin, but the shadows were blocked by the forcefield. The shadows bursted all over the chamber, but were blocked. In anger, Zuno made a sword from the shadows and cut through the forcefield, allowing him to kill the assassin. The guards immediately took Princess Eena to safety. The mages and Ulric were prepared to kill Zuno.

"Zuno, that's enough!" Ulric commanded. "Kill him!"

The mages took out their staffs and swords then charged at Zuno. The shadows interfered with the mages while Zuno now aimed on killing Ulric.

"You... KILLED HER!" Zuno yelled as he swung his shadow-made sword to Ulric. Ulric put his right palm forward, stopping Zuno's sword.

"I'm not going to die that easily." Ulric said as he punched Zuno with his left fist while using a light spell.

"Urgh..." Zuno groaned as he was thrown back. Some shadows began disappearing from his body. Zuno got back up, now made a spear from the shadows and flung it to Ulric. Ulric took out his sword and deflected the spear. The other mages were still fighting the shadows from Zuno. Zuno's spear moved back towards Ulric, as Zuno was controlling its movement. More spears were casted from around him and he flung them to Ulric. Ulric deflected almost all of them. One penetrated his left shoulder and another penetrated his right leg. He was on his knees. Zuno approached Ulric to end his life.

But then, a faint voice was heard, "Zuno, snap out of it!"

Zuno snapped out of it and he was laying on the floor of the chamber. Nothing happened.

"It was an illusion Zuno." Arya cried.

"Yes, What you saw back there was an optical illusion, you seen the things that will make the shadows come out from you. We saw the real you, going angry and shadows did come out from you, but we kept them inside the barrier. Now I know what you are. Have some rest, you need it." Princess Eena explained.

Zuno was accompanied to a bedroom.

High-Mage Ulric and Princess Eena were still at the chamber, discussing about Zuno.

"He is dangerous, very dangerous." Princess Eena started.

"Yeah, but we can take advantage of him. You know, when things get out of hand." Ulric said.

"True, we should always let Arya be with Zuno, she is our key to using him." Princess Eena agreed.

"Well, I never thought those words could come out from you, your majesty." Ulric joked.

"Desperate times calls for desperate measures, Ulric." Princess Eena made clear.

"I feel another great battle is about to begin." Ulric predicted.

"It IS going to happen, we just need to make sure no more civilians will get hurt during that and make sure that Zuno will do his job when the time comes. May our magic protect us from evil." She ensured.

"May our magic protect us from evil. We need to keep Zuno busy, until the time is right to use him. He thinks of us as those who helped him, he won't attack us." Ulric continued.

"I hope you're right." Eena was worried.

Zuno laid on his double layered king sized bed with curtains covering all sides. "It's so comfortable." He thought to himself as he reached his hands to the ceiling and made a fist. "I'm not losing you, I'll fight to make the world a better place for you."

A knock was heard, Arya was outside. "Can I come in?" She said.

"Sure." He replied.

She locks the door. "Are you alright? It was so scary. You went full evil. What happened? What did you see?"

Zuno now sat on his bed, "My worst nightmare..."

"Do you care to share the story?" Arya tried to make him talk.

"I guess... I'll tell you. The two things that I said to Ulric happened. I lost you and almost lost myself. You died...you did, That was what caused me to become a demon thing, and adding to that, they all tried to kill me, the shadows didn't want me dead. It made things worst for me. When I snapped out of it and saw you, I was utterly, completely relieved---" he started crying "I....can't lose another person precious to me. Never again. I'm going to become stronger and I WILL control my shadows, for the sake of you and everyone. They will help me fix the problem." He explained.

Arya came close to Zuno and hugged him tight. "I'll help you get through this. I'll always be there to save you, hehe." She giggled while crying. "They will help you be better. I know that."

"I lo--" before Zuno could finish his sentence, someone knocked on the door. The two stopped hugging. "Yes?" Zuno said.

"I just want to remind you that, we will help you. No matter what, ask for any favor and we will grant it, alright?" Ulric said from outside the door.

Zuno opened the door, "Any favor? I want to see my parents again."

"We can make that happen, where are they? Sorry for asking this but, are they still alive?" Ulric asked.

"They're in a village just outside Ravenrock kingdom and yes, they are still alive, I know it. Please bring them here to be safe." Zuno begged.

"Hmm, near Ravenrock kingdom you say, they must have guards all over the village. Don't worry, we'll make it happen, give us two days and you will see them again, alive or dead." Ulric accepted. "Any other favors?"

"No, not so far." Zuno replied.

"Is that Arya inside? Are you two hav---" Ulric asked with curious eyes but Zuno interfered, "yes, no! I mean, yes she is in my room, but no we are not having--" Zuno whispered the rest of the words.

"Oh I see. Words of advice from old man experienced with those things, she's so into you. Haha" Ulric said as he left.

"Right..." Zuno replied as he shut the door.

"Arya, I think you mu--" before Zuno could finish, Arya kissed him.

They made out.

Ulric went back through the hallway where Zuno's room was located. He stopped infront of Zuno's room. "Hah, teens." He said to himself as he shook his head and continued walking.
