An emergency meeting was called at Neji's apartment late at night. I sat down on the sofa handing the invitation card over to Shikamaru. Neji didn't seemed too happy about all these. But I guess he doesn't want socks to be stuffed inside his mouth again?.... Shikamaru examined the invitation carefully reading it over and over again. It's 1:00 am and everyone were sleepy including me who dozed off laying my head on Lee's shoulder. Shikamaru yawned and then cleared his throat making us wake up in a haste.

Shikamaru : Sakura. I think you should go.

Naruto : What?! It might be a trap!!

Shikamaru : It is a trap.

Lee : Then why are you telling her to go to the party??

Shikamaru : *sighs* What a drag.... Cause it's the only way to collect proves against him.

He gets up from his seat and takes out a broach from his pocket and walks up to me handing it over.

Me : What's this?

Shikamaru : I have fitted a small camera inside this... Hope you understand what I am telling....

I nod taking it...

Me : You sure about this?

Shikamaru : Yes... Hope you're ready?

Me : Hmm... I should go home and prepare for it.

Shikamaru : Okay.

Naruto : Wait! I will go with you... To the party... You won't go alone.

Shikamaru : Not at all.... You will mess up everything.

Naruto: But....

Me : Please stay out of this Naruto. I don't want to endanger your life. I promise everything would be fine.

Naruto pouts like a small kid.... I sighed thinking how long will this mess go on in my life? Can't it be a little peaceful?... Shikamaru as if remembering something runs out of the apartment and returns with a wireless bluetooth in his hand.

Shikamaru : I almost forgot about this. *shows* put this on your ear. And I will give you instructions.

I did as he told me. Coming closer he opens my hair and gently touches them pulling them in front hiding the bluetooth. For some reason Naruto pushed him away from me breathing heavily as he blushed like anything. Don't tell me he is jealous?...

"Baka"

I frowned...

Shikamaru : What the hell??

Naruto : You were too close! stay away from her!

Shikamaru : What a drag.

Naruto : I know what you were trying to do!

Shikamaru : And what is it?

Naruto : Y-You w-were... Umm... Just stay away from her!

Shikamaru : Never mind.

Choji : Now now stop fighting... nom nom *eating*

Shikamaru : Am not fighting.

I saw sadness in Hinata's face... How could he be such a baka?... He knows I don't have any such feelings towards him... Still he is coming after me and ignoring the person who loves him? All men are same.... But I won't let him do this to her.

Me : Goodnight... Am going home.

Naruto : Should I drop you?

Me : No need, I can take care of myself.

Saying this I left....

Monday.....

I stood in front of the guard as he checked my invitation card. A cold sweat appeared on my forehead... I was wearing the broach. And the Bluetooth was hidden behind my hair as Shikamaru told me to do. The guard looked at me as if I am some kind of uninvited guest.

Guard : Sorry Ma'am.... Only couple entry..

Me : What??!

Guard : You need your boyfriend to enter.

Me : Tsk...

I noticed Gaara walking towards me... My body starts shaking in fear. Did he found me out? Is he going to kill me?

"What now? "

I could hear my heart beats increasing as I felt am done for.

Voice : Hey Sakura Chan what's ya doing here?

I turned around to see who it is.

"Naruto? "

He was wearing a black suit. A luxury black car stood right behind him... Well.. Just standing.. Don't think he can afford it. He put his right hand in his pocket as he walked towards me. To be honest he was looking really handsome. Any girl could fall for him if they looked him right now.... Wait! What's he doing here?!

Shikamaru's voice : What is he doing there??

Me : *whispering* I don't know...

Shikamaru's voice : Anyways it's a positive sign. You can enter the party with him.

I walked up to him putting my hand inside his resting my head on his shoulder like a couple.

Me : At last your here darling.... I thought you forgot about tonight.

Naruto : Huh?

Me : *whispering* Just play along.

Naruto : Oh.. Ok

Me : Now let us enter.

Guard : Sir is she with you?

Me : *narrows my eyes* Don't you trust me??

Guard: It's nothing like that. Ma'am you may enter the party.

I saw Gaara watching us from a distance... Without a further word I almost dragged Naruto inside... Then takes him inside ladies toilet I closed the door carefully after me.

Naruto : *blushing* W-Why you brought me h-here?

Me : Cause this is the only place where there is no CCTV cameras.

Naruto : *disappointed* Oh.

Seriously? What he was expecting?

"Perv".

Me : What were you even thinking before coming here? You don't even have an invitation card.

Naruto : No... I have! *takes out a card*

Reading the invitation card carefully I arch my eyebrows and glared at Naruto.

Me : It's not yours! From where you got this?!

Naruto : Well.... I tied someone up and took it from him...

Me : Your such a baka! You know how much trouble you have got yourself into?? Shikamaru did you hear that?

Shikamaru's voice : Let him be Sakura. You just concentrated on your mission.

Me : As you say.

Naruto made a childlike face. Like students do after getting scoldings from teachers.

Naruto's thoughts....

Why always I get scoldings?... I only wanted to make sure she is safe. She unlocked the door as we both came out of the toilet.... Temari and Gaara walked towards us...

Gaara : What were you doing inside ladies toilet?

Me : Um...

Sakura : That's between him and me.. It would be better if you don't interfere.

Gaara : It's about the safety of our guests.

Temari : Oh please Gaara! Try to understand. They were busy doing couple stuffs.

What with the comment? It's so rude of them.... Wait.... Does that mean we look good together?! I blushed like anything thinking about it....

Sakura : Darling... Let's go to the dance floor and have some good time together.

Wait! Is she looking at me? Is this really happening? I slightly nod before we both walked off.

On the dance floor...

Darn she is so beautiful.... I can't take my eyes off her... We danced on the soft romantic music... Like a prince and princesses in the ball dance... There was only a little distance between us... I felt our lips touch... Or was it just my imaginations? I was lost in my imaginations. When someone put his/her hand on my shoulder calling me. I turned around to see who it was but none were there. Everyone seemed busy with the couple dance.... I shrugged and looked at Sakura Chan again. Only to find her missing. I panicked and looked around but she wasn't there. I was about to call Shikamaru when I heard some voices.

Guy : He hit me behind my head with something hard knocking me out.

Guard : Will you recognize him?

Guy : Um... He had blonde hair.

Darn! That guy from whom I stole the invitation card is here! Somehow I hide myself and wait for them to leave.

"Am sorry Sakura Chan... Just wait for me... "

Sakura's thoughts....

They have put a tape on my mouth so that I can't raise an alarm. My hands and legs were tied up as they made me sit on a couch in front of Gaara. I glared at Gaara as one of the guards walked up to me and removed the hair falling on my ear taking off the Bluetooth.

Gaara : *taking the bluetooth* Did you really thought that it would help? *turns it off* Take away her mobile.

Snatching my bag he roughly opens the chain and takes out my mobile. Opening the battery and sim card throws it away. And lastly breaks my phone beyond recovery. He removes the tape and ropes and stands beside the couch Gaara was sitting on. Angrily I got up from my seat and stood in front of Gaara who smirked.

Gaara : Hope you didn't have any trouble coming here. And am sorry from the behalf of my guards.

Me : Do you think that you will get the formula by kidnapping me??

Gaara : I know girls like you very well... Tell me what you want? Money? Sex? Or Fame?

Taking out a bundle of money he throws it on my face... I was feeling really insulted... I stood there glaring at him without saying anything as the bundle fall down on the floor... My limits had been reached and I can't tolerate this shitty man anymore.

Gaara : So? Want more?

At this point of time I simply slapped him hard on his face making him stand up.... Everyone were startled at my action. Guard was about to take out his pistol when Gaara stopped him and grabbed me by my hair pulling it.

Me : O-Ouch!

Gaara : What were you thinking?

Me : Am not an object that you can buy with money.

Gaara : Really? Then we will have to use the other method.

Me : What do mean?

Gaara : *pulling my hair more roughly* Anything can happen to you in this room and no one can ever find it out. Don't tell me you really thought your friends can find you out?

Me : Leave me! *wincing in pain*

Gaara : No one can find this place without my permi....

Naruto's Voice : Sakura Chan!!

All of a sudden the sliding door opened and Naruto and my friends came through it. Gaara leaves me astonished.

Gaara : How is this even possible?

Shikamaru : It's simple... I put a tracker on her.

Gaara : B-But what happened to Kankuro and my guards??

Naruto : Choji, Neji and his team are taking care of them.

Using this confusing moment I tried to ran but Gaara held me at gun point.

Gaara : It would be better if you leave before I blast her brain..

Before he could do anything I punched him hard on his face knocking him out. My friends were already struggling with Temari and the other guards. Shikamaru was getting badly beaten by Temari when Ino hit her with a hard metal rod making her unconscious. Shikamaru sat down on the floor panting.

Shikamaru : *blushed* She looks beautiful while sleeping.

Ino : Who??

Shikamaru : *pointing at Temari* She...

Ino : Your insane *face palm*

I was busy helping Lee when Gaara came back to his senses and grabbed the gun getting up he pointed it at Lee. Only to be noticed by me.

Me : Lee!

I pushed him away as Gaara pulled the trigger. I stood there closing my eyes waiting for the bullet to take my life.... Yes... Now my worthless life will end... All the shouting, fighting and every other noise fell deaf to me the only sound I heard was my heart beats....

"Weird"

Why am I still alive? Slowly opening my eyes I looked to my right... To my great horror Naruto was holding my with his left hand.... His other hand was bleeding badly.... He used himself as a shield to protect me... My body pressed rested against his... There was a grin on his lips... Who would say he was in such a pain?..... I started having goosebumps.... Why did he do this for me?.... He took the bullet on himself just for protecting me? Am such a baka. Naruto's body starts falling until it crashed on the floor. Gaara raised his gun ones again to shot but was stopped by the sound of firing. Neji and his team entered the room.

Neji : Arrest them!

I sat down beside Naruto taking his head on my lap. Tears formed at the corner of my eyes as my brain seemed to be blocked with the numerous thoughts that came in my head.... Nothing mattered to me anymore except for one thing.

Me : Someone call the ambulance immediately!!!
