Lady Tsunade : You sure about this?

Me : Yea. (Sighs as my forehead covers with sweat) I can't afford to lose him.

Lady Tsunade : That virus is spreading all over his body. You will have to decide fast.

Me : I haven't tested that medicine on any patient before this. When I said I want him to go away from my life I didn't meant like this...

Lady Tsunade : Sakura.. Pull yourself together.

Me : Yea...

Nurse : (going through his reports as we push an injection against Sasuke's arm) Doctor. Poison from the virus is spreading fast. From his left hand.

Lady Tsunade : If it continues then his hand will get paralyzed. We may have to cut it off to stop it from spreading.

Me : No if you do that he won't be able to play guitar...Give me some time to prepare the medicine. (Gulping a spit) I will save him.

Lady Tsunade : I know you can do it Sakura. Just pull yourself together.

Me : Call Itachi Niisan. And I will be right back.

Saying this I exit from the ICU.

Few days later.

I was going through some papers kinda frustrated as Naruto peeked at them over my shoulder confused. I moved my eyes kinda annoyed as he puts his index finger on his chin.

Me : Naruto. What are you doing here?

Naruto : I was worried for ya. You disappeared that day and didn't attend my phone calls.

Me : I was feeling guilty for not attending your wedding. *sad*

Naruto : It's alright. This was more important ya know. How is he anyway?

Me : Alive. I called Itachi Niisan. They may leave in two days.

Naruto : Is he in a state to go out of town?

Me: Um... I don't know.

Naruto : Sakura Chan.. Do you still have feelings for Sasuke?

Me : What?... No... I don't.

Naruto : You sure about that? (He raises an eyebrow)

Me : Yes. I am.

Avoiding his gaze I walked towards Itachi niisan who seemed to be worried about something.

Me : Niisan is everything alright?

Itachi : Oh.. Hi Sakura.. Um.. No...

Me : What happened?

Itachi : Lady Tsunade said it would be risky to shift Sasuke from this town right now. He needs to be under observations for at least few months. But... Sasuke sold his house on the day we left four years back. Do you know any cheap place to stay here?

Me : You can stay with me.

"Wait what am I saying?"

Itachi : You sure about this?

Me : Yes.

Inner Me : Sakura don't be foolish Shannaro!

Me : He would be under my observation. I will know about the side effects and working of the medicine.

Gaara's thoughts....

Entering the hospital I walked towards the reception asking for the whereabouts of Sakura. I found her talking to someone. I was about to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I saw Naruto grinning at me.

Me : Hey Naruto.

Naruto : What you doing here?

Me : just came to meet Sakura. Who is that guy?

Naruto : Huh? Oh he is Itachi. Sasuke's big bro.

Me : Sasuke? I have heard that name before.

Naruto : I guess you did. After all he is Sakura chan's ex and the patient whom Sakura chan is treating right now.

Me : She.... Has a lover?....

Naruto : Technically ex. They had a bad history. Why you care?

My throat dries up as I felt stabbed on my heart.

"What's going on?"

Why didn't she told me that she loves someone else?

Me : Nothing.

Naruto : Don't tell me you have feelings for her?

Me : No. Not at all. I should get going.

I walked away in a hurry trying to cope up with my emotions.

Sakura's thoughts....

I saw Gaara talking to Naruto but by the time I reached there he was already gone. I looked at Naruto out of concern.

Me : Is he alright?

Naruto : Yea I guess so.

Me : Ok.

Naruto : So what was Itachi saying?

Me : Am letting Sasuke stay with me for a while. Until he recovers.

Naruto : And you agreed?! Have you gone nuts?? I think your forgetting what he did to you four years back!

Me : Naruto don't shout it's a hospital. Moreover I can't say no being a doctor.

Naruto : I thought your duty is over outside these four walls? Or is it you still have feelings for that asshole?

My eyes became sad hearing that... I looked away almost sobbing.... My own friends are doubting my decision... Why is this happening? I don't have feelings for Sasuke. Or am I lying to myself? Again?.... No... Am sure this time.

Naruto : Of course you do. What am I even thinking? You never learn do you Sakura? But you know what? This time your all alone. So good luck with your life!

At this everyone started gazing at us. Naruto stormed out angrily when I felt a hand on top of my head.

Itachi : Is everything ok?

Me : (trying my best to control my emotions) Yea.. I guess... If not... Then I have lost everything in my life...
