I watched as the figure of a man dressed in black from head to toe stepped out of the shadows and into the light. He looked exactly how I remembered him. Hamish...
"You put up a good fight against him." He said darkly.
"What are you doing here?" I hissed.
"Awww, Katrina. I haven't seen you in so long and that is how you greet me."
"I never wanted to see you again."
"Well, here I am. How about a hug?"
"Never in a million years."
"Same really." He said pretending to be upset. Then I watched as loads of people came out from the shadows. They were all members of Black Viper. I felt the anger boiling up inside of me. This was all a trap, but how did they know we would come here? I wondered.
"You are probably wondering how we new where you would be well..." Hamish turned towards the shadows. "I think it is time you came clean don't you?" I watched as someone stood out of the shadows. I gasped as I recognised him.
"Jace." I shouted. He looked at me and I saw his eyes were full of sadness.
"I am sorry Kat." He said.
"Kat? What's that? A little nickname they have given you?"
"How could you Jace?" I shouted completely ignoring Hamish.
"I didn't have a choice they have my Father." He said.
"You told me he was dead."
"I thought that too but they have him somehow. They said if I didn't help them they really would kill him."
"Aww, isn't this just sweet." Said Hamish.
"Oh shut up Hamish." I screamed. He looked a little taken back.
"You dear speak like that to me?"
"Yes because I hate you." I said as I felt hot tears run down my face. "You take everything good away from me." I began to charge but Hamish smiled evilly and put his hand in front of him. I went flying back until I landed on my bum.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He said looking at me friends. I looked behind me and saw that they were all being held by the members of Black Viper. I noticed the bands around their wrists.
"Yes, that's right. They are magically bands that stop the wearers using magic." I saw them all struggling to break free.
"You hurt Kat. I burn you to a crisp." Shouted Natsu with a face of pure anger. Hamish laughed.
"And who are you to stand up to me?"
"I'm the guy that going to kick your ass. Nobody makes Kat cry."
"Natsu..." I said under my breath.
"Oh, I think I remember you. You are a Salamander right? Yes Jace told me all about you." I looked back at Jace and glared though he was staring at the floor. I couldn't believe it.
"So what you have been giving Hamish information on all of us?" I shouted at him.
"I'm sorry Kat. Please you have to understand. I didn't have a choice."
"Don't lie to me. Annabelinda always told he there was more than one way out of a situation. If you told me I could have helped you. We all could have but instead you traded us in. I don't understand how you could do that, I trusted you." I screamed as more tears poured down my face.
"Alright, I think I have had enough of this. Get them back to the guild." Said Hamish and before I knew what was happening everything went black.
